So I broke down and bought this SLA075 Seiko back from my Seiko AD. Here is a detailed comparison video between the SLA073 and SLA075 which I now have both in my collection.

I thank all you guys fot your votes! I did end up exchanging this awesome SLA075 that I truly prefer because its nearly the classic black diver that I dont have in my collection. Pretty much everything i have is blue. So that is why I struggled for a lot longer than I actually did. I kept making rearons not to send it back. I still prefer this piece, but and however I could not debate or argue with common logic and as such I did send it back and I did get the SLA073 ice blue dial but on the $415 dollar ovetpriced backordered bracelet that I rationally and logically was not going to partake in suporting Seiko with their truly marked up by 400 percent items. That is what apple does. So I exchsnged it and my awesome AD didnt charge me the additonal $100 whom I hidhly recommend so I came out with an even exchange and got the bracelet which saved me $415. I just have to get used to the ice blue dial but I do prefer the 075 grayish gradient to black classis looking black solid diver. See the link for a look at the bracelet and the ice blue dial as its not a review so not very long.

Hey bro, can you remind me what the difference is between that watch in your hand and the SL "marinemaster" 200m with screwback that has the ice blue dial and the stainless steel bracelet? In other words, what would you be getting in return while giving up the bracelet? Also, will you be getting the other model with the steel bracelet?
Lastly, guess what? I pulled the trigger today on the Seiko LX spring drive, SNR045 Limited Edition Antarctic green moss dial, titanium. I left behind the Special Edition red dial 300M with monoblock. And I gotta say, it's spectacular! No regrets.
(Check out my email I sent you for details.)

Wow!!! A huge congratulations on a true grail diver! Man I know you have to be super stoked! I want the nearly same exact diver the SNR029 which is identical to yours except for the color. The other grail I want is the SNR025 which is the land master with the same size 44.8mm case. Man a huge congrats to you. You made the absolutely right decision! Man I’m excited for you as if I just got it myself reading your comment! Man you are going to enjoy that perfect ultimate dive watch!
The one I have in this video 075 is the same exact diver as the one I have incoming is the 073 which the only two differences is the 073 has an ice blue dial and comes on the bracelet that should have come on this 075. This one the 075 I sent back today comes on a Seiko rubber strap but get this. So this one I had retails at $2,800 on the rubber strap. The 073 ice blue identical diver retails at only $100 more and comes with the bracelet that Seiko has insanely overpriced at $415 dollars. So all together there are three notable differences but they are identical divers. One, the 073 that I have incoming tomorrow has the bracelet. Two, they have different color dials. Three, the 073 ice blue dial on the bracelet retails at $2,900 and the 075 that comes on the black rubber strap as I had in hand retails at only $100 less at $2,800. That’s it. No other difference. What finally made me exchange for the ice blue identical diver was it just made logical sense to get the ice blue dial to be able to get the bracelet that would have otherwise cost me an additional $415. So I was willing to pay an extra $100 and get the blue dial model which technically would have saved me $315 counting the $100 difference in both their respective overall price. So even better my AD is awesome and a truly good man. He didn’t charge me the extra $100 in difference in their overall price and did an even exchange. So the logic was too strong to ignore being that they are identical other then the ice blue dial has the bracelet that I definitely had to have. It just made logical sense to get the ice blue and forgo the greyish black classic look for a diver to get the bracelet with the ice blue dial for the same exact price as I paid for the 075 I had in this video.Plus I like the ice blue dial. When it came down to the do or die I knew deep down that common logic kicks in and I’m like okay I’ll be getting the same exact diver same everything including both having the 8L35 movements. I can’t wait for it to arrive tomorrow
I will check my email and will see you over there! Congrats again on the all time ultimate dive watch!

Thanks a ton! The LX is truly impressive in its design. And it is no surprise that a Japanese designer for several exotic model Ferrari cars, like the Enzo, designed this beast. It looks as green, shiny, and crisp as the Rolex "Hulk" Sub.
I agree, it is always best to go with the steel bracelet option. That situation is similar to what Omega does with their Seamaster dive watch. It is better to go steel, even if rubber is slightly less expensive. Because to make up the bracelet later, you'll pay 2-3 times that discount margin anyway. Glad your AD provided you the same price/discount as the 075 model. I think you'll be happy with it. Because for my part, it no longer really bothered me having a screwback case on the SNR, as opposed to the moboblock case of the earlier watch I told you I was originally intent on getting. Your 073 on bracelet will look similar to mine now, only mine is 300 meters, in titanium, and a Spring Drive.
Congratulations on your new Sla073! Wishing you the best on your continued watch journey, my friend. I'll keep you posted on some other interesting finds or other pieces in my collection. And I'll keep watching your videos.

@vivofilms hey brother! How is that SNR treating you? Still loving it? Man I want the SNR029 or the SNR025 soooo badly!
I did get the SLA073 and the bracelet made a HUGE difference. My deal is I'm not warming up to the color of the dial. I'm trying to but it's not looking too good. I am calling an AD that has the SLA071 limited edition landmaster in stock and going to see about a trade today. I don't have any Seiko ADs where I live unfortunately.
Don't give up on me emailing you back! I rarely check my emails but look for my response today or tonight. I want to see some photos of your SNR Grail!!!!
