    After two failed attempts, one with FreeCAD and one with SW, after so many hours rewinding the video going back over what I'd done or what was left to do... I MADE IT TO THE END WITH AN ALMOST PERFECT REPLICA OF MR JOKO ENGINEERING'S MODEL. I am so proud of myself.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH AN AWESOME TUTORIAL, SUCH A GOOD JOB CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH MR JOKO ENGINEERING.

    I've juste started the course to replicate this in order to learn from solidworks. I'm spending hours just to copy just minutes of the video and troubleshoot some situations with the soft settings. After two days, and 2 hours of work i've just been to the time 6:17.
    But I prefer to do it this way and learn but to try by myself and not use the power of the software.
    Thank you for your work Joko. I will update this comment until I finish.

      After another hour I'm now at 16.08. Had a lot of difficulties with designing the pipe, constraints didn't seem to place correctly and had a lot of tries to get things in order. I cannot set the proper texture to the assembly.

    • @Von_DBL
      @Von_DBL 2 года назад

      It's getting easier and easier, I'm now at 33:12 with another hour of work. I didn't fix the texture issue, I focus on design.

      @@bidonpomoew6536 After deciding what a reasonable bore and a few bolt patterns, I dove straight into the modeling. Reason being is I wanted to produce a concept of how one would be modeled, but not replicate something that actually exists.

    I know this took a lot to make in solidworks, but is it possible to do something similar in Freecad? maybe also an engine block?

      @@JokoEngineeringhelp ok so odd question but I was wondering if it would be possible to build a cad file for a small engine and have it cnc milled by pcbway since they do that now? Is there any way to simulate airflow?

    • @JokoEngineeringhelp
      @JokoEngineeringhelp  3 года назад +2

      Yes SolidWorks simulation, which costs extra. FreeCAD has CFD capabilities which I plan on covering soon and you can do that for free. Also look into salome meca, open source CFD and FEA
