  • This video explains the use of the two blue buttons just below the main tension assembly. One is for the light dimmer, the other is for needle up/down and half/full stitch. Also known as the inching button.

    Hi:) when i press the 'needle up' button i always have to turn handwheel slightly more towards me to release thread. Is this normal? I have had problems with skipped stitches since getting the machine
    Thanks in advance, your videos are so helpful

      You may need to take it back to your technician to get the needle up position adjusted and to check it over to see why it might be skipping stitches.

    Hi! Great help! I have an H2 as well and I was wondering how you are stitching without the bottom thread?

    • @ozcommercialsewingmachines
      @ozcommercialsewingmachines  2 месяца назад

      If a lockstitch machine is creating a stitch then it has a bobbin in place. If there is no bobbin then no stitch.

    Great video thank you, do you use different feet on your Jack H2? Like piping or zipper feet?

    Thank you. The needle button is now stuck, so once I press the presser foot it continues to sew on its own. How can I fix this please.

    • @ozcommercialsewingmachines
      @ozcommercialsewingmachines  2 года назад

      Do you take your foot off the pedal when you press this button? If you leave your foot on the pedal it will continue to sew. You need to remove your foot from the pedal to be able to use this button.

      @@ozcommercialsewingmachines Thank you for responding. It appears the module for the needle up and down needed repairing as the little plastic button had broken off on the inside. Thanks for the informative videos. I have learnt to use my machine via your videos.

    Hi.
    Can this machine sew thin material?

    • @ozcommercialsewingmachines
      @ozcommercialsewingmachines  2 года назад

      It depends on what material you are talking about, but essentially it is designed for upholstery, soft furnishings, and canvas etc, I would recommend an "A" series machine fir lighter fabrics.

    • @medk
      @medk 2 года назад

      @@ozcommercialsewingmachines the a series are not available in my country, we have the f4.
      I would like to know if it can sew leather and tarpolin please.
      I'm asking about the f4 now

    • @ozcommercialsewingmachines
      @ozcommercialsewingmachines  2 года назад

      @@medk ok, the F4 is for light duty, like garment construction etc, and it only has a short stitch length, it can sew heavier items, but you may need to use a 71x1 needle system to use heavier threads.

      I was also wondering if there was a way round sewing lighter fabrics on it. Great for my heavier fabric but when doing an interfaced cotton for a bag lining I have to go back on the domestic unfortunately.
