Just working through your videos which are so helpful. I don’t yet own this machine but tested one today. Regarding the needle up down feature, you just need to press the needle symbol to change the up/down position. I’m sure you’ve discovered this as I see the video was 2 yrs ago, but it may help someone. 😊
I know this is old...but I just took delivery of a new H6 machine. It is awesome machine. 200spm is fast enough for me at the minute, but 8 layers of leather is no problem! Took me a little while to work out the threading route and the bobbin load but thanks to your videos it suddenly became clear! Thankyou 😊
Your videos have been a great help, thank you. Got my machine yesterday, manual is shocking! 🙈 This is my first indistrial machine so felt like a deer caught in headlights!
Marie you’re a star! Thank you for your life saving videos. I love this machine which I’ve recently bought, also from Tysew, but have been so disappointed with the lack of manual/instructions for it. I dare say it creates more unnecessary call outs for them so I’m always watching your videos first before picking up the phone to them! Thank you xx
great video. it is very helpfull. today I bought Jack 2060G. I love also Jack H2. both are great sewing machines. I think I'll receive my 2060 after two weeks. I got also two extra foot from the seller. An right foot and An left foot.
Hi and thanks for the useful video. I'm considering buying this machine for bag making and as I can see it's great on vinyl. I've looked on Tynsew site but no sign of the machine unfortunately but I think you've helped me to come to a decision at last. Seemed to have been going round in circles till I found your video. Thanks
Considering buying this machine. I saw a video of someone threading the A4 which was also helpful and she said that it was the same way for other jack machines.
I've been trying to set up this same machine from the same place and these videos have been so helpful! Thank you so much! I was really struggling with how stiff the presser foot lever was and I was paranoid I was going to break something.
bonjour je viens d acheter la jack H2 et je débute avec cette machine comme vous je trouve qu'il n y a pas beaucoup de vidéos pour information. alors merci de nous montrer le fonctionnement!! thank you very much
Hi Marie, I bought this machine 13 months ago I use it to make dog beds. It is wonderful. Thanks for your splendid review. How about binding attahment/foot?
Hi Wilf I’ve not bought any attachments. The only other feet I use are piping feet. I’m guessing the juki 1181 binding attachment would work but I don’t think I would get much use from one. Glad you like the videos 👍😀
Really need to know as I'm in the market for buying this machine, I mostly make lightweight cushion covers and curtains, but need to know if it will work with lining fabric, would be good to show a video on sewing different fabrics...Please
Thanks for your videos Marie! My one is coming on Thursday (also from Tysew). I’m a bit nervous about putting it together when it first comes (as in ‘building’ it!). Now you’ve had it for a couple of years, are you happy with it?
Hi Daniel I still absolutely love my Jack. It’s a great machine you won’t be disappointed. Don’t worry about building it it’s already built for you. Take a photo of how the machine is threaded when it arrives that way you can always look back at them if you’re unsure of the threading. Also don’t remove the plastic ties that are attached to the rear of the walking foot mechanism these attach the wick to the arms that keep everything oiled 👍 happy sewing x
Hi did you have any problems with tension? Is the tension easy to adjust if needed please? I don’t want to buy another machine where the tension is awful 😞. Thank you!
Just to say I found your videos very helpful `I have had my H2 since October and it takes a bit of getting used to but it certainly was good value for money. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can improve my straight line sewing on leather? It is not good I can tell you! The manual that came with the machine is totally inadequate in my opinion and there does not seem to be a book manual for the machine as yet which would be helpful after all ``~~~~~~~~~~I doubt if many of the UK users speak Chinese Thanks again I will look out for your next tutorial Derek
do you have any problems with tension and the thread stand ? i am having a strange problem with back tacking ,if i guide it trough the thread stand whenever i try to back tack it instantly creates rats nest on the bottom, overall im in a bummer what do,any suggestion ?
Hi thank you for your videos I have found them very useful whilst setting up my machine. I was wondering if you’d be able to answer a question? What thread have you found best to use with the machine because the ones I have been using seem to fray and snap as well as jam up the bobbin thank you
Hi there. If you use regular domestic thread it will break easily. The best thread is bonded nylon. The best I have found is somabond , somac and aussel are the best I have found. They don’t fray as much. I’ve also been using 100/16 needles for the lighter stuff xx
Hi thanks for the helpful videos, I am about to buy one of these, can I ask what size and type of needles and what thickness of thread you used to sew the vinyl, thanks.
I use a 135/17 120/19 or a 110/18. The needles it comes with are really big don’t use these. I use tex 70 bonded nylon also called 39s or40s bonded nylon xx
Hi Marie, my top thread keeps shredding. I'm using upholstery thread because my bonded nylon hasn't arrived yet and i've lots of bags to make for orders for Christmas. I'm tearing my hair out. I've checked for 'spurs' on the bobbin spike, played with the tension for hours. Is it just my thread?
Hi Sandra Yes it’s definitely your thread. If it’s not bonded it tends to unravel. Have you tried ordering from Amazon their delivery is pretty quick. What size needle are you using? Xx

Oh no what a nightmare. I know it’s sounds ridiculous but are you threading correctly? It’s hard to tell without seeing it. Is it shredding straight away?
@@marievague9169 sometimes it shreds almost immediately, sometimes I’ll sew one side of a bag (phew that’s unusual) and it will go again. It’s almost constant. Have watched your videos, you may worry I’m stalking you! !!
can anyone tell me if this machine can sew curtain linings together ok as I was told it will ruin the fabric, this machine is only good for upholstery and leather, and vinyl and the like, it won't cope with let's say dress fabric
Hi, i have bought this machine its from tysew aswl. I have tried searching for some vedios of how im supposed to use it as it looks kind of complicated i would love it if you could put in some more vedios it would help me alot and others. As theres not much vedios on this model on RUclips.
Did I miss where the bobbin goes once you've wound it? I'm thinking of buying this machine as I have a singer walking foot machine now which is on its last legs 😥
Hi there sorry didn’t put it on the video. It goes under the nail plate. You have to do this by going under the machine. I’ll pop a quick video on later and also a bit of extra info on the control panel xx
I can see you are enthusiastic about the machine but you need someone to help you video so you can zoom into the parts that you are showing. I could hardly see anything as your hand was in the way😩. I am going to buy this machine next month.

You’re welcome Neil 👍 enjoy your new machine xx

Yeah the instructions are rubbish 🤣 glad they came in useful. Enjoy the machine. Any problems just give me a shout I’ll try and help xxx
Thanks so much for taking the time to show this. Can you show how the bobbin is loaded please ?
Hi Marie, you mention that your foot lifter is quite stiff to raise…if you you use your knee lifter at the same time it will make it easier. Cheers!

Couldn't get mine to move below stitch length 4. The suggestion to press the reverse worked for me and I can get down to 2.5 stitch length.
See that knob that changes the stitch length it's probably been tightened for transit get a screwdriver and loosen it in the centre

Hi there. If you push down with your heel quickly, when you've finished sewing, the needle will automatically move to the up position for you. ;)
Thank you very much !!!
Hi did you have any problems with tension? Is the tension easy to adjust if needed please? I don’t want to buy another machine where the tension is awful 😞. Thank you!
Hi Tracey never had a problem with tension if using the right thread for the machine. It’s easy to adjust just like a domestic really xx
Thank you!

Hi there
No you can’t this is a walking foot machine only xx
Nais
Is this a Double feed or a Compound/triple feed walking foot machine?
Double feed not a compound feed
I know this is a cheap machine, but a decent manual would have been helpful. Does anyone know if there is one?
Not that I know of no. It’s all a bit trial and error

Some bonded nylon has arrived and it shredded! I've tried different size needles 17, 18, 19, 21, 23.

I love it. Great value and fantastic for the heavy duty stuff. I’m a bag maker and the machine easily goes through multiple layers of vinyl x
@@marievague9169 Thank you so much..I'm going to order it today..currently strugging with my juki mini xx
Hi can you tell me what the height the pressure foot lift to😀
It lifts 14mm with the knee lift
can anyone tell me if this machine can sew curtain linings together ok as I was told it will ruin the fabric, this machine is only good for upholstery and leather, and vinyl and the like, it won't cope with let's say dress fabric
You can adjust the presser feet tension and use smaller needles and thinner thread but would still not be advisable to sew thin fabric
