Thanks for doing this video, helped me decide this is the machine for me 😊

Hi, How do you do slightly slanted stitches on Jack sewing machines?
Bonjour. Génial vos vidéos sur le H2. Mille mercis de Belgique.
Have you adjusted the pressure on the walking foot at all. I’m getting marks on fabric. thanks
Hi marie . Great video . Can you tell me what the 2 square buttons are for under the arrows to the left and right . Also the red led light above the + symbol , dunno what i press to get it. I got no instructions given . Thanks #Edit: ok, been playing . The right square on right below the arrows is for switching between needle up or down finish, program is needle down, when pressed so red led on it switches to needle up. This is a great machine for price . Thanks for the fantastic videos you have provided.
You’re welcome Neil 👍 enjoy your new machine xx
I know this is old...but I just took delivery of a new H6 machine. It is awesome machine. 200spm is fast enough for me at the minute, but 8 layers of leather is no problem! Took me a little while to work out the threading route and the bobbin load but thanks to your videos it suddenly became clear! Thankyou 😊
Thanks so much. I'm in the UK about to buy the machine from Tysew. Thread??? Where do you get yours please? I see Empress Mills have 40's bonded nylon and 36s Polycore with lots of colours and smaller reels available. Appreciate any help x
Hi just found this video. Just wonder are you pleased with this machine? Do you make bags with it? Thank you
Hi there I still love my H2 and yes I use for bagmaking. Not good for general sewing I have other machines for that. But for bagmaking it’s fantastic 👍
Your videos have been a great help, thank you. Got my machine yesterday, manual is shocking! 🙈 This is my first indistrial machine so felt like a deer caught in headlights!
Do glad they were helpful 👍❤️ just take it slowly you will be absolutely fine xx
Hi Could u help My stitching is very loose and getting bunched up. Don’t know what to do as instructions in Chinese! I have turned the lower grey tension reel both to the right and left and not making any difference Help?????? Thanks
As a newbie you have been a godsend 😊thank you
many thanks for your video. Could you tell me at what minimum speed the machine can sew. I know that it goes from 200 to 2000. but on some videos we see that we can go down to 100. Is this possible? Thank you very much 👍
Hi there I will check when I get home but I’m sure it’s 200 👍
@@marievague9169 I am attaching a link to a RUclips video ajustements speed☺️ ruclips.net/video/ZdMrXBe8O7M/видео.html. Thanks
@@marievague9169получилось у вас снизить скорость до 100? У меня немного другое меню и нет режима p-00. Подскажите пожалуйста
Hi Marie. Many thanks for posting your videos. I want a machine to sew jersey AND see leather and sheepskin. Am I in the 2 machine category too? Thanks. I was considering the Jack A2 and F4 or H2. I don’t make to sell so not volume. Just altering and hobby
Hi moira Yeah if you buy the H2 you will be in the 2 machine category. The A2 and F4 are ok with lighter fabrics but not as capable as the H2 with leather and sheepskin. I don’t honestly think there is 1 machine that satisfactorily do both. If you predominantly see jersey have you thought of an overlocker/serger. If I sew jersey I use an overlocker I never use a conventional machine to sew jersey. Hope this helps x
Hi Marie thanks for the upload////quick question ( how good is still going the h2 after two years of use¿)
Hi Ryan The H2 is still a fantastic machine I love it. No regrets whatsoever at buying it x
Спасибо!!! Очень полезное видео для меня!!
Thanks for your videos Marie! My one is coming on Thursday (also from Tysew). I’m a bit nervous about putting it together when it first comes (as in ‘building’ it!). Now you’ve had it for a couple of years, are you happy with it?
Hi Daniel I still absolutely love my Jack. It’s a great machine you won’t be disappointed. Don’t worry about building it it’s already built for you. Take a photo of how the machine is threaded when it arrives that way you can always look back at them if you’re unsure of the threading. Also don’t remove the plastic ties that are attached to the rear of the walking foot mechanism these attach the wick to the arms that keep everything oiled 👍 happy sewing x
@@marievague9169 thanks so much! X
they're great machines.
I know this is a cheap machine, but a decent manual would have been helpful. Does anyone know if there is one?
Not that I know of no. It’s all a bit trial and error
Just working through your videos which are so helpful. I don’t yet own this machine but tested one today. Regarding the needle up down feature, you just need to press the needle symbol to change the up/down position. I’m sure you’ve discovered this as I see the video was 2 yrs ago, but it may help someone. 😊
great video. it is very helpfull. today I bought Jack 2060G. I love also Jack H2. both are great sewing machines. I think I'll receive my 2060 after two weeks. I got also two extra foot from the seller. An right foot and An left foot.
I’ve got a jack f4 industrial machine will these instructions apply to that as well.
Hi I'm currently looking at getting this machine for bag making how wide is the walking foot? Is it narrow enough for sewing zippers? Thank you your videos have been so helpful!
Hi There It’s a great machine for bagmaking. The foot is fine for no5 zips but a bit wide for smaller no 3 zips. I bought a different foot from eBay which has a narrower left or right side. I very rarely need to use it though xx
Hi Marie, I would just like to say thank you for your video series on setting up the Jack H2. I have just bought the H5 from Tysew and they were super helpful with video calls on WhatsApp when we got stuck with the assembly. It’s a shame there are no instructions it would just add to their customer service 😂 you’re right there is precious little on the web about these machines so your videos were priceless to me. How are you getting on with it? Do you still love it? I am at the point of putting the oil in and plugging in for the first time. Love it so far. Many thanks again xx 😊
Tell me why so slow sew? 🤔
You can chose speed as you wish
very boring report🤔
Hi Marie. I just wanted to know if you're still happy with your Jack? I'm looking at purchasing one, and I've enjoyed your videos. 😊🇦🇺
Hi Shari I love it 🥰 it’s a great machine. You won’t be disappointed 👍 xx
@@marievague9169 Thanks for that!
Did you buyed by zaw from poland at ebay?
Was yours fully constructed? Or did you have to put it together please?x I'm considering getting this one.x
It was fully set up 👍 fantastic xx
@@marievague9169 ah OK, I was thinking of getting mine flat-packed as it will need to be constructed in the room it is going in, I rang tysew but the person who answered the phone wasn't much help when I asked what would I need to do to put it together! I might try them again.x
I would ring them. You will definitely need instruction from them to construct it correctly xx
@@marievague9169 thank you, my partner is very handy, so I'm sure he would be fine doing it, but you never know!x
It’s not so much the physical setting up of the table and putting the machine in. It’s making sure the machine setting are correct which is not as easy as you think xx
Hi Marie, I recently bought the same machine and I have trouble with using it. My bobbin thread doesn't appear on stitches. It's always loose and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Could you please assist
does it have needle postion ?
It does yes. Works with either foot pedal or a button 👍
Thank you
I recently purchased my Jack. Thank you for posting, fantastic help🙌👍😎
That’s great. Happy sewing 👍
Couldn't get mine to move below stitch length 4. The suggestion to press the reverse worked for me and I can get down to 2.5 stitch length.
How do i adjust the lever that hold the needle, it hitting screw when it moves back up
Hey Marie, how's your experience of this machine now you've had it for a while. Thanks for the information.
I absolutely love this machine it’s great. The more you use it the better as you get used to tension settings and what fabrics work and which don’t. I would definitely recommend the machine 👍
Hi Marie hope you are well! I decided to buy this machine and it's been perfect. Thanks for your advice 😁. Have you got any tips regarding oiling and greasing the machine? Thanks 😁👍
Awesome videos, thank you so much!
Thenk
Thank you very much !!!
Bought mine from Tysew too. 👍
Brilliant videos! I wondered whether you can give advice re altering the tension, my tension seems to be too tight even when I alter it to the loosest setting. I end up with the knob coming off completely? Thanks Jane
I can see you are enthusiastic about the machine but you need someone to help you video so you can zoom into the parts that you are showing. I could hardly see anything as your hand was in the way😩. I am going to buy this machine next month.
Hi. Does the foot pedal need to be pressed for the 1 stitch button to work?
Hi John no it doesn’t just press the button and one half a stitch is made. If the needle is up initially it will put the needle down and vice versa. If you put the foot on the pedal the machine will see continuously until you take your foot off xx
@@marievague9169 thanks Marie. I think my brand new machine is faulty then. I have to put pressure on the pedal for the button to work.
Oh no that’s not good. If you put your foot on the pedal does it not sew continuously?
@@marievague9169 yes it sews continuously. But the button that does needle up/down 1 stitch at a time doesn’t do anything with foot off the foot pedal. £659 down the drain.
I’m sure it can be sorted it may just be the setting you have it on. Turn off the machine turn back on then before you put your foot on the pedal try the button. Does it work now?
Thanks for the great videos, they have been really helpful. I received my Jack H2 CZ last night and the store who were supposed to set it up and give me a free lesson decided to leave the machine at my front door because " there's too many stairs in my house". I did warn him about this beforehand. Anyway, I have picked up a few other things from various videos etc. On my machine I can rock the pedal backwards and it lifts the needle. And, when my machine was delivered the knee lift didn't work. There is a mushroom shaped plunger that goes into the sump that completes the linkage for the knee lift, they remove it for shipping. Thanks again for the great videos!
Thank you so much! Your videos are very helpful.
I love your videos. They have been an amazing help. My only suggestion, is to put what step your doing in the head in ;ie threading. That way they are easy to reference to when looking up your videos and the parts needed
So handy. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome 😍 happy sewing !!
I cannot tell you how helpful Marie has been to me. I haven’t used an Industrial machine before and I was so glad that I could look at Maria's videos. I have had a few problems with my machine, as in I keep getting the E 08 error!!!!!! I cannot believe its so hard to rectify. I couldn't turn the wheel it was just stuck, I ask my brother-in law to try to move it and even he couldn’t move it!!!. So I thought I would try to undo the bobbin holder but we couldn't move that either, so in the end I put a long screw drive through one of the holes on the wheel and just used leverage to move it, and it worked!!!. I cannot believe its so hard. But the first time this E008 error came up I asked Maria about it, and eventually we got it sorted. But what I didn't realise was that Maria was on holiday, but she still helped me. She is a lovely kind person , and her video's are so helpful and take the worry out of using an Industrial machine for the first time. She is brilliant. I am so glad I can put a comment on here, I couldn't see how to do it before. X
Thank you so much for your lovely comments ❤️ I’m more than happy to help anytime xxxx you’ve made my day 😘
