My daughter introduced me to Steinsgate because of my love for Doctor Who and because of my general weirdness. I am older, but I reflected that I could have used a series like this when I was young. When I wanted to stay up all night talking philosophy and free will and determinism. But alas, there was no one in my circle of social contacts who would have tolerated it. So I took steps to own the weirdness, and ultimately take it underground subtly, quietly as is my nature.
