Their crime? Daring to speak out against identity politics and racism being pushed on their children.
As a public educator I applaud these parents for having the courage to stand against the "woke" craziness that has infected our education system and society in general. I WILL NOT be teaching CRT in my classroom, I can tell you that. They can fire me!
God bless you... and imagine the people that will call you a “racist” for ignoring skin color and treating people by the content of their character. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills when these woke liberals talk their garbage.

unfortunately doing this isn't an option for a lot of single parent hard working families out there. I know that if this stuff was happening when I was younger, my mother wouldnt have been able to homeschool me because she was the only one providing for us both.

Recently in Australia we had a school “youth worker”, tell white men that they can’t stand during the national anthem and that they had to bow to the woman and PoC. Luckily one of the girls spoke out to her parents telling them that she felt disgusted at the way they were treated and the next day they had hundreds of parents at the front of the school protesting. It’s really only the loud minority that believe in this shit, once the silent majority find out what is going on they fight back. Unfortunately the silent majority won’t live forever and we need to protect our kids from becoming like these insane leftists.

There is not opportunity for everyone, but I agree with them going against CRT. Had people I knew in high places in wallstreet the race does matter, and even to the point of what kind of tribe or clan it goes absolutely deep.
I don't like the belittling of race in America, because it's absolutely important, but making anyone feel bad for the past is fine only if it's their family bloodline that was doing wrong. God punished all from Dad Adams mistakes and this is why im not against that. However one thing people need to know is that if you celebrate what your race did that is awesome then you must also mourn those your race have tormented, because you can't accept the good and forget the bad, which is why God cursed all from Adam to us today because of what Adam did, and we also get woman because of what Adam desired.
CRT in this climate is absolutely wrong, because everyone have yet to understand that if you love the accomplishments your race has done you can't be so fast to destroy the Ungoodly past as well. They both must be accepted, but if you don't care about being your race and don't love your races past accomplishments then you are void of this, but everyone love their race and tends to pull inspiration from there own races past accomplishments.
Basically I don't like it in our current climate, and shouldn't be forced upon the young, but should we have a discussion about this absolutely.

I’m in a completely blue state, work for the education system and a parent in the same district. I hold back so much because I love my job,
But I don’t agree with a lot of what happens in the education system. I feel stuck. I want to go to these meetings so bad and fight like hell, but also want to keep my job. Love seeing parents all across the country stand up to these school boards.

The vote came up at the end of the meeting and the superintendent said they weren't changing anything and then nobody discussed anything that was brought up during the public comment portion. They had their minds made up already, and didn't care what the parents thought or presented.

I remember there used to be a program where other countries wrote their history in other languages and trade with another country. So to keep history unedited. To compare histories. I feel like students are going to start being home-schooled or enter private school thanks to "CRT". As a person who goes to private school, where rules are taken seriously and manner is greatly appreciated, I feel like it's such a great thing and shape us better.

I’m a substitute teacher and Way before BLM I told my wife I want to homeschool our children. I’m so happy we chose to do so.
Very smart. We do the same at my house. I've still had to make my kids do research because they were starting to parrot the left leaning crap they were hearing on the radio, and seeing on social media. Opened their eyes up real quick.

During this summer break, each and every parent should be looking in to alternatives to public schools. Several parents in my area organized with their neighbors to create a home school group and then pooled their money to hire a retired teacher to tutor / proctor part time.

Also, CRT doesn’t just simply bring awareness to racism. It teaches students that racism exists everywhere and that white people are bad, as well as people of color can’t make it in life because the system is bringing them down. CRT is arguably one of the worst ideas to ever be brought to the classroom. It’s destructive and racist by nature and is wholeheartedly regressive.

I would say those people who want their children to learn CRT should have a class designated to them. Those who dont, dont need to. I teach my nieces and nephews about the chicano history and how POC fought to get some rights and the history of their ancestors.

Perhaps parents in the neighborhood can and should get to know and be kind to one another, and start some kind of schooling group and organization where instead of all this stage 4 cancer shoved down children's throats at gunpoint , they are taught civics, science, history, shop classes, cursive handwriting, all the stuff that has been removed from public schools in the last 3 decades. And more importantly, to think for themselves, and to be proud of their heritage, and not judge oneself by the color of their skin. In fact at the rate we are going, parents are going to have to get together and stand up, if we as a free nation of law and order, pursuit of happiness, liberty and justice for all, is going to survive one more generation.

Took both my girls out of school early 2000s when the Rainbow curriculum was being force fed. We moved out of the state, home schooled and today they have both graduated from top private colleges with honors.

I am a teacher and I feel that CRT is a waste of valuable classroom time. We need to emphasize the teamwork that comes with patriotism, moral strength, and hard work. Unless I am able to teach correctly, I will not stand in a classroom. I also will never work for a principal who is disrespectful of parents. Parents are the first teachers of their children and hold full responsibility for their futures.
Time for home school or private, why send kids to a school that teaches their ideology!! Great job parents, tell them they are needed to teach math, science, history, not ethics or morals that belongs to the parents!!
