Wow, that was awesome to see for the first time, watching all of your excitedness, and facial reactions. So good. Miss Arellano was awesome the first time she was with them, and has just one-upped her performance each time....such a beautiful addition to the group. Would be nice if they offered her the position full time. Although it would be cool for their fifth spot to be rotating features.
I hadn’t thought about it until I heard you say it, but songs with distinct pauses or really abrupt cutoffs are some of my favorites. I think that breath does something to my brain & makes the whole song more epic when it comes back. Like in “Hallelujah” by PYX.
