Bon and mauvais are adjectives, they modify nouns: un bon ami, un experience mauvais. Bien and mal are adverbs, they modify verbs: je parle bien, j’ecoute mal.

I’m so happy to have found your channel! I’m in my 30’s, from America, and I have been studying French since I was in high school. I’ve been able to travel a few times and practice my French. I’m ready to dive into reading French books. Would you say these are good books for someone who isn’t fluent?
It might be a bit hard but you can give it a try!
You can also start with a book you have already read in English.

Bonjour Quinthy ! Juste une petite correction, en français on dit "j'ai treize ans" et non " je suis treize ans". C'est une erreur très fréquente. Bon courage dans ton apprentissage du français :)
Pour l'instant je lis les romans de James Bond, mais en français.
Desde ya te deseo lo mejor, en cuanto al repaso del idioma español.

Récemment, j'ai lu beaucoup de littérature française, mais maintenant je veux lire des romans avec un langage plus contemporain. J'ai donc commencé à lire Le jour des fourmis de Bernard Werber. C'est le premier roman de science-fiction que j'essaie en français. Il est trop tôt pour avoir un avis.
Do you think you could translate words that are a bit more complex? I feel like your videos are aimed at intermediate audiences yet the words you choose to translate are pretty basic (bonheur as opposed to antisèche for example). Besides that, I do love your channel, and have recommended it to lots of other people when they tell me they’re trying to learn french.

thank you for the amazing videos! just one thought, is it possible to have English AND French subtitles at the same time? because i can't understand french subtitles fully, that would be really helpful!
I prefer not to put it so I leave people the option to watch the video without subtitles. But I've heard there is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to do so, put the two languages at the same time.
the google chrome extension is called language learning with youtube :)

En général, on utilise cela dans le contexte de l'école, on utilise une antisèche pour tricher à un examen. C'est un document que l'on prépare à l'avance sur lequel on écrit les réponses aux questions de l'examen et qu'on cache dans ses affaires pour pouvoir regarder et tricher pendant l'examen :)

Why not keep it? 😂 Seriously, when I started my channel, I called it Daily French and then I saw that there was another channel named like that so I looked for another name and that's what I came up with :)
