My mother always looked around 20 years younger than her age. For example when she turned 60 she looked 40 and turning 80 she only looked 60 etc. However as soon as she turned "90" and only a month after her birthday, she aged 25 years in 6 months. It was unbelievable. And at 92 she looked 100. It was psychological. She said "I'm now 90 and about to die". That single thought in my opinion aged her massively.

I’ve reversed the effects of aging in myself. I eat closer to source and avoid processed foods foreign to my body. I avoid substance abuse as well since it isn’t a fundamental part of being a human being either. I also believe the mind plays a crucial role in the reversing of aging and don’t acknowledge the stereotypes that society has bestowed upon itself and continues to infect itself with. For example if someone my “age” complains and says I can’t do that anymore I’m too old. I might tell them that’s their problem if they want to believe that because I don’t. I disassociate myself with old minded people as well because I’m not going to have that “I can’t” mentality projected onto me. In other words if you’re “older” you’re probably going to preserve your youth better hanging out with younger more able minded people that aren’t treating you like you’re old.

We're on the same page. The only difference is I don't drink coffee, tea (including green tea), and alcohol and I feel good for my age as a 25 year old. I'm also shocked that someone who is 10 years younger than me is getting older than me. People keep asking my age a lot because they keep forgetting that I'm 25 years old. It's an experience that no one has been through before.
I start to hang out with younger people as young as 6 years old. Kids would tell me that I fit being a child. Kinda strange.
When I was about to turn 20, I lost my college friends because I'm getting younger than they are. I end up hanging out with younger generations in college. I'm not forcing myself to hang out with younger people it just kind of happen out of nowhere. I never graduated in college I dropped out because I'm too young to be in college.
Look, my height is 5'7 and I never shrunk to a kid's height I got a little taller though. There are parts of my body I was able to reverse its age a bit, I only claim this.

@@MyFirstHandle Idk know that we are on the same page. You went right into “the only difference is” and mention substance abuse/use, which I mentioned so idk how well you really read what I said but I really don’t care either way. Also, when I mentioned hanging out with younger people I was referring to young adults not 6 year olds. Personally my goals are about having a youthful spirit not such a childlike mind it’s the only demographic that understands me. That imo sounds like a step too far in the wrong direction.

@@asplmn Healthy proteins and fats. I believe in getting quality plant based fats such as from olive oil, nuts, avocados, etc. I use olive oil liberally. None of these videos really encompass everything I believe in. I’ve watched and read many things over the years and developed my own “program” based on trial and seeing how it makes me feel and perform. The anti fat campaign that started in the late 70’s and 80’s caused so much confusion to consumers and food producers just started stripping fat out of everything and adding sugar to make things taste better. Which I definitely don’t believe in. You can’t trust industry with “healthy” food when their objective is to really get you to buy more. The brain is made of fat and many say it’s the best food for it and I really don’t know why it wouldn’t be.

I feel great and really enjoy daily life. Importantly, fitness has allowed me to recover very fast from prostate removal, radiotherapy and open heart surgery (mitral valve repair) in the last 4 years. I was never an athletic or sporty person, so you can do this. If you have old injuries (eg from sports), consult an exercise physiologist for advice on how to exercise safely. If you are practiced at fasting, it doesn't "feel" like starving. In fact, you have a better idea about how your body is functioning based on your feelings. You know that hunger pains aren't really a problem. It's like getting sleepy in the afternoons, you expect hunger but have ways to push through (such as drinking water with electrolytes) the hunger pains. I've practiced fasting since I was 12 or 13 years old, and it takes a while to get used to, but once you're used to it, you look forward to that fasted feeling.
I equate fasting to doing endurance cardio activities. Longer you go, better you get at going longer.

People who say they don't want to live forever should still support this because you can always change your mind later but not if you're already dead. I have been saying this... longevity is our choice! If we want to sustain our health, we have to do something about it! This will start by knowing what supplies our body needs. Start by eating a balanced diet, quit vices, exercise regularly and take an NMN supplement. Mine is a 500mg per day, NMN by Vitruvin Nutrition. The goal should be to live longer while staying young and healthy. Sinclair believes that in the foreseeable future, it's possible for humans to live beyond 120 or even 150, without the frailty, diseases and disability we now associate with old age. See your result and tell the same experience.

The power of the mind is phenomenal, when it comes to aging. Example: Friends of mine had a dog. Absolutely bonkers. Ran around like a puppy till it died. It died at 20 years old. The thing was, no one mentioned to the dog it was old. No one explained to the dog it wasn't a good idea to chase seagulls down a very steep cliff at the beach. It fell and hurt itself and within two weeks died. If the 7 years to one human year is a rough calculation, the dog was circa 140 years old when it had this unfortunate incident. But no one had influenced the dog as to how it should feel, so it just kept going. As intelligent dogs go it was right down at the bottom of the IQ stratum, but its energy and utter joy of life was off the charts. This dog is my guru. I follow no other.

It also increases your production of thyroid hormone which can aid in digestion and speed up a slow metabolism. So I completely disagree with eating a low-fat diet. Often we make the same bad choices over and over again because we operate strictly from what we have learned. The important thing is to break your programming codes in order to make better stress free choices. Second, everyone carries unresolved anger from childhood injustices and we transfer that anger from the past to the present. This pattern must be broken by resolving the past anger with where it belongs. In the past. The idea is to become free of old programming codes which keep us from transforming into the present and living a more stress free life. In other words, you have to “own” this information in order to employ it. Does this make any sense?

    • @Firestorm12345678910
      @Firestorm12345678910 2 года назад +7

It's the ideology. If people in general don't have an immortalist ideology then trying to seriously reverse human aging will not happen (to put it another way progress will be snail slow). A readily available example to this is the Apollo space program with human astronauts on the moon. No matter how good and beneficial such human activity is (on paper at least) if a whole lot of people don't like doing that then it ain't happening. Another example is religions if a lot of people like a particular religion and therefore a particular god(s) then it is happening it becomes popular and mainstream and here to stay.
If society becomes immortalist then a lot of institutions of society will have to change with it.
Education has to change in order to reflect immortalist ideals. Religions will have to be heavily edited and brought at the very least up to 21st century materialistic standards (ie a sentient green blob alien from the sombrero galaxy could be eligible to become Pope of Rome or woman as equal to man in the Muslim religion...there is also gender fluidity so a lot of things to discuss in order to make changes and so on). So all this hinges on "if" people in general would like doing and participating in this (unless it is forced and then obviously dystopic).
For human beings "world building" is summed up with creating children as per evolutionary mandate. While some thinking (ie to color a coloring book and you can choose any color) is required in order to accomplish that it's basically the brain on autopilot. Immortality asks more from the brain since it has to imagine an immortalist future (it's pros and cons) in the first place.
It is also kind of a paradox. If both rich and poor the king and beggar becomes immortal all of a sudden then would they still retain their social status? There are of course counter arguments against immortalism/immortality but those usually end up arguing that death (for the human animal) is somehow/someway a good thing. I personally think that the good things outweigh all the bad things so why not just do it?

    • @Firestorm12345678910
      @Firestorm12345678910 2 года назад +5

@MrGriff305 You may have a good point.
Human beings are not so good at balancing their animal and intellectual natures. In the case with immortalism what needs to be the norm is that our intellectual nature has to have primacy over our primal (primate) nature. For instance you will be able to think (cognize) to yourself to wait to have children until say when you are 200 yrs old instead of just giving into an instinct built around a limited lifespan.
FYI I'm also thinking within limited and conservative terms here.Sure you could just GATTACA the world and create a bunch of Ubermench humans however we still don't have the.. finesse (and possibly into the far flung future as well) in order to not mess things up catastrophically when dealing with DNA and for other similar genetic code based life forms. There are different paths to immortality so this should not be viewed as some set back. Cryonics (a tech work in progress), Mind upload to digital cloud (terra incognita probably requires for us to find out how the "mind" works) and good ol' cyborgs (plus more that I may have missed). I'll take the clunky old fashioned immortality.
Later on (since everyone will still be around)
with the help of technology having lots of progeny won't really matter (unless in extreme cases where you wan't to have say 20+ children). Also Laws would definitely have to come into play and DNA based organic reproduction to be heavily regulated since the same tech will make it easier to have children (ie creating your own soccer team or private army of clones). In a deathist world that we find ourselves in all that do not matter yet because of death itself. The "exit" (one could argue that it's an easy exit) that death offers will be less readily available. However on the upside there will be more of transparency and accountability.

    • @NickyHelp

Reverse aging doesn’t mean pure immortality. The word immortality is sometimes used as an exaggeration and a saying, used in a way of saying you have an extended and very long life. Not that you can’t die in an accident or something.

I will say you can not only slow down aging but stop the body and/or cells from aging altogether! Your subconscious is aging your body bc your subconscious is programmed to that and it is also programmed in your cells! So since the mind controls the body then you need to tell mind & body or cells to regenerate back in how young you want your body to be. You want to look 21 then you tell you cells get younger or regenerate back to that time. If you want to look 24, 33 or 18 then you do the same by telling your cells to regenerate at that time of your youth or if you are at that age, say to your cells to stay at the year you are currently! Here is a trick, let’s say, your 44 years young now, go back to the time in your mind when were 21 which was the year 1999, pick a month if you like & pretend you are in that time era and tell your cells to get younger to that time of you being 21 & ask them to always stay that young. Your cells will remember that time & you should feel like a tingling in your body. I believe that is your cells regenerating. Maybe you don’t necessarily need to tell your cells to regenerate or get younger when you are thinking of that time because the cells will remember that time if that is your intention! But you can still ask your cells to feel more clear in your endeavor. Good luck 👍🏻

In fact TERT mutations, increase cancer rate (and cancer cells express it at higher rates than typical somatic cells). Aging at its core can be described first and foremost really as an inevitable interaction caused by the forces of entropy.

The video is interesting. As a science graduate I have been deeply thinking about any scientific process that would prevent aging since prevention is better than cure. Reversal of age would indeed be a tough process and instead the clock must be frozen in such a way that certain chemical or gene modification when administered by an animal or human at a relatively younger age must totally stop the aging irrespective of the years that run chronologically. That means that a 20 year and an 80 years old individual shall look the same by appearance. This may give rise to some other problems but however no senior must go to senior citizen homes because they can take care of themselves independently like their junior counter parts. This biological advancement would give new lease of life to all and the aging or age related ailments or old and aged appearance would be a thing of past.

So if red light therapy causes cell division, which the makers of the panels promote as a good thing, why would it not in fact actually be a bad thing as too much cell division or premature cell division is actually a sign of ageing?

    • @Sciencerely
      @Sciencerely  2 года назад +4

Great question - I guess it depends on the usage of red light therapy. If you treat it for wound healing it should not be an issue as you only apply it for a limited amount of time. I have also seen that some use it regularly for treating wrinkles but there is still scientific data missing to draw any conclusions (benefits or harms). I hope that answers your question!

Great video sir. I agree with the end part of the video I could see us all probably extending our lifespan like even pass 100 but as for stop aging entirely I don't see that happening. Especially since we all know that nothing last forever in this whole planet yet alone our universe. I think I'm fine with living even with aging, it's a part of life.

Since we seem to only be able to reduce aging, but not prevent death entirely, I wonder how dying by old age will be like for people who have reduced aging.
Will it just be the same as we know it, but just moved later on in time? Will death by old age be more comfortable for people who have reduced aging? Or will it feel the same as normal deaths by old age?

No drug or procedure comes without side effects or consequences.
At a molecular level slightly altering any balanced system causes downstream and upstream changes to other adjacent systems. Putting a finger in the processes responsible for cell senescence will most likely result in another problem. This could manifest at the organ level all the way down to small molecular systems responsible for tasks like receptor recycling.
The hopeful minds funding this research like Peter Thiel are probably over optimistic about the likely hood of finding a cut and dry solution within the next 100 years. As for the perspective of laboratory scientist who have spent years working on cancers and other molecular processes, they're much more skeptical that any immediate solution is on the horizon. I know this because it's what I've spent a portion of my career working on.

@@erikmccauley2088 True, but the fact that fixing old problems often breeds new problems has never stopped us from going through with the fixing of those old problems. Whatever issues arise from the medical forestalling of aging, we can address them as they are discovered and come up with solutions which will, in turn, fix those new problems too.

in the same 5 pound range BUT my body felt weak, it felt like it needed nourishment ,my skin looked poor and my eyes sight and memory was very poor and i dropped it.

Preserving our greatest minds sounds good at first glance but we must remember that every mind was raised in a certain time and society. Thomas A. Eddison, a genius inventor of the 19th century, refused to allow his music company to use electric recording over mechanical recording during the 1920s. He couldn't hear the increase in quality due to hearing problems, so he didn't deem it a necessary investment.
Thing is, it's dangerous to preserve even great human minds from a bygone age in positions of power. Many are set in their ways and necessary innovation often comes once a fresh generation with new ideas and ideals comes into their own.
There's a time for everything in life. Part of that is the realization that change is both necessary and inevitable, even if it means that one should step away from power and let others deal with making their legacy.

I come from a family where those on my father's side have a history of extreme longevity. For hundreds of years, if they made it past their youth and did not die of TB, they all lived to be over 100, with most making it to 108.
This includes a great great uncle of mine who smoked two packs and drank an entire bottle of whisky every day. He died shortly after his 100th birthday.
They all look much younger than they are, with those currently in their 80's looking and acting like people in their 60's. My 82-year-old great aunt still goes to the Canadian Rockies every year to ski black diamond runs.
My 79-year-old great uncle participates in MMA, works out 2 hours per day, and always does 120 slow controlled pull ups with perfect form every day.
    He looks like he's 49, not 79.
BTW, they are all tea drinkers and naturally fast because they simply don't care about food.

People often tell me that I don't look my age. So, I look and feel younger. Probably genetics helps. I also don't stress out or worry about life (or death either).
I love kayaking but not the slow boring stuff. We do whitewater! We go right into rapids and waterfalls (not really big ones like some of the pros) and if we get tipped over, we just roll up, lol. LOVE IT! I plan on doing that past 100. (If you want to check out some of our experiences, I'm at RUclips, TWO BROTHERS KAYAKING.
I do smoothies with fruit, raw honey, cinnamon, cocoa, turmeric, moringa, matcha, chia seed, spirulina, aloe berry juice, and sprouts (I grow my own broccoli, radish, clover, and alfalfa). I'm enjoying one right now.
I mostly eat salads (with my sprouts added), wraps from Subway, and grilled salmon seasoned for taste. Occasionally I might get Chinese (shrimp or sesame chicken).
Yesterday I used my chainsaw and tractor to carve up and move a large box-elder that fell over in my back yard. I supplement heating my home with firewood in winter. I get logs then cut and split it myself.
I turned in my tractor-trailer a month ago. Driving in Mass, NJ, NYC, etc. was getting too hectic and way too stressful. Enough of that. Instead, I took a position with a local trucking firm as a Driver/Instructor. Home daily by 15:30 and no OTR. Zero stress and I just let the students drive now and I just ride. Sweet! I plan on retirement in about three years.
So, thanks for the informative video. I very much interested in not aging and even REVERSING AGING!! Friggen' awesome!!

The release of this research is giving me some paranoia as my therapist would say. If anything promotes classism it would be anti aging meds. But before going that far what would the political, economic, implications be? Would the rich and the powerful want EVERYONE to live longer? What would a 7 billion population become? Population management has been done through disease, world war, purges, genocide. After the nuclear weapons, big pharma money machine, the political, practical, repercussions limited those methods. The elite are already very concerned about population control. Throughout history when wealth division of the people reached these levels there was populist revolution. When humans with money and power see science can essentially buy immortality will they want to share? I fear this research is far more advanced than presented here. This science has been researched for a very long time. There are governments that have no restriction on methods to experiment. You can be sure there are human experiments on prisoners. The brave new world is in the early stages but it is full speed ahead. The WEF, Davos, Globalists, are quite openly discussing their expectations for a future of unlimited political, economic control. We will own nothing and be happy. They will be our GODS. The immortals. Now that's paranoid.
