This is a great boot. The shoe is nice but I thought the heel fit was a bit loose. The variofix didn't quite work as well for me as it has on other Meindl shoes.
This boot however is brilliant. You could use this on a wide range of terrain and feel very comfortable. The flexibility and cushioning in the midsole is just right and it's got enough toeroom for most wearers, unlike many Italian boots.
It's an A rated boot but at the stiffer end such that it could fill in B duties for someone with strong feet and ankles. The quality of the construction is good and the design looks neat in my opinion.
