Hi. I spent many years working 24-hour shifts, so it's me. I'm the person wearing my makeup for 26 hours straight. Some of us have jobs with incredibly heinous schedules. I understand it's not the majority. But if you work in public service and still love makeup, long-wear makeup is truly wonderful.
I’m in a military family so I understand unusual work schedules better than the average bear 😅 Regardless of anyone’s job, the idea of wearing the same makeup for that many hours in a row is a nightmare from a skincare perspective, especially doing so regularly!
@clevername763 Yeah your situation is def understandable, makes sense but it's an exceptional case. That being said though, even though I work only during office hours myself. Not gonna lie I still want my base to be long lasting but with light to mid coverage.
That's where I actually struggle to find something that isn't a full beat coverage.
I think for most workers out there anything from 8-12 hours will do however that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be products out there for people with your difficult jobs❤.
You should be able to find something as you said that most likely should last for at least 20 hours without touch ups. Not sure if it exists though.
The longest lasting foundation I've ever worn stayed mostly in place for about somewhere between 16-18 hours (this was for a wedding).
But I did noticed that some setting sprays can add 2-3 houre of extra wear so maybe that could also be helpful.
I wish these brands would bring out some long lasting teary eye resisting concealers😂. I have very watery eyes, my base can survive extreme rain but not a few tear drops when the sun is blinding me...
@clevername763 I completely understand you. I work in emergency crisis services and work very long hours often & wear my makeup for long hours regularly.

Thank you for reminding everyone to wear separate sunscreen even if makeup has it. I just had a small Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from close to my nose, and I want to spread the awareness of always using a separate sunscreen.

Cover Girl changed the formula on their powder foundation that I've worn for decades and it was bad news bears. BUT, everything new that I've tried since the Coty buyout/change to cruelty free, I've loved, including the skincare.
The Coty buyout is bittersweet for me, because on the one hand I'm happy CoverGirl went cruelty free and has been innovating with a lot of great new products, but on the other hand, now I'm unable to purchase CG due to BlackRock and Vanguard Group being Coty's top shareholders. These two investment firms donate money to Israel, thus Coty-owned brands are on the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) list of companies to avoid during the ongoing Palestinian genocide.
Those blushes... chef's kiss 😘!! Oh I want to try temptation. I see it all the time at Walmart but it kinda scares me. Thank you for applying the mascara so up close and personal. I like to see that rather than from far away. Emily Noel swears by that foundation, as well. The Wet-n-Wild lip oils are very nice also. They came out this summer I believe.

Hi there - still looking for ingredients list online, but is the Rimmel fragranced? I seem to remember that's why I ditched their other products
It is 😢 not as strong as the Givenchy one I bought last year but it’s definitely got a perfume type smell unfortunately

Also, the deeper blush reminds me of the color I just got in the Nyx Butter Blush formula. I'm still learning how to apply it with how bright and pigmented it is 🤣
