Hey thanks I appreciate that! It’s been a slow process so far but it’s all adding up! Can’t wait to knock out some more work on it! Thanks for watching!
First of all: I like ya cut, G! That Camaro is starting to look better! I was listening to the video while prepping to do a loadout video for my airsoft channel. Great video as usual, and y’all have a wonderful day!
Got alittle bit of work done on it, can’t wait to start prepping it more for primer and paint! Glad you enjoyed it and excited to share the process with everyone! Hope you have a good day as well 😎🔥🤘🏻
Nice ride!!!!! I got a 79 Camaro Barn find about a months ago. Mine has the same rust hole on the lower front quarter.but it's missing a hood and spoiler 😊
I’m not 100% positive, but I don’t see why the z28 pans would be any different than the other camaro models. I’d assume they are the same.. thanks for watching
Great video I enjoyed ! As for your air shocks .. it may jus be the little rubber o rings are hard an brittle an cause leakage where your air lines go into the tee/ junction ..an into the shocks .. An I installed my air lines separate so I can pump them up separately in case the car has a lean one way more than the other as we all know older cars can lean like we do when we get older lol .. I also installed the air valves coming out the top two holes of the license plate .. easy to pump up an also holds the plate on at same time lol .. jus a little FYI lol .. I will be watching for the next videos ... cheers 👍
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it! And I was thinking it might be the rubber o rings on the air shocks, if that’s the case I can attempt to replace those! That was a good idea where you routed your airline on your license plate! Thanks for the tips and suggestions! Can’t wait to share the build process with y’all! See ya on the next upload!
@@thekehmcrew amazon sells a line kit that comes with a bunch of new o rings an new line an you can get it with the tee junction to pump both shocks at same time or you can get the kit that separates them singular to pump up .. good luck 👍
Thanks man glad you like it. I’m going for somewhere in the middle of a partial and full restoration. It’s not gonna be in terrible shape but it won’t be a full frame-off 100% perfect car either lol. Thanks for watching!
I’m looking to fix up the body, repaint, and clean up the interior first before anything engine wise! I may decide to upgrade to a 4bbl later on down the line! Been slacking on the uploads recently and it’s hard with the short winter daylight hours! So I hope to start back working on it again here soon! Thanks for watching!
u would love my place i have 3 z28's sitting been collection parts for about 4 years for the build i have just about everything i need for it. have a 4 inch stroke 454 with a 02xx trans and a t-10 4 speed with new clutch and fly wheel for the 454 one car came with new interior black. the one i am going to build is a 79 z28 rs t top has full options louver back window power windows and locks full gauge cluster so far i have no money in them and parts got all for free. i also have a lot of square body and 67/68 parts for pu left over from the rig i am working on
I have not heard that yet about about Rudy’s car.. that’s unfortunate. My Plymouth has air shocks.. I always have to pump them up, if they get too low I can’t drive it bc my tires will scrape the inside of the rear quarter panels. I’ll probably just end up replacing them on the camaro. Don’t feel like messing around with it too much or investing the time and money to change it to a new setup lol
Saw big chungus in the background, poor thing,no tranny, keep those rear rims they make the car pop,the air lines may need an o ring or spring for a new set of lines on amazon
big chungus has been in hibernation for months and it isn’t even winter yet 😢 we hope to have it back up here soon hopefully. And I’ll for sure be checking those rubber o rings and lines before I replace the shocks, that would save me a lot of hassle lol. Thanks for watching as always!
Love watching this project unfold.
Got lots more work to do, so there will be tons of videos on the way 🤘🏻
Restoration videos truly takes heart nd love
You got that right! It’s all about the passion, I take the time to make the little details count! It’ll show in the end! Thanks for watching!
great work dude i had 1979 camaro manual transmission back then beautiful model and your restoration is amazing

Do you know if the floor pan/foot pan
the same as the 79 z28 model ?
I’m not 100% positive, but I don’t see why the z28 pans would be any different than the other camaro models. I’d assume they are the same.. thanks for watching
Very nice find!!
Thanks rick, got alittle bit done to it in this video but can’t wait to start tearing deeper into it and start prepping it for primer and paint!

Sounds good to me, I’ll for sure have to look into that and check it out! Thanks again!
Do you have a video of removing the dash
Looks good, is this gonna be a full restoration or just a partial one?

Good job! Are you gunna keep the same carb?

Should be a fun project.
Absolutely! I’m excited to start tearing into it more! Especially to prep it for primer and paint!

Not a fan of the air shocks. Not sure if you heard Rudy had his go out the other day and almost hit the ground and did a lot of damage
