It's funny cause today, i was really missing you and thinking "it's been a while since we had a video from Amy, i hope she'll post soon" and you posted 2 hours later haha love that
I really love your videos, your vibe, you're such an inspiration, love you Amy
Thank you! 🦋😚😚 feel lucky to be in your thoughts
I feel like you’ve been leveling up so much recently. Such an inspiration 💖
thank you kween
Oh Amy, you crying about being sick made me start crying lol. I've hit a wall with chronic pain and driving around the country for doctors that will believe me. Thank you for being so open about everything, it's really helped me speak up when doctors ignore me.
You have no idea how much I missed you ughhhh ❤️❤️
Missed y’all 😚
Hi Amy! I was also experiencing UTI symptoms for months and everytime I went to get tested they didn’t find any bacteria. I kept going back and forth with my doctor, even getting a pelvic ultrasound, and they weren’t able to find anything. After talking to another doctor they suggested that I may have Interstitial Cystitis (IC), a bladder condition where my bladder will swell in reaction to certain foods, causing symptoms such as frequent urination, lower abdomen pain, bladder spasms, painful sex, etc. (all things I THOUGHT were a UTI). There’s no cure but some foods that trigger it are citrus, spice, caffeine- all things ai love :( For a few months I cut it out completely and now I am able to eat it in small doses. Ever since finding out I don’t really experience the UTI symptoms anymore. Hope this helps!
OMG yes!! I've had these UTI symptoms for the last two years without having any infection. Doctors checked everything and nothing seems to be wrong with my body. I realised that I have a pattern when it gets worse, always when I'm anxious and unwell mentally. It's almost a way that my body is telling me to ground myself and take care of myself a lot more. I also take D-manosse and drink loads of water :)
I hope she sees this comment to see if she has this. I wasn’t officially diagnosed but I experimented with by cutting out citrus, spice and caffeine and the pain went away. It sucked because they were such a large part of my diet ( I loved my water with hella lemon!) Same thing now, small doses are fine. I’m guessing it’s the acidity of those types of foods that trigger it?
I had the same issue! but I saw a specialist and he denied that I had IC. Acidic foods like orange juice and tomato sauce triggered it and even cranberry pills which I was taking daily because I always thought I had a uti, the cranberry pills were one of the worst triggers i used to cry myself to sleep in pain everynight and as soon as I stopped taking them the pain became way less severe. I honestly still think I must have IC despite my doctor saying otherwise. I even had a CT scan as well as a cystoscopy because the pain was so severe and no doctors could figure out what was wrong. My pharmacist thought I might have it just because of the meds my dr was prescribing me and she suggested I take prelief which you take before you have an acidic meal or drink, it reduces the acid which will help reduce the bladder pain. My pain has lessened a ton and seems almost nonexistent now especially after staying away from alcohol and cranberry supplements for over a year, I still have no idea what caused it, there's nothing worse than having ur doctor literally just give up on u because they cant find whats wrong.
missed you amy!! happy to hear what you’ve been up to and that you’re slowly getting better both mentally and physically. thank you for sharing once again, it’s always helpful for me as someone that lives alone and is going through life changes myself. and it’s certainly not taken for granted 🥰

omg amyyyy i miss you 😭 good to see u gurl 💃😘
Hi Amy! Hope you are doing well! 💕
WAAAAAAAAH!!! AMY! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I'M HAPPY NOW! 🥺
Hi Amy! I am a clinical microbiologist and I can explain some reasons why your urinalysis was negative for bacteria:
- Not all bacteria are reactive for nitrites on the dipstick/test strip. Sometimes other bacteria that naturally live in that region can cause UTIs and not show positive result. Some that come to mind are yeast for example.
- It is good that the kit include leukocytes (white blood cells) because if someone has a true infection the body will produce white blood cells and make the area feel inflamed.
- Sometimes if the urine can be contaminated with normal flora - which leads to misinterpretation.
- Some bacteria are just really bad at growing in the lab
In any case, thanks for making the video! I hope others will see how common actually UTI's are and will be encouraged to take care of their urogenital health. :)
really love you showed you making your appointment for UTI symptoms i feel like so many women are embarrassed when they have issues like that and don't want to talk about it, me being someone that's struggled with chronic bladder pain and other related issues that part of the vid made me feel less weird lol
I really needed a laugh today, and that drink spill put me in a better mood 😂 thanks amy ❤️❤️
third time watching this ! Still refreshing :) Thanks Amy i luv u
We missed you Ames 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Also, UTIs are very fucking painful and the part about them coming back after you think they’ve healed is super frustrating and annoying. I can completely understand. I’m pursuing medicine and this video gave me an idea of writing down personal reasons why medicine, as a field, is meaningful to me. And a lot of these personal reasons include being misdiagnosed and the pain that comes with it. Thank you so much, you’re a light in this world🥰🥰🥰✨✨✨✨
Hi gurl it's been a minute, I missed you so much and hopefully you and your family also friends are well 💕🤗 greetings from Jakarta Indonesia 🙏🏼
You didn't have to make miss you like that...made my night. I love youuuuuu. Hope you are better ❤❤❤
*doing better*
Missed you Amy 💛
I love the pink hair on you. I hope you are doing fine!💓
I was just gonna say you should learn NLP, TIME techniques, etc. so I’m SO glad you are! All the things under that umbrella are SO powerful! I’m certified and did two programs; I’d LOVE to talk to you about it (I PROMISE not to pitch or anything, just love seeing someone I’ve followed for years go down a similar path!)
Hi Amy,
I had frequent UTI symptoms that would be treated with rounds of antibiotics, but it would just come back shortly after. The tests would come back negative but they figured they would try them anyways to see if it made a difference. Doctors brought up the possibility of Interstitial Cystitis, but I later discovered that I had pelvic floor dysfunction. Might be worth looking into. Best of luck ❤️
A part of me wanted to reconnect and watch some of your videos and I'm back. hey Amy
Whenever I drop some food or liquids on my crotch, I just laugh and say “she must be hungry/thirsty!” Not even worth getting frustrated or mad over stuff like that anymore. Anger and stress causes premature aging.🤣
Lol she was v hungry that day for me then 😅
So true doing what u can to find the humour in the things that would usually just irritate u 😆
I went through something similar with chronic UTI's after many trials, errors, and antibiotics, it turned out the chiropractor figured out the problem. I needed an adjustment that was preventing my badder from fully emptying and the urine that remains in my bladder was causing repeated UTI's. That's not what I went to the chiropractor for that day but I'm glad I shared that detail because he was able to help. Maybe this could help you Amy.
missed those vlogs!!!
such a beautiful creature
The ending, starting with that cake 😍😍😍 lol now i want cake jajaja. Love the green button up @ the end ~ lovely color honestly
Love your hair looks awesome with your shirt
AMY I MISSED U SO MUCH OMGGGG
I also have been getting chronic UTIs for the past 8 years and antibotics only helped in the short term. I found that D-Mannose was a complete game changer!! I haven't had one in a long time and when I do, they are a lot less painful :) will check out the probiotics you mentionned, thank you Amy!
Thank you audrey!!
Antibiotics cause UTI's.. UTI's are a gut flora issue. 😪
We missed u Amy
missed you 🤧💓
Girl yesterday I was driving with a sprite in between my legs and I thought I felt a bug on my leg. My first reaction was to jerk my leg shut and sprite just exploded out of my cup and in my lap.. we all have our clumsy moments 🤦♀️😂 life
I missed you so much 💕💕💕☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️hi Amy 💕💕💕💕
You just deciding to take another bite of your food after spilling your drink was incredibly relatable lol
I missed you soo muuch :')
I just joined your text subscription , im so excited!
I've had UTI for years and then had surgery, whenever I have UTIish feelings, I go crazy. Wish you well. 😌
Girllll I had those same UTI symptoms and actually developed allergies to antibiotics because the drs put me on them so frequently. I saw a urogynecologist and found out I have interstitial cystitis!
Healing love with the Tao and cleaning up my diet to more raw and alive foods helped with ALL of my yoni issues.
I have had chronic utis/bladder infections all my life. Three years ago I had a health scare. It felt like I had a uti but the culture would come back negative for one. I spent months in pain until I referred myself to a urologist who told me I had urethaitis infection which doesnt usually show up on a culture unless it's done longer term for a week to 2 weeks.
Hi Amy, I also had a problem with frequent UTIs last year. If your doctor is just doing a regular urinalysis, there are certain (more rare) bacteria that won't show up on a urinalysis because they cannot be cultured, as they are too microscopic to be seen under a microscope and can only be detected with a different test called a PCR test that tests for the bacterial DNA. A Gynecologist or Urologist should be able to perform this test either through taking a urine sample or doing a swab and then running the PCR test on it. I hope this helps!
