He was paying attention to him all of the earlier parts of the test-he knew he hadn’t been lying previously.
Actually lie detectors are pointless little games. The guy who created them said only to use them for fun as they are not scientific or reliable. The fact that they are used by police and courts is a joke. Also as someone trained in reading micro expressions something that is scientific iris alba lied quite a few times and found it funny that he got away with it. Those machines are so stupid. The guy said it was a lie because if he didn’t it would make him look bad. That’s all there is too it.
If you believed even for a sec that this was the real deal and not just some stupid youtube show, you are the problem.

"Lie Detector" Tests are jokes, they don't actually "detect" lies, just changes in heart rate, resperation etc. It is up to the person administering the "test" to study the results and determine if anything was said falsely. It's pretty much a glorified guessing game. As long as you can learn to keep calm you can beat them every time lol.
It's a bit more complex than that though, it can be inaccurate sometimes but it's relatively trustworthy

Actually he’s right. They are very inaccurate. The guy who invented them did so as a toy or something for fun. He was very careful to say that they are not accurate and should only be used for entertainment purposes. It’s a joke when police tell someone they are arresting them because they failed a lie detector. Know your rights. You don’t even have to take one and they are more likely to screw you if you are nervous or have any kind of heart condition.
