      Was thinking the same. Makes me really angry. When Kabul fell I saw some channels putting up clips which shows the people they interviewed in Afghanistan and they took the clips down when realizing the danger, edited them and blurred the faces before reuploading the vidoes. It's not that hard...

Sad to see and but hats off and a moment of silence to all the people that has been in the war with a good heart trying to get peace. • @dvk7277
      @dvk7277 2 года назад +4

      I am not American but I would say part of it has to do with humanitarianism and global imagery in the face of a foreign crisis that the Americans help propagate.
      However the reason why America isn't helping their own people (much like other countries like Canada) in the same way has more to do with the level of Capitalism (Even if Americans would help other Americans out of poverty, dire straits etc there would be jealousy and hatred towards those that got free handouts while others work hard just to survive pay cheque to pay cheque) and Socialism (just not enough Americans -the people- willing to help out other Americans). So basically too much Capitalism, not enough Socialism. Just my opinion though.

    • @28ebdh3udnav
      @28ebdh3udnav 2 года назад +1

      @@dvk7277 that's nothing to do with socialism or capitalism. My issue is that the same people who help the Afghan refugees escape, is willing not willing to help veterans here. • @dvk7277
      @dvk7277 2 года назад +2

      @@28ebdh3udnav. Well I think you nailed it then. Its bureaucracy, too much government. Basically the right person has to investigate the process and streamline it. You just need the right person(s) to do it i guess. Canada is similar, in fact they do it on purpose to weed out potential fraudsters who take advantage of large handouts claiming to have done service. Not sure how much of that is true but since I deal with fraudsters daily I can see people try to infiltrate these processes.

    Imagine what Afghanistan would look like right now if everyone who fled just stayed there and contributed to the fight against the Taliban. The US should have just armed every man ,woman and child so they could have protected themselves from tyranny. The ANA could not protect the country themselves with the corrupt government leaders. The Taliban are welcome there by some tribes and city people so its not like they are complete outcasts so maybe they would have settled to control one or two cities and the people could have stayed in their own country. Very complicated situation but it was definitely handled wrong and the exit was a complete disaster. To the guy who said it was a mistake for the US to pull out I ask him; how long should of the US taxpayers supplied the security and fought a war that the people themselves were not willing to fight ? The US was not welcome in that land by the citizens but they did nothing to help themselves. The men did not fight for their mothers, sisters or daughters . The ones who were killed are totally dishonored by the ones standing around waiting to be saved by a foreign power. The US botched the exit but that doesn't excuse the 10 plus years that the men had to formulate and implement a strategy to save their country.

    Happy to see some of them managed to escape to new places. Their next steps after settling to a new country is to have a proper education starting from the main language, culture, communication, intercultural, religious studies provided that settle countries. then hope they will be adapting and living comfortably to their new home.

    Sure it was a mistake for the Americans to leave Afghanistan for you because you no longer get to live under the umbrella of comfort that the Americans provided, yet you and many like you weren't willing to stand up to the Taliban and sacrifice to provide that for yourselves. The American's mistake was thinking that the Afghans could eventually fight for a democratic, secure, and Taliban free Afganistan and maintain it on their own.

    Majority are meeting up with someone they know like a family member or friend. More family member(s) than friends. After they get situated from the plane ride. Afghan children will attend public school when they can. Working unsure but I have heard some refugees working already and all in the food industry.
