Had a 83 kw evolve since may averaging between 3.8 and 4.5 kwh efficiency superb interior great quality no frunk I'm sure I can live without that bit of a hard suspension set up but other than that love it far more kit than merc eqa for Same money no regrets at all
Thanks for your review as it’s helpful for ordinary folk looking to get a car. There was a definite thunk sound going over pot holes etc. Take it you wouldn’t swap your Tesla Y for it?
Thank you. I wouldn't but I did like it a lot. I just feel like it needs to be cheaper or offer way more range is it's going to take people like me away from the Tesla. It's a lovely car though.
A very good video. I was very interested in buying one but went for a BMW i4 M50 because I prefer a conventional car rather than a SUV. I particularly like the colour of the one you tested and it was good to see the rear wash wipe. Does the car have head up display because I find that helpful?
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Thanks. I like the look of the Genisis GV 60 but they don't take trade ins and I will probably wait for a C class Mercedes EV as long as it is 4 wheel drive and 0 to 60 in at least 5 seconds .
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Thanks, my car is just coming up to 2000 miles and will wait for news from Mercedes-Benz. I once used Wizzle and got an excellent price and Evans Halshaw gave me a good price on another car. Alan.
Never had a lease before and have just pulled the trigger on one of these under a salary sacrifice lease, with insurance, tyres, maintenance included. I'm going to miss the comfort of my 16 year old 410bhp Jag XF SV8, but the £2k savings a year will soften the blow.
I like the look of it Jim...and I haven't liked the look of a Nissan for, well, decades! It looks good on the interior too, but as you say it's up against great competition in its price/class. Shame they couldn't get it into the market for 4 or 5 grand less.
I could easily have ended up with one of these, but the Tesla Y won partly for the Supercharging network but also because they were the only things readily available on the scheme without big lead times (ulez deadline)
Of all the EVs available, I personally really liked the Nissan. I wanted the 4 wheel drive, but was put off by the price. I think that these will be brilliant as a 3 year old.
✅ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗼 : leaselo.co/notaguru-nissan-ariya Note: Since recording this, the starting price of Ariya is now from £39,645 thanks to the arrival of a new model (Ariya Engage) - uk.nissannews.com/en-GB/releases/nissan-ariya-more-choice-and-more-accessible-than-ever
If you’re happy with it that’s all that matters; personally I think it’s tough to justify when so much of the competition in this price category are significantly faster. As I said though, if it’s no big deal to you then no big drama. 👍
4 m/kWH is good for an EV of that size and weight. I think those struggling to achieve that have been driving around in sport mode or have a heavy right foot.

I have Nissan Ariya Eforce and agree with your review. It has power, comfort, it looks good and feels good.
👍
As ever, direct and honest. Keep up the good work Jim..👍👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks Jim great review 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

No head up display on this one Alan. i4 eh - nice!

there is a head up display but you need to fet the evolve or higher version.
I own one and I’m pretty satisfied with mine. And like said the fast charging speed needs improvement. 👍

Yeah that's a big change but I think you'll enjoy the car, just in a different way 👍

Definitely, at £5-£8k less it would be very popular I'm sure.

nissan can use tesla network as of march next year I was told

Me too, it's a great car.

Brilliantly video and great looking car but too expensive
It'd be much more compelling if it were 5-£10k less.
I really don't see the issue with the 130KW DC charge rate. That's plenty and the charging curve is very good.

I thought it was very decent, it's difficult to pin everything on the few days I was driving it though.
Now lease coming cheap the 4wd 300hp one looking a bargain
👍
I’ll keep my Kia Niro 3 2023 thanks
Ok 🤷🏻♂️
👏👏
Thanks James

Thanks Mate
Drives like a 2.2 ton brick ,
Harsh over potholes , lack of steering feel , nice interior , build quality
It really doesn’t
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru I like the build quality , space & lease price , but drove this & Renault Scenic , latter is a much nicer drive ..
I love my model 3 but don’t really want to give money to China or the Trump supporting Elon anymore… So as a replacement this is high on my list!
👌 I dare say it’s full of Chinese parts like most modern things
Another boring EV , does nothing for me Jim
👌
