Have you reviewed anything from Recycled Firefighter? He makes packs out of firehose, pretty cool line of products
Roaring gear products are cheaply made and copy Maxpediton
@@warlantactical they aren’t that cheap feeling. I was surprised
@@bajamike3803 there copies of Maxpediton there is a huge difference in quantity
@@warlantactical Both are made overseas but I’m saying the roaring fire stuff is not that cheap feeling. It’s a good bang for buck is all I meant
@@bajamike3803 i understand what you are saying i know the product as well buy i also use gear and Maxpedition has held up perfectly
Looks like a Maxpedition Gryfalcon!
The best thing about a sling bag like that is you can have the strap over your left shoulder leaving your right shoulder clear to shoulder your rifle. There's nothing I hate more than shooting whilst wearing a back pack and the strap getting in the way of the stock.
Those prices are incredible! I love the colors of the sling pack and it seems to be the perfect size for EDC. The price at this time is $47.99. Sold! Even though I'm retired there are certain items I carry with me everyday. I have gear from Roaring Fire that I love: (1) the coyote and green tool roll which serves as my collection pouch for most of my folding knives and (2) a 40L dry bag/backpack I use on kayaking trips. Great review, Sootch!
Thanks Alexander! Those Tool Roll Bags are the bomb!
Merry Christmas Sootch
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Love your channel thanks for your work
Thanks Saber! I really appreciate it.
Just saw this awesome video. You think you can contact them to reactivate the discount code? No longer working because it's been a year old now. Just asking.
Love the Roaring Fire bags. Great price, great quality. Love the tool bag and the fire kit pouch.
Got a sling pack and I love it! Thanks for the recommendation
I’m diggin that Slingshot and it’s 14 USD shipping to Canada! Thanks for the consistency and quality videos Don! God bless you and your family Merry Christmas
I wish a pack the size of the sling pack would come in a back pack style.
That Timber Wolf is a good looking pack. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for stopping by Brother!
The contrasting inner color makes it much easier to see/find items. Good thinking by the designers.
I have a very long torso, I'm 6 ft 3.
So I'm limited to what backpacks I can wear comfortably. I'd like to be able to use the timber wolf size backpack. Many reputable manufacturers (SOC, MAXPEDITION, CAMELBAK) make that size backpack. The waist strap sits across my upper rib cage just below my chest with that size backpack.
Always looking forward for the Bloopers.!
How many thought he was going to do something with those bricks?
(Trever) Me!
Lol! I should have put that in the bloopers!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Don. Stay safe and God bless. :)
Merry Christmas to you and yours Jeff!
Those are really nice bags
Well built and a nice design.
0:50 if you jumped over a creek, I would be convinced to buy this backpack :D
I had to mix it up a bit! lol! Next time : )
Was debating on a new backpack after I saw the price after your promo code I couldn't resist. Hopefully a good replacement for my Current 511 rush
great price for the pack , i was thinkin maybe $150 then i saw it was 60 , very impressed
Now I buy my first slingpack
Nice packs!
Kind of surprised there's no water bladder option. Bottles are fine but I prefer a bladder when I'm actually on the move.
Make a backpack version of the slingshot, offer a couple of different colors, with full clamshell opening..🤘💙
Good for a laptop bag? Big enough pouch to hold a 15 inch laptop?
I'll let you know when I get mine , I use a laptop in my EDC as a security technician and I'm hoping my laptop fits in well
So it’s budget version of Maxpedition?
Roaring Fire Gear is not made in the USA, but it's American-owned. Good company, great product!
WRONG!
@@PepeDeezNutz , yes, I was corrected by another commenter as well. It's a US-owned company but made in China. Thanks for setting me straight.
@@nmr3352 next time know the facts 1st
@@PepeDeezNutz , well, since you're so nice about it...
Made in Commie China where the Commie China virus is killing people worldwide! No way👎🙄!
Can you repost the how much ammo should you have voted
Please consider taking down the Roaring Fire Reviews. I'm still awaiting delivery that missed my birthday and it's extremely difficult to contact them via email and their website. It's a Chinese company and they promptly sent the sling bag but not the grey Timberwolf backpack, both of which I purchased on your review recommendation.
Nice!!
That slingshot in black ♥
looks like maxpedition bags/backpacks.
Where are these bags made??
At this price they must be made in China?
Yeah Sootch, where are these made? If their made in Commie China🙄👎.
So it’s a Maxpedition knock off.
@Johnny Nonya I own a few different things from Maxpedition.
@Johnny Nonya Yes. Troll.
@Johnny Nonya
He said he owned a few different things from maxpedition so, what’s your problem with his answer?
Where are these made?
Yes, where ARE they made? I checked the company website, and they seem mum as to where their products are made.
PS- The only means of contact info they provide is an Email! Comes across as real hinky. :-(
The packs are listed on Amazon and in the Q&A it states that these are made in China.
@@jaylarsen6080 Thank you for that sluethery. :-) Appreciated. I'd call it confirmed, despite Nancy's protestations to the contrary.
Where are these manufactured
In Commie China where the China virus originated.👎
What happened to maxpedition? Checks stopped?
Can't afford them
Maxpedition has never paid me a dime nor has Roaring Fire. I'm still a huge fan of Maxpedition but this is a more budget friendly option plus I review whatever I feel like reviewing. But either way, that was pretty rude.
Lol
Where is it made?
Earth?
China
@@nmr3352 time stamp?
You favorit product is MAXPEDITION.
I love Maxpedition.
@@SensiblePrepper meri cristmas , desde paraguay,SUR AMERICA. mi respeto y admiración a TU CANAL.. SENSIBLE PREPPER.. 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
At least this isn't $1500 like those binoculars
That "Y" harness was on another pack I had. One of the dumbest features I've ever seen.
a nice news is through of Jesuchrist you are saved believe in he for faith in your heart in the place where you are
he is the way to heaven read in the holy bible st john 14 : 6 , romans 10 : 13 , acts 4 : 12 🌺🍁🍂🙏
This is a rip off of DDT 🎒 backpacks. Buy from veteran own DDT made in 🇺🇸 instead. The DDT packs are tough as nails.
Which bag are you referring to?
@@NCHeel The pack shown is identical to my DDT 48hr pack i believe its called DDT assault pack. Its the same price to 59.99 I would go with DDT its rock solid. There sling pack is sweet to for edc comes with a universal holster.
Normally I would never disagree with you, but these packs, especially the grey one, are no good. That style of pack has a center of gravity too far back from your back, causes undue strain on the back. The sling, is better. The over reaching strap across down the front, is useless. A sure give away for a less than desirable design...
Theses are horrible bags, won't last longer than a year, specially if you are using it non stop. My 511 rush bag has lasted me for over 7 years no rips or tares
ive got 2 $10 bags from academy sports that have lasted 2 yrs , i use them every day , dont know how you have quality bags and tear em up that quick , not sayin they didnt fall apart on ya but dam
Are you speaking from experience? I doubt it.
7 years is nothing. I have bags 20+ years old
