A great looking bag and now I want one! This makes a ton of sense for a Jeep where you have very little space for storage and you don't want things loose. More tool reviews for sure. I've also very much enjoyed your most used and favorite tools. When you're a DIY guy it helps to know what the pro's really use from day to day and where you should invest and where you can skimp at Harbor Freight, etc. Thanks!
Eric the car guy, Eric the tool guy, Eric the hotrod guy, Eric the video guy, Eric the nice guy, Eric the teacher guy, Eric the fabrication guy, Eric the diagnostic guy, Eric the entertainment guy, Eric the fast guy. Eric the cool guy.
Very Nice Eric..Not to mention how you don't have to listen to the racket of clanking tools bouncing around in a box, especially in the car or truck.! Got something similar to that as a gift about 10 years ago. Had it sitting on a shelf and kinda forgot all about it until a spring cleaning act taken place many years later. Used it once to do a salvage yard run and realized how handy and Awesome this bag really was. Totally Regret not knocking the dust off of it years ago or better yet, not putting it to use when i first got it. Thanks for the review and stay dirty too. Cheers
It’s a tool for tools! These things are great. The smaller versions are used in the food manufacturing industry as tool kits for specific equipment or areas.
I actually want this now! I've already started growing my tool collection (wrenches, screwdrivers, and eventually some sockets), and I need something that would hold a lot of tools, yet, small enough for tight spaces, and this looks like the solution for me!
Ah, thanks for doing that review! I’ve been looking at that exact item and thought it looked as awesome as you reviewed it, but was hesitant to pull the trigger. Now I know my first impression was correct. That’s going in my truck and my RV. Carry on CarGuy!
I have been looking for one for years... I finally after 30 yrs wore out my vintage military issued tool roll as a AF mechanic it was so versatile and you could lay it out on the aircraft without damaging the skin. I hated carrying around a tool box one because you had to unload it to find anything but more important aircraft safety critical no tools left behind. Ordered mine this morning Thanks Brudda.....
Wow! I would have never guessed I would become emotional over a tool bag. The brought me some really nice memories. My father had something very similar in the 80's for his car. I thought they don't make tool bags any more. So nice! Yeah it fitted exactly in the spare tire. I was a young child when I was helping my father passing him the tools from a similar bag! WOW! It's unbelievable how emotional I got seeing your review!
Thank you! You brought some sweet childhood memories. Just spoke with my father (I now live in another country) after sending him the link to the video too. The one he had was made by my grandmother. He would always work on something on the car before holidays... maybe that's why memories are so strong, the excitement of the upcoming road trip... Funny how some things can touch such deep memories and feelings. Again thank you for this review! P.S. I will search for a bag like this, I really like it better than a tool box and it will always bring nice memories when I'll be using it, and when fixing something that broke anything that would cheer me(one) up is a desired thing.
Eric, thanks for the great review. Because of your review I purchased one, I absolutely LOVE it. It is so nice to take so many tools in one bag. I do need to find a nice socket organizer, I will probably just order some from Atlas 46.
It would be amazing to see you do more tool reviews! I’m a Honda/Acura enthusiast so that’s why I started watching, and subscribed to your channel a long time ago. Being I usually work on my car myself I would be amazing to see someone who is an actual trained mechanic give honest reviews on products as opposed to reading what could be falsified testimony on websites.
I need to get one of those, currently driving an SUV with a little bit of storage, and it would tuck nicely into one of my little cubby holes without it flying all over the place or having to strap it down.
Eric - that is really an awesome tool bag. I am an electrician and currently use a Craftsman bag, but it does not have all the individual pouches. I am definitely getting this bag. Thanks for the review and also for all you do for us automotive DIY'ers, and a huge fan of the Fairmont project. Watched all the original 82 vids along with the 3 newer ones. I was in horror when I saw the caption about the engine catching fire, awful glad you we're ok and the car itself.
Sweet bag Eric. Definitely be nice for the ole junk yard when you gotta do the ole pull and pay... Beats carrying a plastic box where the handle will most likely break when you’re out in the field roaming around looking for parts and such if need be... 👍👍👍
This is exactly what I've been looking for to carry tools in my Jeep WJ spare tire well. I was hoping the price would be about 1/2 of what it is, but quality costs... Thanks for the review!
Thanks for this review EricTheCarGuy, always get upset when I find myself adding and removing tools from a toolbox or bag. Usually end up misplacing some, having that bag would keep everything nicely tucked away from easy access. Shall look into purchasing one.
That’s a great idea , a lot of people have more than one of everything , so as well as the new or best tools you have in the toolbox , this would be great for having in the car with all the duplicate tools
I always carry a tool bag at the junkyard but my tools are always hanging out all over the place and I'm worried someone might nab one of my wrenches or what not. This seems like a practical solution. Thanks Eric!
Atlas 46!... Thank you Eric for giving these guys some love. I have a tool belt and vest setup from them and it is by far the best piece of gear I own. Is it cheap? No. But it's a buy it for life item for sure. Rock Solid construction with their stuff.
I have different playlists for various types of mechanic vids on my youtube and this is going in my tool wishlist playlist, thanks eric and ill be sure to use your link if/when i decide to buy it!
Tip from a backpacker here: try and give that cinch strap a bit of slack each time you unbuckle it. That’ll make it easier to reclip and then you can retighten.
I prefer canvas and fabric bags to portable steel or plastic boxes. I picked up a couple of canvas bags from HF on a whim and have been happy with them. Easier to carry and less punishing during a long day at the junkyard.
Was thinking about Pullapart.com when watching this review, but realized that they inspect my toolbox going in and out... This could be a pain for that reason
"Yes!" to tool reviews. Can think of a lot of times having the ability lay it flat and change shape would help in packing a trunk for space or convenience. And having it "laid out" on the ground next to you when you are having to make roadside and shade tree repairs. "I'll take a matching canvas ground cloth please..."
That's very compact but looks heavier than a MO-FO BRO!!! I guess it depends whats in it. It would also be good to help peeps like myself if I labeled the plastic bags with what sizes are in them (3/8, 1/2 etc). Great review Eric! Keep up the great work!
hah! Perfect, been looking for this sort of thing for the past few days, as iv lost literaly all my tools over the years, and on the look for storage to go with my new "set" im trying to put together! use this kind of thing for my fishing gear, and its perfect for use on the fly and storage
That's awesome. I just moved to an 20" Craftsman mechanics bag because it took up less space than a box but it's ungodly unorganized. Think I'll give this a try.
That pouch is much easier to carry around than a tool box, and I remember having to roll those around when we went to our satellite base and had to carry our own tools on the C-124, C-130, and C-141 aircraft. That was no easy job and we had to make sure we carried our Coors Beer onto the airplane first to make sure it got on there when going back to our home base. We had to work on the weapons system of the B-52's and needed many tools which was not at the base we went to.
I bought the older version of this bag a few years ago (doesn't have the wrench slots on the outside) and I absolutely love it! Looks like I may have to upgrade to this model soon!
i spent a lot of time debating on these kinds of tool rolls. i ended up settling on the pangolin tool roll from step 22. i was able to get two of the pangolin rolls for the price of one of those yorktown rolls from atlas. i just got them in but i am highly impressed with them and can't wait to get out and do some work with them.

Looks like a neater solution than the bucket that is bungee strapped in my trunk. But try and use the roll as a seat or step when working on something. Because when I need to find anything I have to dump it all out and sit on it digging for the 9/16” wrench...
I've been wanting a better way to carry my sockets and ratchets. This looks like a pretty good solution. I've ordered other products from Atlas 46, and their stuff is top-rate. Thanks for the video!
Looks like it would be better than a tool box in the way that you probably wont get any rattling noises when driving around, specially if you drive a car without a carpet. Thanks for sharing Eric!

Nothing better than an honest review froma honest guy who knows how to use his tools ty Eric !
Thanks!

Bloody genius bag. The only weak point is the plastic clip which can be easily replaced with a buckle👍👍👍
Thanks Eric. Been watching your videos for years now and you have saved me a fortune on labor costs. You da man!
I'm happy to help. Thanks for the comment!

Multi functional Utility tactical pouch for mechanic. come in cammo too, when you need sneak attack any mechanical breakdown problem in stealth.
yea. the problem wont see you with tools and be surprised when you start wrenching it
RL Agito LMAO good one
It’s a tool for tools!
These things are great. The smaller versions are used in the food manufacturing industry as tool kits for specific equipment or areas.
If the tool chest is the fire truck, that tool roll is the fire extinguisher!
Really enjoyed the review thank you Ezza

An unexpected reaction, but thank you.

Great tool review! I really missed this series of videos because you always show really interesting tools that I don't normally see.

You might find this useful. ruclips.net/video/DLwIPexJbDU/видео.html
I like it, the fact you bought it is even better not a paid ad. Well done some more Tool reviews are good to change things around.
As a college student trying to build my tool collection and car knowledge.. I think ima buy one. Thanks for showing us
Nice tool bag.....first one I have ever seen. You gave me a cool gift idea for the guys !
That and some baked goodies and they will follow you to the ends of the earth.
Thank you Eric for the tool review. I would love to see more!
I need to get one of those, currently driving an SUV with a little bit of storage, and it would tuck nicely into one of my little cubby holes without it flying all over the place or having to strap it down.
Yay!!! A tool review. They’re back. So excited.
That was so bad aces!! A lot better then my daily setup with tool bag in my trunk. I like how organized it is.
Please more tool reviews!!! Your reviews have been a great deal of help!
Keep on with the tool reviews, that is the main reason I became a subscriber.
tool reviews are always needed

Very cool, man. I like it. More tool reviews would be great too. I look forward to more of them. 😊
glad to see the tool reviews coming back!

yep.
Always looking for new/useful tools. Keep the reviews coming
I always carry a tool bag at the junkyard but my tools are always hanging out all over the place and I'm worried someone might nab one of my wrenches or what not. This seems like a practical solution. Thanks Eric!
Very neat!! Took reviews are great, so keep them up. That bag makes so much sense.
Atlas 46!... Thank you Eric for giving these guys some love. I have a tool belt and vest setup from them and it is by far the best piece of gear I own. Is it cheap? No. But it's a buy it for life item for sure. Rock Solid construction with their stuff.

TOOL REVIEWS ARE BACK!!!!! Yessssssssssssss
A multi-use tool storage. Keep bringing the COOL videos Eric.
that's an awesome tool roll, great size! looking for one for off roading...thanks Eric! been a subscriber for 8yrs or so.
Now that’s a sweet “to go” bag.
Bought one of the big yorktown bags because of this review. Fantastic. Thanks for the review.
Been considering a tool roll for all of my rigs.... I like the bright colors, less likely to forget them & drive off (hopefully!)
I missed your tool reviews. This are cool.
This is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks
I have always hated tool pouches, but this one......love it
Love the Jazz music, puts an uplifting mood to the video. (Plus I’m a jazz fan)
Any non mechanics like me who enjoy Eric's videos and couldn't care less about metric or standard but use trial and error until anything fits ;)
Wow! I really love that tool roll!
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend 👍
Thanks for showing you closing that zipper with both hands. I was going to live with so much angst if that wasn’t resolved
The best and most versatile tool bag every mechanic must have. It could also be useful for emergency purposes on vacation
thank you for reviewing this! I was trying to figure out which tool roll to get my hubby.
I saw that roll on Instagram, thank you for reviewing it. I'm thinking about getting one for a junkyard roll
I've been looking at that exact bag to replace my Klein tool bag for space saving on road trips. Now I suppose I have to get one. Thanks!
Tip from a backpacker here: try and give that cinch strap a bit of slack each time you unbuckle it. That’ll make it easier to reclip and then you can retighten.
Thanks!
That was pretty cool bag. Definitely do more tool reviews. Often times there tools out there that we have no idea exist. Such as Atlas 46.
I bought this because of this review. It is a GREAT tool bag!
Good job on the unpaid stuff! Glad you are back! Keep it coming!
Finaly a better review on this product. Great job!
Now that’s thinking outside the box-nice job innovative
This is what I've been waiting for to tote stuff on junkyard days, thank you!
Always liked that tool bags seemed to fit into trunks better when traveling.
I prefer canvas and fabric bags to portable steel or plastic boxes. I picked up a couple of canvas bags from HF on a whim and have been happy with them. Easier to carry and less punishing during a long day at the junkyard.
More tool reviews please. THANK YOU ERIC.
That would have been COOL to use in the Pull-A-Part Challenge, or for people who go to the salvage yard a lot.
My thoughts exactly. That's why I linked my salvage yard videos in the description.
For sure. Portable power!
Was thinking about Pullapart.com when watching this review, but realized that they inspect my toolbox going in and out... This could be a pain for that reason
Lol, that's funny. They do that here too. Luckily we know the place so they don't do that to us.
at least here the lkq junkyards want to see inside your toolbox before going in..... i wonder if they'd make me unzip all those pockets lol.
Outstanding. I'm in the market for a different toolbox for my pickup. I'm definitely getting one of these. Thanks for the review. Cheers
That's very compact but looks heavier than a MO-FO BRO!!! I guess it depends whats in it. It would also be good to help peeps like myself if I labeled the plastic bags with what sizes are in them (3/8, 1/2 etc). Great review Eric! Keep up the great work!
Oh man more tool reviews! I'm buying this right now. Thanks dude!!

Yes, more tool reviews please. Great job as always

I totally need this. 100%. Thanks for sharing this. Actually, I'd really need 2 or 3.
Loving this Eric! I'd really like you to do some more tool reviews in the near future if you can. Hope everything is going great!
This is perfect for me. I'm moving into a high top camper van soon and space is limited.
Tool reviews are back! YAY
That's nice. Looks like a great space saver too.

MORE TITLES THAN A BRITISH FAMILY
Great review, thanks Eric. I ordered one today.
I have learned to dislike tool boxes. This tool role seems like a nice alternative.
Thanks for sharing.
Looks like it would be better than a tool box in the way that you probably wont get any rattling noises when driving around, specially if you drive a car without a carpet.
Thanks for sharing Eric!
Exactly.
impressive, need one for my junkyard runs. has to be easier than 2 Milwaukee bags and a backpack full of tools.
I got one of these and it is awesome! I highly recommend it!
@ 4:21 -"its a pillow. its a pet! its a pillow pet!" lol. i want one of these now,
Feeling like a noob for not knowing about these till 2020. Thanks for the review bro.
That’s pretty cool. I’ve been getting into wrench wraps etc. for organization lately. I may have to add this to the collection.
This would be perfect to stash in your vehicle for unexpected breakdowns!
Yay a tool review! Definitely do more.
Impressive stuff!
Need to get me one of these, awesome concept! Thanx for a great vid Eric!
Your choice of music gives it that Mr Rogers flare.....lol I've debated purchasing that tool roll to organize my bag. It looks heavy duty.
Please do more tool reviews. Your reviews make decisions easier
