- Exclusive FATV footage from England's 2-2 draw with Switzerland.
England came from two goals down to earn a point against Switzerland in the final Euro 2012 qualifier of the season.
Two Tranquillo Barnetta free-kicks had given the Swiss a deserved two-goal lead, but a Frank Lampard penalty and an Ashley Young strike got the hosts back on level terms.
Darren Bent missed a great chance to seal the win late on, but, just hours after Pour Moi was delivered late to win The Derby at Epsom, England were unable to complete their own comeback and they now sit on eleven points from five Group G matches.

I don't like this because switzerlands goals are shown 2 times in similar angles, but englands goals are shown 5 or 6 times in good camera angles.

Finally! Good coverage! First half wasn't great but 2nd was much better. Feel bad for Bent but he really should have scored. We're still top of the group though :)
I don't see any problems in England's offence, it's only their defence. Ashley Cole is probably the most decent defender England's got, Glen Johnson almost never tracks back, Ferdinand and Terry wonders around the middle line a little too much. Offence is just superb, Wilshere is just excellent, he just lacks stamina. And they have talented strikers, I just wonder why Fabio chose off-form Bent instead of Defoe.

Joe Hart is a fantastic goalkeeper. Neither of the goals scored against us were his fault, but the defenders. Maybe he will turn out to be the best goalkeeper in the world?

Fact: The English national team misses David Beckham. There is not a single person on that team that can make crossing passes and create opportunities like Beckham does time after time. Why doesn't Capello see that? England disappoints time after time (see above video), and putting a veteran with proven results on the team would be a start.
If we had stuck to the similar team when we palyed Ghana we probably had a better result, i know we only drew against ghana but we had the peformance.

when the best two midfielders we have got are only lampard and gerrard, two players who just do the basics well (pass shoot) and nothing more then you can't expect to be dominating every game. These two are not even anywhere near scholes, let alone xavi, ineista, kaka, Messi, Ozil, Sneijder,ronaldo.
Darren Bent needed confidence to boost himself up. Hopefully he gets it and gets more chances so he can hopefully score lots.

@Dymitry95 We'll see in Euro 2012, England is in Russia's group.England's team has changed drastically recently with younger in-form players being introduced.The last 2 friendlies played with these youngsters resulted in wins for England over Spain & Sweden, and both played without Wayne Rooney.

It is nothing to do with Capello! When are people just going to stop blaming managers and instead start blaming our big name players for doing fuck all in games? In the past 4 years England have had 5 different managers and all of them have struggled to do well with this England team. Capello has won trophies every where he has been and is one of the most successful managers in the world. The manager can only manage the team but then it's up to the team to actually go out and play well!!

The only person to blame for this game is Milner. Joe Hart could nothing about either goal really, and everybody worked their arse off, especially Wilshere and Young,

@BobTheGamerUK Hart did nothing wrong. He made some very good saves after that. Ferdinand and Milner were to blame the most for their 2 goals. How can you even question Joe Hart? He's one of the greatest keepers in the world.

England were actually playing very well, but the finishing was awful.
We need to take a new and younger squad to Euro 2012 (Ie, players like Young,Walcott and Wilshere) if we were to qaulify! If we just take the usual, old squad with the players like Terry , lampard etc.. We'll just have another terrible football championship campaign (Similer to what we had in the 2010 world cup) All I can say is "I cant wait to see England drop the dinosaurs" (ie lampard and terry and Ashley Cole).
Can someone OTHER THAN a mad Italian please tell me why Bent plays over Defoe or even Crouch? Heck I'd play Lennon over him too

@cornydinho tbh, First goal was just unlucky, with a very lucky free-kick. Second one wasnt his fault at all.
Our league structure fucks over the national team, as long as players are required to play a ridiculous amount of games over such a short space of time they will always be burned out by the end of the season, it's not rocket science
