One tip that I humbly like to add is, expect bruises, pain and mistakes. This is not to let you fear the play but it's to let you know it's ok. It's ok to be hit hard sometimes or to get a wrong punch that is harder than it should be. It's a tough game so be tough. Tip two, leave you emotions out, all of them (partners) are brothers in the gym. Hard feelings are not allowed. Give him five and it's gone.
I have to disagree with that, I used to think this way when I first started I got good at boxing really quick, and 8 months in I decided to have MMA sparing with another beginner who has a wrestling background and hits very hard, up until this point I had boxing and kickboxing sparing sessions but not full on mma, we spared for a long time and I went home happy, but apparently I took too many shots to the head in the clinch, I sustained some brain damage, I'm not gonna get into that subject, but it's one of the scariest things that can happen to anyone, so if you're a beginner please don't be too tough for your own good. Floyd Mayweather says it best; the less you get hit the more you can last, so make it your number one priority not to get hit clean on the head.

One of the biggest things for myself, especially in kickboxing, is accepting that some movements will feel "wrong" and can make one feel silly. Disregard this feeling! Driving a car surely felt awkward at first.
I’m still having this problem with my left hook. My coach is telling me it’s damn near perfect but my elbow isn’t high enough. The problem comes that when I throw with my elbow higher it feels so robotic and stiff and slower. It just feels so much better to throw my hook with a little dip in the elbow. I know why he’s telling me to throw my hook like that but it just doesn’t feel better

I love it and I always have just have never done it in an organized fashion. I can say that I genuinely enjoy feeling the pain of a fight. Now I’m aware I’m gonna get my ass absolutely kicked my first time in the gym but I feel really pretty comfortable after training at home for a couple months. Can anyone give me any good reasons to join?
That has to be your choice man
Have you tried it out? People that feel that they can naturally fight have that confidence you need while fighting. It’s not really a sport, but a straight fight lol get a fighter with technique and great MMA mind you got a champ
@@brandonpina2205 yes sir I did go try it out and I love it. Was a good decision and that natural ambition to fight is most definitely still there. I recommend it to anyone. But I did start boxing instead of mma was what I enjoyed more.
hi coach,
do attacking opponent's body causes him bad breathing and fatigue ??
yes! It's widely known among boxers that body blows kill your opponent's energy
Brilliant advice thank you 💪🏻
Subscribed.
What if im not doing bodybuilding i just want to build a better body in a way that i wont get too big is that ok?i really dont wanna stop my weight training im a 14 yr old girl btw and planning on starting mma😊
Try training both for a couple of months, then just train MMA only (or MMA with not many strength training sessions) for a few months. Then you'll see if it works well for you.
I see any kind of strength training as a supplement for MMA.
@@MMACoach79 thank you so much! I will defenetly try what you said😁 also very excited to start training

I am late because I run a business so I just skip the class and go to the next one. Sucks but is what it is
Great
how long should i wait to train after neck injury?... from flying triangle smh :-(
That depends on the severity of the injury and how much you will be straining your neck. It is best to consult your doctor.
Can people join in MMA doing just training and workout if someone don't want to compete
Of course.
6:55 "Enjoy all the Hard Shits that MMA has to Offer" LOL XD HAHAHAHA!

What are you waiting for?

his ear check out, he knows what he is talking about .
I get comments about my ear a lot. At least people in the know don't think I'm sick or something. :)
Getting hit in the face is always a go to experience. Like, I could do without it. Do it when your young I say. Later, you"ll avoid it. One broken nose is enough. Unless life and limb is on the agenda, or loved ones, walk away. But be sure of this, you push it too far, oh zi might just destroy you. And i"m not talking nice stuff, like release my inner beast.
Before anything make sure you’re at a good gym and get health insurance lol
I don't know
I don't have a good mma gym near me
No junk 👍👍👍👍👍
Get stronger not to get bigger
iam to afraid to start, feels like everybody is going to laugh and judge me.

I'm 11 and out of shape and I need to lose weight to join kids mma
Or join MMA kids to lose weight? Diet changes are the most important.
