Found Louis Cole after he was mentioned during a brilliant improvised performance by beatbox legend Beardyman and ingenious freestyle rapper / drummer Harry Mack, who attended USC with Louis. That was an intense performance on a level with this one. Beardyman and Harry Mack are to their genres as Louis Cole is to his.

Yep, only now I find out it's the title track of his lates album, 'Quality Over Opinion'. . I read on a recent interview w/ him that some of the songs are from his ''reserve files', where song ideas that aren't fully developed or that he feels aren't working are filled away for later rework... I say definitely a great strategy, because the whole new album is awesome IMO. Incredibly varied in style yet totally LC.

A clear, modern sonic definition of 'Exhilaration'....Please correct me if I'm wrong, but sounds like tune that starts @ 34:00, which Kurt starts soloing over @ 35:23 has Coltrane Changes-like structure as its harmony basis, except the ii/V/Is are of different lengths/have differing harmonic rhythms. Haven't picked up my guitar to check it, though...anyone?
