    Awesome! Kudos to Mike at TacoMoto. He’s relentlessly pursuing the ultimate in performance for these bikes. I’m currently running the GET RX1 and am thrilled with it. But the new features of the SX1 are very tempting.

    Put mine in my 450RL last week and it’s such an AMAZING upgrade.
    Still running stock exhaust and will upgrade to Graves one day soon when I have the 💴
    Should have done it 7,000 miles ago.
    Good video. Had the same experience as you.
    Enjoy!

    Nice coverage!
    I'd like to try that ECU at some point on my 450L, I'm not too pleased with my Vortex. It is over 3 years old now and something seems off with it. Time for an upgrade.

    Anybody out there know if the wr450 is street legal in Nevada? If yes are the same mods available.

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Год назад +1

      I believe it can be made street-legal with lights, blinkers, and stuff like that fairly easy in NV.
      You could get one of these ecus and take it to a tuner.
      Bikes like that are not restricted to meet EPA regulations so they run much better out of the box.
      I think yamaha has their own ecu that uses your phone.
      People are doing the same with ktm xcw
      Its not a bad idea.

    I first put about 1500 miles on the stock ecu and then 10k miles on my vortex. I've been really happy with the vortex and couldn't imagine what would be improved by the GET. But everyone who has tried both seems to say the GET is way better. Is it really so much better that I could justify blowing another grand for one?

    I got the ecu and am having issues with overheating. the fan doesn't seem to kick on at all. have you tweaked the fan settings on the phone app?? if so, what settings are you running for the fan??

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  4 месяца назад

      Yes you can adjust the fan cut in and cut out settings but I left them the same as Tacomoto has them set.
      I let my bike idle for a few minutes and the fan kicks on.
      Exhaust is hot but my fans work.

    I’m running the AIM ECU with the stock exhaust and am very happy with it. I don’t feel like I need any more power with my skill or lack there of. My neighbors no doubt appreciate the stock exhaust.
    The only bummer is that the fuel mileage is pretty bad. I ran out of gas at 62.2 miles on the odometer the other day, with the stock tank. I might upgrade if it would help the mileage.

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Год назад

      Im getting close to 40 mpg.
      I use 3 gallon tank and I'm 100 miles with 2.5 gallons added back, but I'm not filling it all the way to the top either and I'm ripping everywhere. Im pretty sure I could get 120 miles out of my 3 gallon.

    I have a 2023 crf450r and haven’t found a get ecu for my bike, but I’m curious about the wifi mapping.. Do you run pre set maps or is it easy enough for a newb to make his own mapping adjustments? Can’t decide if this get is worth it over just getting a vortex with custom maps

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Год назад

      If you're after the most HP, you can get any of the 3 ECUs and take it to a local tuner and have them tune your bike, that's the easiest way to get the most HP for your bike.

      @@MobMoto I'm in Australia mate. I purchased the ECU locally which was pre-installed with Athena's own CRF450L maps. I took it to my local tuner to make sure it was running safely and to check the AFR's. It ran great with their maps but I had two custom maps flashed to fatten up the bottom 1/4 throttle to help me in the Aussie bush and when I get tired or I'm having a bad day 😉

      @@MobMoto for your information I have actually spoken with Taco Mike via email as my local supplier was unhelpful when I originally bought the ECU. Taco Mike was very helpfully and a true gentleman. Especially considering I'm in Australia and he doesn't really get anything out of it. He is an asset to the motorcycle industry! Tell him I said Hi and Thank You again if you ever see him 👍 (Turns out I have a generation one GET that doesn't show fuel usage etc. I'd love to get the new SX version but I don't have the money. The gen1 still works great so I'm still happy.) 👍👍
