The song was composed by a Vocaloid Producer named "Surii", not Ado herself btw.
I always love the "subscribe or i'll eat you" tunes at the end they're so freaking good and fit perfectly with the actual song xD

Finally some Readymade rep!! It’s such an underrated Ado song
It took a little bit for me to gather my thoughts on this one and I’ve had to fact check myself, make sure I make sense. I could be wrong but this seems like a different style than your normal style but...dang it fits so well. I love the sound of the song, I’m a sucker for non diatonic stuff and changing keys, but it fits your voice so well and just...wow! Some of the things you’ve done with your voice in this, the changing dynamics and timbres, and I can’t remember the term for it right now, but they sound like slower, more controlled trills, a lot in the refrain! Those sounded absolutely epic! I’m so impressed by the level of control you have in your voice! You can do so many things that I hope I can do one day too! This is another quality cover, can’t wait for the next one!

I’m conflicted on whether I should point out mistakes in the video now that Kyte is the one doing the subtitles XD But... I saw “died” when it should have been “dyed,” and the subtitles were inconsistent on the spelling of batter batter/batta batta. I had been listening to Readymade quite a bit until you announced that you were covering it. I stopped so I could wait until the *best* version of the song came out :) It was worth the wait! Your delivery of every single part was just perfect, and your lyrics were excellent. I know you had a lot of technical issues, but it turned out amazing! This has probably been one of my favorite English covers of a song in awhile, this song really spoke to me as well as the jazz really appealing to me, and the emotional lyrics and vocals both Ado and you put in have really meant a lot to me.
But what puts this cover in a special place in my heart are the baseball terms/quotes you sang with, it really brought a little lightheartedness to it and while still spoke deeply to me still make me smile every time.
I've heard another English cover and this is definitely my favorite. I can't say this is the best not because I don't think so but because of others but in my heart it's definitely the best for me. You capture the amount of emotion in Ado's voice perfectly and in English?! I'm astonished. I'm probably saving this song to my playlist along with the original aka The first English covered song in my playlist ^^

@@plutoniumdecay me too, i saved a bunch of his songs, i was looking for one the other day and was so confused why j couldn't find it, check the playlist i saved jt in and did a sigh of relief
this may be a lil oversharing, but i'm a trans singer and started testosterone at the beginning of this year and my voice has recently been doing all kinds of cracking boy-puberty stuff (its pretty embarrassing but all the guys in my choir know the pain, they had tween voice when they were twelve haha)
singing along to songs like this with men singing very high is excellent practice for me to get my high range back and practice flipping quickly into head voice and/or falsetto, especially songs i had muscle memory for from singing them frequently before my voice went crazy haha
so yeah i loved this already but now it serves as good vocal practice to help me use my high voice more! :)
