MPL will do just about anything under the sun except get a London Town and/or BTTE Deluxe set released. How many times are they expecting people to buy these over and over again? The deluxe sets have all come out in the last 15 years. We've gotten half-speed masters of those albums as well. And, this not being our first or second rodeo, we probably had many (if not all) of the original releases on cassette and/or CD and/or vinyl *and* the 1993 CD reissues.
I won't be buying these. They look beautiful, though. I'm putting that money toward the Beatles US Capitol releases this fall.
Come on, MPL - London Town and BTTE. This is a pretty big hole sitting between the 70s and 80s output for these sets.
I LOVE Japanese reissues. They made a lot from Queen also. In exactly replica mini Vinyl format.
Thanks for showing the 99 compared to the 24 release. Love the Japanese mini lp cd's. Great job on the video!
Hey, no problem. Thanks for watching the video...
McCartneys solo career is just a Legend on its own
Surprising there are no Apple labels on McCartney and Ram like the originals.
The reissues of those albums haven't had Apple logos for decades.
Not true - the McCartney CD in the 2022 McCartney I Ii Iii box has the Apple label.
All of these albums were released already in Super Deluxe Editions with extensive extras and bonus tracks, I am amazed why they would keep releasing the same product again.
Someone didn’t watch the video huh? He literally said they do it every 10 or so years when the old ones become rare or hard to find
The incurable OCD of collectors perhaps…
Seems like the only way we will get upgraded London Town/Back to the Egg discs is if we get a second batch of these Japanese discs from Venus and Mars through McCartney II.
like those booklets instead of the fold out paper lyrics
I just hope do all 18 of his albums and the rest of Wings up to McCartney 3
Given that these are the five albums so far re-issued as half-speed masters, I've wondered if in future they'll be releasing one of these CDs at the same time as each half-speed master.
Why do we need them
I don't. I'd like to see a big long box with all his 50 or so albums as CDs in the miniLP replicas format.
I love you so much! I recently just found your kislux and i’m in love!! Your videos are so fun and you energy is just MWAH! keep living your life
I was wondering why I saw this at Barnes & Noble today!
Oh jeez. Okay. My bad. Too many reissues to be sure of anything!
Why isn’t Venus & Mars in this collection and any news on when it would ever be released?
My mom bought one luxrul and she loves it. It had been there for over 3 years when she went out with it.
Nice, but I miss the Apple logo 🍏 And why did they leave out my favorite Venus and Mars? 💛❤
That will be in the next batch
Actual Japan versions don’t have K at the end of the catalogue number. All K versions are for European etc markets.
Interesting, although these are definitely all made in Japan.
I bought mine direct from Japan and no K in the cat. No….it was the same with recent Rolling Stones Japan mini LP CDs which incidentally were European production of discs and using different mixes to the actual Japanese version with the sleeve being imported from Japan..apparently!
SHM-CD's don't sound "better" when they have the same mastering but they are made from better quality material, so in theory they last longer. (no disc rot, etc .)
And in theory the laser can read them better.
I’m assuming the 1999 issues contain the 1993 remasters. Those remasters aren’t very highly regarded due to the amount of limiting used.
I think that is the case and you are correct. Excessive use of de-noising technology.
The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
