I had what I call a "last girl before I changed". She taught me to respect myself, my value, my needs, basically by denying all of the above. I had what I call a "last girl before I changed". She taught me to respect myself, my value, my needs, basically by denying all of the above. After her, my standards were put in place and I refused to budget on them.
Don't date a girl who is basically a prostitute who promises exclusivity, and that's her whole "value". After her, I dated VERY carefully for YEARS and eventually met a rational, interesting, caring and fantastic woman so I put a ring on her finger and life ever since has been very good. Between the "last girl before I changed" and my amazing wife, I dated and said NOPE to a lot of unrealistic idiot girls (not all, some few were very cool but it just wasn't a match).

@DJHart religion is different for those who didn’t experience it growing up positively...for those like me who did it’s less about the religion itself, and more about how it helps you cope with life. Sure, I believe in God and the gifts I believe go with it- but I also have more patience and self respect because of how I was raised with values taught in my religion.
