    Also after use the Pangaea hatch should you strain it until it’s not dripping anymore or do you want to substrate to be wet.

    If i have an 18 x 18 x 24 exo terra enclosure, do I have to remove the Male after breeding? Or can a male and female live happily together in a cage that size? Also thank you for the videos this really helped me learn a lot!

      Maybe but the male might keep trying to breed with the female. Idk tho I haven't ever bred before so I'm tryna learn lol

    Nice Dakotah. Good video. You were spot on with info. Only thing I caught was incubation days can be 60-120 (or more!) days. I actually had some eggs hatch at 48 days! But minor point! Good job.

    • @Dakotahblueexotics
      @Dakotahblueexotics  4 года назад +1

      Oh wow ive never had one hatch out that soon, good to know! What temps was the 48 day egg incubating at?

    • @SupremeGecko
      @SupremeGecko 4 года назад

      @@Dakotahblueexotics You really wanna know :) 82-83! I put about 20 or 30 aside to see what would happen. Most significant thing I found was smaller head structure at higher temps.

    How many times do you have to missed your Pangea hatch substrate once you have your eggs inside of it if it looks like it’s drying out do you spray it every time or is it OK after you make it the first time letting it sit in the 15 minutes of water and then drain out what is the best solution

    Couple of questions: do female cresties lay unfetilized eggs and when is breeding season and egg laying season?

  • @michaelross5674
    @michaelross5674 4 года назад

    I have a bio active cage she digs in substrate.. But i can tell when she lays because she is always in one spot besides eating at night but when she is on floor in tank for a day and cant see her i know she laid
