    I'll have to check it out. My phone now is slowly starting to die. It's actually quite surprising how difficult it can be to find a phone that has all of the components you want. It's like we're going backwards where you can't remove your own battery anymore, or add a micro sd for extra storage, or even have a regular wired headphones jack. It's crazy.

    • @tjmul3381
      @tjmul3381 Год назад +2

      It's not crazy. Look at the changes you've mentioned.... 'It's like we're going backwards...'
      The common theme to these changes is the need to spend more money rather than being able to work on it yourself or get the capabilities you want without addition costs. If you look at these changes from a (so-called) "free-market" capitalist's point of view, they make perfect sense. More Profit.

      @danmorgan3685 Год назад

      We aren't really going backwards. The companies are just producing inferior products and charging more. I like Motorola phones and bought my latest one like two years ago. The one I chose was the Stylus because it was the only model that hadn't been DOWNGRADED. They went from 1080p to 720p displays for example.

    I have a Blackview BV9800 Pro and it's an astonishingly good phone, especially for the price! It has the FLIR camera but was still only $320 USD shipped to my door, directly from Blackview. Unlike a lot of rugged phones with funky operating systems it uses whatever Android version you want to run and I've not found a single app that's not compatible. I had trouble with phones in the past not working with trail cam, endoscope, and scanner apps but this thing does it all flawlessly. I'm not a phone geek and don't know the specs but the display is amazing, graphics are smoother than any of my friend's phones.

      @@SurvivalRussia It's amazing who and what you can see thru vegetation with it. I've used FLIR cameras dyno tuning racecars in the past but this is the first one I've gotten to mess around with extensively and it's awesome! Turn on a light switch in your house and you can see the wires in the wall as they warm up. Point it at anything mechanical and you can see where the heat/friction is. Crazy cool and extremely useful.

    I've always wanted to ask simply because I've never seen you use any. I see you have pine or evergreen trees of different kinds. Any how we call it by many times and that's fatwood it's the resin Left over in knots in the tree after it's been dead even rotten it's an orange color,and smells like terpinine. It highly flammable and the best fire starter I've ever seen besides gasoline 😅

      We have so many Birch trees here, and the Birch bark is the best and fastest way to light a fire. Fatwood needs processing into sawdust as example. Anyway for lighting it with a ferro-rod. Birch bark lights right up.

    Maybe ok in Russia but hard to get repairers in the west to do a repair and offer a warranty on Blackview. This wouldn't be a problem except Blackview has poor quality control and absolutely useless customer service if you live outside of China. Try a Oukitel, or a Doogee v max with 22000mAh battery. Love your videos, all the best.

      You can forget Australia mate, we have the worst internet in the civilised world. You'll get 'No Service' in most places outside of the main cities. Upload speeds are as fast as smoke signals and downloads are not much better. Black spots is the new catch phrase for the National Broadband Network, (NBN) or as some of us call it Not Bloody Now.
      And before the trolls and Nationalists shoot their mouths off? I am in Sydney, cant even use twitch, too slow to upload.

      @@Lex-Hawthorn 🤣😂 I hear that. Scotland from Stirling/Dundee up is a hit or miss. Had no signal for a week and when I complained yet again they told me they were working on the masts.
      Been doing that for ten years I've been in the Highlands. Forget it if your out on a motorbike or in a car with satnav on. Thankfully I learned grid referencing in the army and can read and plot a map. To be honest never over the past decades I'd have thought I'd need a map.
      Norway had been terrible as well, Spain had been touch and go.
      France had been good as it's usually flat countryside.
      Pity, I'd absolutely love to fish in Australia. Have friends is Sydney.

    I recommend Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. BUT! You must put it in a propper protective case and use a protective screen cover. It can actually stay under water for a long time (without the case) and battery is 4500 mAh. If it is wet You wont be able to charge, but blow into charger port dry it for few minutes with warm air and You can charge. I bought this phone a year ago second hand and Im giving it some beating and a hard life. It works perfectly. I did buy it for 9000 PHP (150 EUR). Samsung will never fail You, just use S class Galaxy. You can use them under water if not deeper than 1,5 meters. iPhones are shit because they are overpriced. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE the best phone for a good price in 21st century.
