RBM makes fine products for rugged outdoor use. I watched your videos and purchased one of their umbrella models. That was the size I needed for four-season use with two grandchildren along. This model is A COTTAGE by comparison: a front room and a sleeping room depending upon one's needs. With proper access to functioning market towns, one could spend months living in this structure.

Those inflatables are AWESOME! We collect toys at Christmas for needy kids in town on the Fire Department and we have access to one. Great set up.

Nice way to collect water from the tent, but you should consider that the fabric can be delivered with some chemical protection. I love how you manage to get along under these conditions of yours, with a very strong and persistent attitude 🤗

Great video review Lars, that tent looks badass once inflated. I laughed at the sped up footage of your friend and you pumping away. Them flies remind me of what we called "green eyed mthr-fkrs" that we had in NB Canada. After an hour outside, your neck would be covered in blood from bites. It's funny how those flies are always in the most beautiful locations lol.

Going to start out with this, solar kit and a 1500w inverter and start over.
These tents are awsome.i would invest in a battery powered pump thow..lol.
Excellent home away from home.This is by far the best inflatable tents that I've see so far.I on the other hand have a military surplus (canvas) tent that holds up to 15 people with alot of bitching as it is a bear to put up.Thanks for sharing but would love to see your family and friends out at the secret spot
Ha ha, this tent does not go with your channel name…this is not surviving, this is the Taj Mahal of tents!
Let's say you get stuck on the Taiga in your vehicle foe a few days or week. That is a survival situation for sure. No matter if you have a stuck vehicle and food items. This tent will make things a whole lot better, but I get your point of course. On a side note, too may people have no idea about what "survival" is all about. They always think in "no equipment" situations which is nonsense.

No it does not. It takes about 3-4 minutes to inflate. If you can't do that, then it's best to just stay in the city. An electrical pump is absolutely not a must.
I swapped to a polycotton airtent for our annual camping holidays...love it

That's quite a tent! And so strong seeming for an inflatable. I like making my own camping gear, and one of the things on my (too long) list of gear ideas is a bivy sack with a couple inflatable tubes around the head to hold the material off my face. The trick is how to acquire or fabricate the tube and valves without too much specialized equipment. Been busy with other things lately, but this reminded me of it. Good stuff.
Also, love The Boss laying there beside the tent. Really makes him look HUGE next to it 😁
U.S.A. has something like that. It has it's own trailer to haul it. Get a scuba tank to help with inflation. The BOSS laying in the shade of the tent says it all.
I just ordered mine with inflatable toilet with the optional inflatable septic tank. I'm good to go

I gotta find a group of friends to do these kind of excursions with. Your videos always spark my wanderlust and inspire the love of the outdoors. Going alone is all good and well. But since I have no land, it would be even better to go with a group on private land. Not for intentions of being a mongrel, just getting out and finding the peace of solitude with good company.

i heard of a tent with concrete in the canvas and after you inflate it you spray it with water and its permanent. also i was watching an interview with Carl Jung recently and your accents sound really similar to me.

Of course it is possible to use an electrical pump if you want to.

Use a shop vac to inflate the tent....it would be up in 30secs
- I could use my shop vac for the garden, but I of course need to know how long it takes with the manual pump.
- Exercise is good for you and 3-4 min is not really that much. I mean, I work out about 2 hours every second or third day...

If the tent needs to be vehicle supported, may I suggest a 12 volt inflator? Not an air compressor...

how long did it take to inflate the thing?
It takes a bit less that 4 minutes. I have inflated the tent 3 times now while recording.
I looked it up on Amazon and that tent is over 2000$.

That thing is badass! You could live in that thing permanently if you had to i feel like. You need an air matress pump dude, not sure about there but theyre only a few bucks here and it has adapters for car cigarette lighter port, or connect to the battery. I use it for my inflatable boats.
It's not a problem to attach an electrical pump at all. I just don't have one lol

It will be interesting to see how this tent performs in deep cold winter conditions. Do you have a stove big enough to heat it given that it a single wall tent?
I don't think it's suitable for extreme cold weather camping. Mostly because of the inflatable pylons.
How much pumping does it take to inflate?
3 to 4 minutes. I inflated the tent three times now.

Did the tent come with the dead flies? Or did you add them yourself.
It was +33c that day. They flew into the tent and the heat killed them.
Seems like there should be an adaptor for a electric air pump to do the job
No adapter needed, just add an electrical pump if you want.

Yes. Before the war we had a good amount of hunters from abroad visiting.
