Cool concept but I feel like we missed the opportunity to utilise the stun and super fast slashing ability that the talon assassin robot has. I really want to see them implement into the game!!
I’ll have to look that up! Was that in Overwatch 1? 😂 I did try to work daggers and knives into Jack’s kit. It just came off more like a genji or kiriko attack and I’d already done that with another concept of mine in Mirage. So was trying something new with his attack and reverse attack capability. Have already done some Talon concepts and lore so again trying to be different and keeping clear from the regular with this particular one 🙈 But will be venturing back soon
all fun in games till Jack the ripper returns to king's row to create more chaos lmao jokes aside: in history. the fact that jack the ripper was never identified nor arrested for he's rein of terror and somehow vanished in 1888. jack becoming an evil time traveler makes sense and fits his style really well
Other than the Ultimate which I believe would feel REALLY bad (especially considering it affects allies as well}, the rest is PERFECT. Very well balanced imo. Sounds like a fun hero to play, particularly the time rip ability. Using that to support your's or others' dives as an escape tool would be really fun. The main weapon has a clever and unique mechanic, the pseudo-anti-nade ability is different, and wouldn't feel oppressive but still impactful. Well done again!

But considering most enemy teams these days can basically output 1000 damage in like 2 seconds, it just wasn't feasible to allow for the whole team to basically steam role theirs...so turned it more, Jack benefits only and depending on other players they can benefit with skill due to more time to counter abilities coming at them, sort of like a free for all. It seemed the balanced option 😆 Otherwise everyone would be on this vid complaining its too OP! 😅 Can't win really... HAHA.
Concept is alright, but the whole "time slow" is just an impossible feat to do in a competitive game. You're not going to slow the people outside the bubble, and you can't have 2 character states for every hero in the lobby. Impossible to do smoothly.
The server is tick based. And the server tracks player inputs to update the player state on the server. If a player is holding forward, the server receives an update to change their state from non-moving into moving, and on the next tick the player is now registered as moving. This applies to all movement, aim, effect and action states. A time slowing effect that "slows" a player can simply halve their aim and movement speed between ticks, creating the impression of a "slowed" state. It is not dissimilar to the already existing "hindered" status which slows and cripples movement and/or aim. tl;dr - 50% time bubble = (velocity + aim speed) / 2

AI can only do so much, which is a shame because your ideas are so cool! So If some quality character art I could do that for you. Yes I do, though only partially, the rest with the character design itself was all me and my semi rad editing/ drawing skills in photoshop 🥲 So thank you for calling it lackluster HAHA! 🤣🤣 The only full AI generated thing here was the future overwatch silhouette image, which the idea itself was kinda an afterthought while editing, so had to rush it to add it in. As it wasn't feasible to design 6 new character silhouettes and a future city from scratch for a few seconds of the video. Luckily I just do these concepts for fun and make no money from them. If I did I'd definitely be hiring an artist or fast-tracking my skills to eventually draw them fully myself. But also thank you!!!! Editing and ideas is definitely where I excel at! 😁😁 This is just the only way I can make my ideas so far. Do you charge for art designs? 😁

I think that is too much time thing that Jack the ripper thing in my eyes that you have copy tracer i that you need to put in more fear into he game play like for he ultimate abilities he makes the opponent to see me and he Teammate and i think that he loves better if you can't see him real face
I think you could try to get people to voice them instead. If you have friends you could request them to voice the stories. or if you have a discord server, ask the community if they would like to help voice your character instead of using ai. I'm not trying to ruin your fun of making concepts because I absolutely adore making concepts myself! Just the one issue with ai bothers me

@mito._ I'm familiar with ticks, been playing OSRS since 2007. Expecting Blizzard to do this is the impossible feat.
