    The 110 was faster than the hawker hurricane, with the later models having a top speed of 360mph. It would have made a fine ground attack aircraft.

    An interesting point for the FW190. Although superior in almost every respect. The radial engine was never intended for high altitude fighter work. Thus, a supercharger was never developed for it. It was superior to every Allied fighter below 25K feet. @bomber altitudes, no good. The engine couldn't breath well. Until the 190 Dora (Langnasser), w/its Juma V12. The 109 was better @high altitude. That's why they used/made so many of them throughout the war.
