Great video. Last time I made soup I chopped and froze a bag of the extra onion, celery and carrots instead of taking what I need and letting the rest rot in the fridge. Just clean and chop it all at once. This morning I was looking for something for dinner and just dumped it in the crock pot with some chicken and noodles for soup. So easy and now I don’t have to hit the grocery store at least for today. It sounds so obvious but it really just saved me money.
Hey lady! Here are some tips I learned and have passed down to my older teenagers. I grew up very close to my grandmother, who lived during the great depression. She taught me so many things about how to be frugal. She taught us how to always keep our "best clothes" new looking by taking them off immediately after church or any outings. I've done this my whole life. Did the same when my children were growing up. As soon as I get home from work, church, or any occasion, I immediately change into my old t-shirts, sweats, or the clothes I wear when I'm cleaning. I receive many compliments on my clothing..and you should see the looks I get from other women when I tell them, "Thank you. I've owned this dress, pant, top for 5 yrs". LOL. They are in shock. She also taught me how to stretch meat. If you add 1/2-1/4 cup of old fashion oatmeal to each pound of meat...it doubles your meat. I've been turning 2 lbs of ground chuck into 4 lbs for years. No one has been the wiser :)) I'm so grateful for that special time with my grandmother, and all the stories she shared on how they all survived financially during those times. Have a blessed weekend Kate with your little one. It goes by too fast!!
G I really like your frugal tips! Thanks for sharing on here. I will have to try adding oatmeal to ground beef. Do you add it a special way? My great aunt did the same thing with clothes. She would change into her old worn out clothing for around the house. I need to do that.
@@9lives587 No special way. What I do (you can adjst lbs by your family size/needs): I take a package of 5 lbs ground beef and will add anywhere from 1/4-1/2 cups of oatmeal per pound. Once I mix up the meat with my chosen seasonings, onions, and oatmeal.. I brown the ground beef like you normally would. I will now have close to 10lbs of ground beef. I will then make a couple meatloaf's and leave some for taco's. If I want to form hamburger patties, I set aside the meat after I mix it up...to add eggs, seasonings, etc. I will keep out what I'll be making for that evening and freeze the rest. Not only did I save on meat, but I have already made meals ready in the freezer. Hopes this helps :)

I absolutely LOVE the "hot mess" tip. Can I just say BRILLIANT?!? My best tip sounds boring, but saves me the most money. It's simply don't waste stuff. Don't waste food, cleaning supplies, beauty products, basically any consumable goods. Wasting things is literally just throwing money away. Another good tip is not to be suckered into what society dictates as "normal". In today's society, normal spending means being broke because the majority of people can't afford eating out everyday, Starbucks, brand new cars, high end clothing labels, and constant trips to the movies, concerts, clubs, etc. Society tells us we deserve those things and should indulge in them often, but that's simply not true. Instead we should invest in our family and wholesome relationships. Oh, and instead of wasting time and money "entertaining" ourselves, we should spend more time volunteering and helping those less fortunate to make a better world!

Oh, I have another one! To keep from being tempted to swing through fast food places or to pick up a pizza, I always add up how many times I'm actually paying for this $6.00 meal. 1. I pay for it the first time at the drive thru. 2. I pay for it again because I've already bought food for this meal at the grocery store. It's just at home and I know deep down that I'm just too lazy to go home and cook it.(This is where chopping veggies at the beginning of the week, remembering to take out meat from freezer, or dropping everything into a slow cooker before you leave comes in.) 3. If fast food/junk food becomes a habit, I'll have to pay a doctor to treat my high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc. 4. If these drive thru runs continue, I'll probably need to go buy larger clothes. (Another unnecessary hit to the pocketbook.) 5. Then those drive thru runs will cause me to have to sign on with one of those weight loss centers and possibly eat boxed food. Anyway, you get the point.

One of my favorite frugal tips: back when I lived where I needed a car, I planned my errands for all one day. I had a route figured out that I didn’t waste any gas and chose stores based on good quality products/prices as well as proximity to my route. This saved me time and money. I had separate lists for common items we bought at each including an aisle by aisle list of the grocery store we frequented. I had a “returns” bag in my coat closet so items with their recipes were staged and ready including library books that we had read. And......I kept a prep list in my planner for errands day that reminded me to take my wallet, phone, monies, return bag, lists, coupons, etc. This greatly decreased getting a few miles from home and having to go back bcz I forgot something. I know this sounds like a lot of work, but honestly, I built the route and lists as I noticed where I needed to go on a regular basis. Built my grocery lists by aisle by noting down on my grocery list what aisle I found items in while shopping. Then prep list was such a blessing to me and was a joy to develop to decrease my anxiety that I would leave something important at home. All of this saved me precious time and money. It also taught my children great life skills - I rarely did errands without them.
sadly aisle lists seem to be going by the wayside. Grocery stores have learned and they keep moving things around so the aisle lists only last 1-2 months now.

Frugal! I got to sleep with the fan on & in the winter a humidifier. Keep air fresh & moving & love the white noise. Love the lamp tip! My biggest frugal thing is enjoy being home. We are happy being home & eating our meals at home. Saves us lots of money too.
I need one of those lamps. My favorite items tip is to RUclips everything before you buy it. Get reviews on purchases and sometimes RUclipsrs have coupon codes specific to them. Saves me money and pays it forward to them for the info.
I go to thrift stores ect. I use crock pot or insta pot-thrift stores always have cook books with tons of easy recipes for these type pots. Also keeps heat out of house so less energy bill in summer. Our family members each keep an Amazon wishlist, so when someone is looking for a gift it’s an easy way to get gift ideas. You can even add items which aren’t on a Amazon using the “universal” wishlist feature. 👍
1. Make my daily coffee and take it to work. 2. Have a glass at work for water. 3. I don't buy individually wrapped anything. I'll buy bulk or regular items and grab one for lunch daily. Example: Chips, cookies, granola bars, oatmeal, vegetables, cheese, etc.
My good Habit I got into many years ago was pack everything up the night before. Pack my lunch, jacket, shoes, hat gloves if I needed them, Have everything ready to go for the morning. Even make my breakfast. SO I can grab everything and run out the door. My other thing I do , if I see something that needs to get done, like load dirty dishes, or toss the clothes in the was. Do it now and get it done. Don't put it off!
Hi Kate, Prugne here, I was that hot mess Mom, I understand where mom guilt comes from, it's a wonder my daughter survived her childhood. My daughter is however the most organized mom I know, don't know how that happened, I asked her one day how do you keep it all together? She said "I learned it from you".... She has 8 children, I had just her, she was an only child until she was 10. Two of her children are off to college, two are in the military, the other four are still in school. She has an eight is enough household of yours, mine and ours. Life is good. 🐝 P.S. love your channel, and especially love what you do for Kaden's Toys channel, what fun!!!
Hi Prugne! Love everything I just read. I would have cried when she said that to me! How wonderful! EIGHT CHILDREN? She is amazing! Does she watch Jordan Page at funcheaporfree? She is pregnant with twins right now (which will be babies 7 and 8!) She is SO organized also, she blows my mind with how she keeps everything together. She might just enjoy watching because people rarely have 8 these days! What a blessing. Oh thank you so much for checking out Kaden's Toys!!!!! He will be so happy!!!! Love reading your comments. I'm so glad you are here Prugne! -Kate
@@KateKaden , Thanks Kate, I will have her check out that site, one challenge she has is balancing her time, she is pulled in so many different directions, she works full time, her husband does the cooking, he will go to the store, these things help a lot. I did cry when she said that to me, I don't see how it is possible given how full her life is. Thanks for your nice words. Cheers, 🐝 P.S. You remind me a lot of her, she has a great positive attitude as well.
Thanks Kate, great advice. For Christmas I ask for my favourite shower gels and personal care items. I get so much that it lasts the whole year! I have another friend who keeps me in candles and when family come to stay over for the holiday they bring nibbles and sweets, so that I just have to buy groceries for the main meals. We don't have huge amounts left over as everyone takes home food with them when they leave and they don't have to cook once they get home. I never feel deprived as I always have gorgeous luxury items available that I wouldn't normally buy and the house is not full of useless clutter!
FRUGAL! I about died at the thought of your A/C tip. I live in South Georgia. A/C is not optional. Year round the A/C has to stay on! 😂 One year our A/C went out during the summer...within 2 hours of waiting on the repair man to come, the temperature inside had gotten up to 92 degrees. 🥵
Make your own coffee. Cook large batches of food.take what you need, break down, label, date, freeze the rest. Clean as you go. Buy a bunch of insulated lunch bags.label each with name, date. Pack lunches for the week. Have a set place for everything Keep whatever you normally take with you in your bag.have bag by door, ready to go. Metal water bottle? Freeze it for a few hours before filling. Instead of ice inside coolers, soak sponges, put into sandwich bags, freeze. No cleaning rags, but tons of ratty clothes? Get the scissors

I love the Walmart pickup. I place my order online but just what I need for that week or for two weeks pick a time to pickup go pickup they put it all in the car for you. I save so much money this way on food shopping cause I don’t see all the other sales items. Plus I don’t spend hours in the store or standing in the long check out lines. A must have in my budget frugal life
The fan, yes!!!! I got addicted to sleeping with it on when I worked midnight's. It was hard to sleep while everybody was up and moving. One of my friends suggested it to me, and it is a life saver. I also now have 3 daughters addicted to it, too. They are 9, 11, and 13. We hardly ever travell, and this summer we went to a great wolf lodge for 2 nights (with a groupon, of course). We actually looked up a RUclips video of fan noise and found one that played for 8 hours. Lol it worked but in the future we will bring our own.
We did a similar vacation through Groupon at a lodge in our state - waterpark etc... We had a huge queen suite with murphy bed and a kitchen and a spiral staircase to a loft with bunk beds... my kids loved it! Speaking of Groupon... when we travel and are going to be eating at restaurants, I look on Groupon for those "x dollars worth of food for x dollars" and buy the Groupon deal before we go. That way I know where we are going to eat and I have already gotten us a discount on our meals - this weekend we are going to Cleveland in honor of my daughter's dad who passed away this past April (my ex husband)... to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... we will be getting 20.00 worth of Mexican food for $12.00 and 50.00 worth of Japanese food for $31.00 thanks to Groupon. We are also staying two nights in the hotel for less than one night at the "regular" price thanks to Priceline.
Hey Kate, they had those lamps in a place we stayed at when we were on vaca! They are amazing! I never saw them before that! Thanks for all your tips. We all can use help, right?!?! Or at least a gentle reminder:)) Have a great day!!
Loved this!!!!! I need to stop being a hot mess, especially when my son starts school next month. Please make more videos like this. Lots of love to you & Karen xx
If I lived in the US I would coupon all day long! Lols. But, you're right - I usually ask for things that aren't essentials (like expensive candles) that I now I will use. So far this year, I haven't had to buy candles because my family have bought them for me for gifts! It is great for them as I am super fussy with presents as I am a minimalist :)
I am frugal...always have been and always will be! Now it’s combing frugality with minimalism....which they do go hand in hand. I’m a believer of waste not want not!
@@KateKaden my goal is to be as frugal or as close as I can to you! You are my inspiration! Thank you for responding. Look forward to see more of your videos.
All of your videos are great but this is the absolute best. My favorite frugal thing is the online grocery shopping so I don't buy everything in the store.
Loving this video, Kate! You are so helpful but also incredibly relatable and non-judgmental. I really appreciate that. As a family of just 3 (me, my husband and daughter), I especially relate to your tip of cooking a bit extra and freezing. I also totally verify the keep a fan in your bedroom tip! I live in Silicon Valley which gets hot in the Summers. We put fans in each of our bedrooms and run the regularly in the Summer in addition to opening windows at night when cool. Saves a lot of money on expensive AC bills :)
Also, I always keep a running wish list for my house, myself, my husband, and my kids. If anyone asks what we would like I give that list of ideas of varying prices and they pick from the list or give money so we can choose which item to put it towards

I had to get to that point to be like, no more. Haha why do we do that to ourselves. It’s ok to say no. Still working on the not feeling bad about saying no.
And the "splurge list" is a fantastic idea! I had a "no spend month" just now, and haven't bought anything off it yet. Might just keep it for Christmas 😁 THANK YOU!!
I just told my kids that I want a Disney gift card for my birthday in Oct. and for Christmas. We are going to Disney World in March. :) I stock pile these cards for our trips. LOL
yes, old house, barely any outlets AT ALL, plus the electricity is mostly gone...have to use battery-powered lights and candles in the kitchen and bathroom and attic. My daughter has one of those lamps with a USB charger built in, and it's been a life-saver, as three of our lights we use are rechargeable that way...we always have one plugged in charging!
Frugal! I was excited to even purchase a clock with the USB cord - 🙂 As a teacher I don't like to rely on just my phone's alarm, especially the first week of school.
As a single parent, organisation is my thing and I love achieving an organised day/week etc..definitely not a hot mess..yay me! Ooh favourite frugal tip ; I buy my veg and if any is left over (before it goes off lol) I wash, chop, parboil and freeze x
Omg - yes to the fan! I live in the California desert and summers my electric bill was over $700 a month. For the sleeping noise I paid for an app on my phone to play fan noises LOL. Then I got a fan to sleep and wowzers! Life changing. Then got a fan for the living room for watching tv, etc which kept the AC off much more as well. Now my summer bill is down to $400. It just runs if it’s set at 81 in the day 🥵.
I just stumbled across your video, then I liked it so much, that this is my second one. You are a breath of fresh air! I appreciate the fact that you tell the #truth, even though it is hard! I love your tough love approach! 😁
Love the wish list/ splurge list! My wish list changes through the year so I’m happy when I just put stuff on the list and didn’t buy it, cuz clearly I didn’t want it few months down the road. And if I still want it, then I can ask for it as a gift for Xmas or my bday.
I havent been sleeping well since i got kids too, Kate... once i told my mum that it is so hard dealing with kids... my mum told me that things will get better when they grow up... i said, really mum... are things better for you when we are all grown up? She just smiled... no... i dont think so... once we have kids... we start worrying & the worries will never go away...
This is a great frugality lifestyle makeover. Great tips. The planning ahead is pretty much the key to my entire life - I appreciate your bringing it front and center.
Yes, thank you! I watch other videos and feel less than because I don't plan meals. My child and I make balanced meals he loves, but sometimes that means yogurt, fruit and vegetables or scrambled eggs with canned carrots, or another veggie we love, that others would find to be a super weird combo.
My mother in love raised 9 kids on an enlisted soldier’s pay which was very little. She cooked 3 meals everyday. They ate a lot of beans and some other crazy stuff but she made biscuits and yeast rolls everyday. She made a great meal out of just about nothing. She made gravy at every meal as well.

Donna, it's one of my fav topics! Always come visit if you want to chat more! I'm so glad you are here!
Thx Kate! I tried to summarize:
1. Splurge list - tell fam friends if they ask
2. Drink water
3. Make xtra food
4. Keep a fan by the bed to cancel out noise so u dont wake to everythng
5. Learn to say no
6. Quit being a "hot mess"! Prepare!!
7. Make a budget
8. 10.00 Target lamp w side outlet for easy charging
My new fav frugal thing is gonna be eating "chaffles!! As well as try to shop thrifted
🌷🐦😇☕🍟👒🌾🏡🍮🌌🐑🌷
Oooh thank you!
Ooh I am doing this! My husband never knows what to get me I’ll pick from this splurge list!!!
Was built in 1899. I have very few outlets. I know your struggle 😉
My favorite frugal tip is eating at home and bringing leftovers for lunches
YASS! Great one!
Preparing the night before for the next day is definitely a stress reliever and life saver.
Right? My mornings are soooo hectic if I don't do it the night before:)
I can’t sleep without a fan on whatever the weather x
Heidi Hurn yasssss!!!
Heidi Hurn. I have to keep getting up to turn mine off and on because sometimes it starts to give me a cold. (I have an old fashioned fan with no remote. I got it for free, though)!
My husband is the same way.
Your grandmother lives upstairs? Would be great to see her in a video sometimes!
HA! She's not really into it, but maybe someday she'll get in there! I think she's in one of Kaden's Toys videos on his 4th birthday? :)
And your mom too! You guys seem so awesome!
Frugal! I got to sleep with the fan on & in the winter a humidifier. Keep air fresh & moving & love the white noise. Love the lamp tip! My biggest frugal thing is enjoy being home. We are happy being home & eating our meals at home. Saves us lots of money too.
YESSSSS!!!!!
I need one of those lamps. My favorite items tip is to RUclips everything before you buy it. Get reviews on purchases and sometimes RUclipsrs have coupon codes specific to them. Saves me money and pays it forward to them for the info.
Yes...always check reviews before buying. 🌞
I go to thrift stores ect. I use crock pot or insta pot-thrift stores always have cook books with tons of easy recipes for these type pots. Also keeps heat out of house so less energy bill in summer. These recipes are adaptable to your tastes and use cheaper cuts of meat well. They can reduce your busy time with meals being ready at end of day after coming home tired. Love your channel.
Hi Shiva Kat! Love this! Thank you so much for watching and sharing with us!
Frugal Friday 💜 When you said budget I changed the words from no business like show business in my head to 🎶 there's no budget like you're budget like you're budget I know 🎵 😂
Now that's music to my ears Sandra! :):):)
Yes,do a splurge list
Our family members each keep an Amazon wishlist, so when someone is looking for a gift it’s an easy way to get gift ideas. You can even add items which aren’t on a Amazon using the “universal” wishlist feature. 👍
Kate your amazing, your videos are so much fun and very helpful, thanks!
Frugal!!!! Always nice to see your videos . Have a beautiful day
monique monique thank you Monique! Have an awesome weekend!!!
Love all 3 of these Ana!!!
HECK YES!!!!!! The night before is EVERYTHING!!!
Hi Kate,
Prugne here, I was that hot mess Mom, I understand where mom guilt comes from, it's a wonder my daughter survived her childhood.
P.S. love your channel, and especially love what you do for Kaden's Toys channel, what fun!!!
-Kate
@@KateKaden ,
Thanks Kate, I will have her check out that site, one challenge she has is balancing her time, she is pulled in so many different directions, she works full time, her husband does the cooking, he will go to the store, these things help a lot. I did cry when she said that to me, I don't see how it is possible given how full her life is.
Thanks for your nice words. Cheers, 🐝
P.S. You remind me a lot of her, she has a great positive attitude as well.
like your expression, "the disease to please." Hadn't heard that before! I think a lot of us have that!!
TOTALLY! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!:)
Yes Mandy! Perfect!!!!!
FRUGAL! And I've learned so much from you!
Cheryl this makes me so happy!
Have a set place for everything
Keep whatever you normally take with you in your bag.have bag by door, ready to go.
Metal water bottle? Freeze it for a few hours before filling.
Instead of ice inside coolers, soak sponges, put into sandwich bags, freeze.
No cleaning rags, but tons of ratty clothes? Get the scissors
I really like the frozen sponge idea. Thankyou for sharing that. 😊
Great ones!
I love your frugal tips Kate! ❤️👍😁
Sloan Chessman thank you Sloan!!!!! I’ll keep em comin!
I can't wait until you have a book out!!! Ive been watching your videos the last few months when I found you and I think your wording and personally is just such a blessing. ♡ friends on RUclips...not in person but in heart. You're such a blessing for so many people. Thank you
Thank you so much Teoda! I’m so glad you are here!!!🥰🥰
Frugal.. love your advices thank you
I actually love all your videos. . Thank you for sharing so much of who you are and your tips and your encouraging words are inspiring. It is very refreshing that you just share what works for you without selling a program. You understand living on a budget and frugality. Thank you again. Looking forward to frugal fridays
Thank you so much Jillinda!!!!!! I'll see you next Friday!
A must have in my budget frugal life
Absolutely!
Yes I am doing this now. Saves me on time and the random buys I do from walking around the store
YESSSSS Bonny!!!
Absolutely!!!!!! Thank you so much! Have a great evening Jen!!!
Loved this!!!!! I need to stop being a hot mess, especially when my son starts school next month. Please make more videos like this. Lots of love to you & Karen xx
Karen, thank you so much for watching! Okay I will!!!
A minimalist!!! I LOVE IT!
My favorite is two. Using the envelopes system and doing a zero based budget is the other one I ❤️...😊😊😊
Frugal YES!
Kate you are such a great motivational speaker!
Thank you! ❤️
Thank you so much Dianne!
I am frugal...always have been and always will be! Now it’s combing frugality with minimalism....which they do go hand in hand. I’m a believer of waste not want not!
Yasss Terri!!!!!!! I’m so glad you are here! Merry Christmas!!!
FRUGAL!! Thanks for all the awesome tips😀
Hi Rebecca! Thank you so much for watching!
Just laying in front of a fan feels so good!
Heck yeah!
I like these Frugal living tips
I use a fan and also ear plugs when I sleep 😴. Great suggestions ! Love 💕 your channel !!!
Thank you Cheryl! That means so much to me!
"Ever since having a child I've become a light sleeper "
Amen, sister, amen. Here's praying our Mommy spidey senses someday calm down!
My youngest is 30, hasn't changed for me, sadly so!
They don´t. 😅
From all the frugal you tubers you are my favorite. Love your personality and honesty!
Keiry Resendiz ahhh! This means so much to me! Thank you soooo much!!!
@@KateKaden my goal is to be as frugal or as close as I can to you! You are my inspiration! Thank you for responding. Look forward to see more of your videos.
My birthday and Christmas is in the same month.
Omg . A fan - yes. Drowns out noise. Love it
All of your videos are great but this is the absolute best. My favorite frugal thing is the online grocery shopping so I don't buy everything in the store.
Thank you so much!!!!! And yes that is a great frugal habit! Definitely avoids overspending. Love it.
This comment means so much to me! THANK YOU GAELEN!!!!
Still very up to date Kate ! The saying no, the budget, and mealplanning changed my life
YASSS! Timeless:) :)
Also, I always keep a running wish list for my house, myself, my husband, and my kids. If anyone asks what we would like I give that list of ideas of varying prices and they pick from the list or give money so we can choose which item to put it towards
PERFECT!
Watch cooking videos, take classes, ask friends and family to teach you quick, easy, frugal meals. Our fave is turkey tacos.same as ground beef, just with ground turkey instead.

You are so welcome!!! HAPPY FRIDAY! Thank you for watching! Hope you caught this morning's vid!
Saving money is great but time and labor saving is just as important. Great tips
TOTALLY! I agree! :)
Candles are great for power outages.store in freezer.they last longer
rochelle thundercloud. Thanks. I never thought of freezing candles!
I did not know that! Thank you Rochelle!
lol I just discovered your channel & subscribed! love your sense of humour & your explanation of hot mess! I can’t stand people who are hot mess!
Love the light hair and makeup ☀️☀️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Drinking mostly water. Making coffee or tea at home and taking water bottles/ thermos with us.
FRUGAL In all fairness I do most of this and I'm still broke 💔 but I am debt free so i can't really complain. In college and I am not getting any debt from it. Love your videos.
Oooh Debt Free Destiny! That is huge! You're in college! I'm so glad you are watching these types of videos so early in life! You are going to be so prepared and set up for the future. I'm so glad you are here!
Frugal hugs from Sweden😀
Girl! You are so right. You can’t be everything to everyone. I’ve had lots of times feeling like the candle is burning at both ends cause I don’t want to disappoint anyone but....
Thank yo so much Rae for watching and sharing with us. So glad you are here.
I just told my kids that I want a Disney gift card for my birthday in Oct. and for Christmas. We are going to Disney World in March. :) I stock pile these cards for our trips. LOL
YESSSSS!!!
yes, old house, barely any outlets AT ALL, plus the electricity is mostly gone...have to use battery-powered lights and candles in the kitchen and bathroom and attic. My daughter has one of those lamps with a USB charger built in, and it's been a life-saver, as three of our lights we use are rechargeable that way...we always have one plugged in charging!
YES! THAT LAMP! It's SOOO awesome!
Love the way your cat keeps peeking in!
HAHAHAH!!!! He cracks me up:)
Of course we want a video about your splurges!!!
YOU GOT IT!!!!
I make coffee ☕️ every day and first thing in the morning..fill my tall glass with ice and water..sip.on it until its gone, and make another glass ❤
Frugal
I always use up things I buy ( lotion, candles, body wash, shampoo… ) even if I don’t love them.
Frugal! I was excited to even purchase a clock with the USB cord - 🙂 As a teacher I don't like to rely on just my phone's alarm, especially the first week of school.
Fun listening to this older video whilemaking vegie-cabbage soup!
AHH! LOVE IT! Thanks Judith!
I think this is your best video yet!! Heck yes to the fan! All these suggestions rock! Have a great weekend ❤️
Stephanie! Oh wow, that is so nice of you to say! Thank you so much!!!!!!
Just finding these videos now and have loved your channel for a few weeks! 😍 Ty for the great content
Denise thank you so much! Welcome to the family!
As a single parent, organisation is my thing and I love achieving an organised day/week etc..definitely not a hot mess..yay me!
Ooh favourite frugal tip ; I buy my veg and if any is left over (before it goes off lol) I wash, chop, parboil and freeze x
Love this!!!!
I made my over budget goal & put away about $450.00. 😄
Pamela!!! This is SO SO SO AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! GREAT GREAT GREAT SAVINGS!!!! WOOOHOOO!
Awesome
I just stumbled across your video, then I liked it so much, that this is my second one. You are a breath of fresh air! I appreciate the fact that you tell the #truth, even though it is hard! I love your tough love approach! 😁
Beth thank you so much🙏❤️ I’m so glad you are here!
Oh that lamp sounds awesome
thebestwillow love it!!!
Love the wish list/ splurge list! My wish list changes through the year so I’m happy when I just put stuff on the list and didn’t buy it, cuz clearly I didn’t want it few months down the road. And if I still want it, then I can ask for it as a gift for Xmas or my bday.
YASSS!!!!
TRUE STORY! Just different worries right? FOREVER:)
Amen! My house is 120 yrs old! Same challenge!
Ahhh! Yasss!!!!
Owning a Roku is my best frugal tip
I have a firestick and it's awesome! (I think it's the same idea.)
@@KateKaden Same idea but their youtube is strange

I gradually getting electric things fixed. Old house. So freeing to have things work!
HECK YES!!!:)
Awesome video. Thank You! Love your assertive voice. Will play your advice for my children as well.. ( ages 14, 17, 22, 24). Mom
can you post the video to living below your means.. it never popped up
This is a great frugality lifestyle makeover. Great tips. The planning ahead is pretty much the key to my entire life - I appreciate your bringing it front and center.
YESSSS!!!!!!! Thank you Amy!
I enjoy watching all your frugal videos
Thank you so much Sandygzz!!! I'll keep em coming! Really appreciate you watching!
Hi Kate 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽 I love my fan and the noise of it💜
Yes do that video.
Yes, thank you! I watch other videos and feel less than because I don't plan meals. My child and I make balanced meals he loves, but sometimes that means yogurt, fruit and vegetables or scrambled eggs with canned carrots, or another veggie we love, that others would find to be a super weird combo.
Heck yeah M k! I'm all about the weird combos!!! :)
Hi Lynn! Love this comment!
