Please go back to God & pray for new friends. Do not go back to people God has already shown you they do not wish you well. Don't. No matter how lonely you are. Pray for new friends who will benefit you. Also learn to be a good friend too. It's okay to forgive them but it's not right to go back to your old friendship state. I know the lady. Her name is AMAKA OFORDILE. She is a nurse and has such a kind heart. She had an accident in 2018 and was the only survivor. She has been bed-ridden since then. Her case is such a pathetic one.She is struggling to raise money for her treatment. I hope she finds help.

When you have a so called "best friend" who never visited you in your father's house, you were instrumental in her choice of a husband; you called everytime even when they were abroad to the point of finishing your credit, but she never calls nor chats, even when she returns home from abroad she never cared to visit with you even though you were in a house of your own right up to the point you lost your parent, she was the first to be informed, yet she never called most of the time to console nor come around to visit. Thank God my eyes were opened to realize I was giving too much but there was no reciprocating from her side, like I was just the house maid. So happy I left with no regrets.

Her reason was that the girl kept showing her properties she was acquiring but never bothered to solve her needs as friends, from that day I became skeptical of her, I didn’t like that she was envious of her friend’s success and I was afraid that if I became successful too she will become envious of me. I was the maid of honor for my best friend and she is doing soo well in her life in every aspect and im more than proud of her because everything shes getting she deserves!! She also went through her hard times and she is truly someone with a humble soul she has always been there for me whenever i needed someone so i would be a witch to ever envy her or wish her bad because she is truly the sister i wished for!! I will always be proud and celebrate her wins because her wins are my wins and she truly deserves it all because of the kind of person she is! I have also been betrayed by a close friend I considered to be very close to my heart and she did the unthinkable and i thank God he exposed her for who she truly is and removed her from my life with all the bad advice she gave me that ended me in ruins but i praise God that he is a merciful God and im now very weary of who i keep in my circle of friends. Infact i only have two friends now! Better for me to be honest
You are right Neze, I was had a very close friend who one day shared with me how she was unhappy with another friend of hers. Her reason was that the girl kept showing her properties she was acquiring but never bothered to solve her needs as friends, from that day I became skeptical of her, I didn’t like that she was envious of her friend’s success and I was afraid that if I became successful too she will become envious of me. One day she asked me for money to make her hair, i didn’t have issue with her asking but the manner and tone with which she did it was like saying you are waiting for me to ask first before you give. That day I just knew I can’t remain friends with her and I cut off. She kept trying to find out why I’m no longer close to her but there was no way I could tell her my reason, I just kept off
Know when to cut out the so called best friend. The red flag are demeaning you. Laughing in your face when you fail. Compete with you always even if there is nothing to compete about. Telling you that they could have boyfriend if the want to. If you buy a bicycle they go for car. People question your friendship. Run. Do not be afraid to end the relationship amicably. You will thank yourself later.

One has to be careful about whom one refers to as a bestie. What she did to that lady is total evil, thank God she is alive to share her experience. Those points you mentioned are so real, those set of people one should not associate with them. I know someone who always says negative things about people no matter how perfect they are, I called her out and she wanted to start that negatively with me immediately after I noticed that I ended the relationship. As a Christian, I've decided to have acquaintances than best friend(s) to protect my peace. I’m that type of friend but I have seen too much to ever totally trust a person like that! The one person that was my total bestie died of breast cancer in 1998 and I still miss her dearly.

She told the whole story in the video I watched on Mama Onicha page. She had a car accident and lost her pregnancy (I think twins). I contributed money to the account she posted for support but never got an acknowledgement of receipt. I hope it got to her.

You are very correct, I had I friend that always talked down on me even when others See's something good, moody when something good was about to come make way,and always looking for a way to body shame me even when am not fat,so I thought of all her reactions and decided to take a walk out of the so-called friendship.

Hmmmmm. My dear Neze, you have spoken so well. I will forever be grateful to my late mum of blessed memory. Like I've told you before, my mum was uneducated, but that woman had a wealth of wisdom. She was the one who taught my sister and I how to READ AND INTERPRET, be it positively or negatively"ANY" form of body language, facial expressions, spoken words of any kind, gestures, etc that anyone, and I mean ANYONE makes towards or around us. Be it a family member or not. And this has strongly helped us in choosing the people we call friends. And this is also the reason why I have so little friends cos i have dumped some a long time ago. I would rather be alone, than be surrounded by frenemies. I always advise people to read SIRACH 6:5-17 before actually considering someone your friend.
