Steaming is amazing. In the salon everyone gets either steamed or sit under the dryer. Steaming is amazing at opening up the hair shaft to help your conditioner penetrate deeper into the hair shaft which is super helpful for low porosity hair. Because low porosity has such a hard time letting water and product into the shaft of the hair. Also protein based masks are great because the inner cortex of the hair can get weakened when there isn’t enough protein. Your curls look amazing! 😉

🧖🏾♀️ I LOVE, LOVE, LOVVVVE STEAMing my hair! I've been steaming for many years now. Its a MUST (and game changer) if you have color treated hair. I no longer have color but I steam at least every other week for 30 mins. Takes your moisturizing conditioners/masques to the next level!

I've had this steamer for about 2 years and was using it once a week for about 20 minutes each time. I noticed my scalp was getting very tender and was hurting very badly for about weeks. My scalp was burned in 3 different sections. I now use the steamer very sparingly. I guess it was too much of a good thing. Please be careful and don't overdo it.

I've started steaming my hair faithfully for like two months.... GAME CHANGER! I steam for 20 minutes, 40 minutes, or 60 mins depending on how i feel.

I have worn my hair in locs since 06' until about two weeks ago (big chop!). I started using my upright clothes steamer to steam my hair for about 20 mins on the weekends and for about 5 mins before styling during the week. I have noticed that moisture penetrates my hair shaft better, and my hair is happier.
🧖🏾♀️STEAM🧖🏾♀️I used to steam my hair all the time in my first years of high school, I got heat damaged in the back of my hair. Don't do it to excess and open the circle things on the top of the hood.

Steam!!! Steaming is great! I’ve got the Q Redew handheld steamer and I have to admit my hair really improved with retaining moisture etc. I haven’t used it in a while but that’s a great idea to use it now with all of the cold weather outside and drying heat inside. Great video as always! 😊👍🏽

Steam!!!!! Your hair looked so shiny. I used to get steam treatments when I went to the salon. I love them. I actually have a steamer, but have yet to use it. I know, lazy! But what I have been doing was using my Q-redew to steam in my deep conditioner or hot oil treatment. But just this past Sunday my Q-redew refused to give up the steam!!! So I might be opening that new steamer box soon. Lol.

STEAM 🧖🏽♀️. I always steam my hair, I have a Qredew steamer so it's handheld. It's sooooooo worth it. My hair holds styles longer and helps products to absorb better. When i tell you my wash n gos transformed.... I really mean it. Doing it regularly has really worked wonders for my hair. I steam with my Qredew for about 10-15 mins so i can get direct steam, then i use a shower cap and my hot head after so i can keep that heat in and be mobile!

Steam!! I love this steamer!! I treated myself to this steamer last year. I actually alternate between this and my hothead. I like steaming because I don’t wear a plastic cap..so it really gets the moisture into my strands!! Great video!!👍🏽🙌🏽👏🏽🥰

Steam! I LOVE my hooded steamer! It's made all the difference in my low porosity hair. My curls feel plump and hydrated and the condition of my hair has improved over time. I feel pampered when I sit under mine, but I feel you on wanting to multi-task while you deep condition.

I have a steamer as well. I steam my hair for as long as the steamer is on; which is 20 minutes. I steam it every other time and the other time I use my hooded dryer. STEAM... It makes a huge difference to your hair. I love mine.

I have the same steamer. I was about to get the hand held one, but kept hesitating because I did not want to hold it in a spot and keep moving it. This you just sit under, read or water videos or TV. It works great. And it was cheaper than the hand held one. I alternate between this and my hot head cap. I love both. #STEAM

This was my first time ever using the steamer so I’m still trying to figure out how often I want to use it
I use to go to Dominican salon and they use to steam my hair every time I went my hair felt great and I also have a hot head I love it too!! STEAM
