That prepoo is the definition of slip and moisture literally its absolutely amazing and you cant beat the price! I have tried the prepoo by the mane choice from the heavenly halo collection which is also amazing but that bad boy is 20 dollars😫 so that is why I love the African pride one far more! I literally just ran out last wash day so I'm gonna buy another 2 very soon!!
Yeah the price is SO NICE! And a little goes a long way too because there’s so much slip!
Picked this up I'm.excited to try ! I personally don't like detangling in the shower as I find i do a better job when I sit down and take the time to do it otherwise I rush in the shower, I like to spend as little time in shower doing my hair

I tried both products and I love the wash day wonder but i have to give it to Africa Pride it made my hair feel sooo soft after and cost affective.

Happy 2019 Ms. Lydia welcome back! Have a blessed year. Lydia, add 2 drops of rosemary oil to any shampoo you use, it moistures the scalps and helps with new growth. Plus a few drops of lavender oil to your deep conditioners.

Detangle. Another RUclipsr also reviewed this product. This must be the month for pre-poos. I just tried the Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Pre-poo and I love it. During the winter months I use a pre-poo which is usually a hot oil treatment, but now I can alternate with these pre-poos.
I feel like you’d enjoy this one a lot if you get to try it!!

I love the My African Pride prepoo. It smells amazing, get the knots out of my hair. Also the definition it has! Your hair was so defined. My friend told me about it as she got in a Curlbox. I bought it from a beauty supply when I went back to NYC. I’ve searched for it in a few stores where I live in VA and havent found it so I dont use the jar I have weekly because I’ll be sad when it runs out. I want to try Devacurl but its so much money.
Yeah I had a hard time finding this product near me too! And then one day I randomly decided to check my local beauty supply and they had it! But I know NaturallyCurly.com sells the prepoo too!

🌵 Detangle! I had to laugh at your instant "shookness" lol. I legit made something similar using aloe juice, glycerin, and guar gum the other day and the slip was incredible. Yesterday I tried the gum with water to use as a gel. Works great but I used way too much and was a flaky hot mess lol. My curls looked great otherwise though.

I think I am going to try it. I always detangle my hair before shampoo. It helps my hair to stay de tangle when I shampoo. Usually that the only full detangling that I have to do. When I shampoo and pre pooing my wash day goes fast and easy with minimal shedding.

Detangle. I have not considered this type of product for my hair. I love the idea of it because I will spend 20-30 minutes in my shower detangling. By the time I finish, the water is cold! I will def be trying this product or a similar product.

Thank you so much for an affordable option of the deva curl washday wonder. Hair products here in Europe can be extremely pricey. Some areas of my head can be so dry and hard to detangle, you wouldn’t believe it’s the same persons hair 😂. I’m not sure if I’m gonna get this or the kinky curly knot today to detangle. Anyone any suggestions?

I would say the pre shampoo works best in the shower and the knot today works best as a leave in for me

So is it something you could leave in? The reason I am asking is that I have a bi-racial granddaughter and even though I put her hair in a braid or two, I end up having to re-do it during the week because she is just so active. No matter what I do she always has lots of tangles because her hair is so thick.

I use the African pride pre-shampoo wet and dry, because like u said I don’t want to detangle then go to the shower I like alrdy being in the shower. Either way is great in my Opinion and it’s way cheaper than deva curl which is a plus 🙌🏾🌀

The irony I just started back using African Pride products after not using them for years. Currently using their Anti-Breakage Oil and Olive Miracle Leave-In Conditioner.
