Knowing the history of Hazbin Hotel and its development is incredible. Starting out as just a couple of OCs for a spin-off of another one of her series', growing a supportive fanbase, and making it big with an Amazon Prime show. Its just plain incredible.
This show wouldn't have happened without the transparent openness of the internet as a medium, and Hazbin is proof that legacy media is old and behind the times. The frontier of animation is on RUclips, not at Disney, or really any streaming service for that matter. Media has been decentralized away from Hollywood, and that's a very good thing.

I remember seeing Hazbin Hotel promoted early last month on Prime's advertisement before starting a show or movie. And I remember thinking to myself that the animation looked very familiar. And that's when I realized that it looks just like Helluva Boss. So, I assumed it was just a continuation or spin-off to Helluva Boss. Never really thought I would've ended up watching Hazbin Hotel since I never watched Helluva Boss before. I only started watching it because of an Instagram account that I follow posted a review about it and it caught my attention. So, I decided to look into the show and start with the pilot on RUclips. Little did I know what I was getting myself into, and now I'm fully invested in this show and a huge fan of it!! I binged watched the whole series in one night and rewatched it again a few days later!! 🤩
I only discovered Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss this week. And I'm having a great time. I already binged everything. Now I gotta wait like all the peasants. 😂

In the weeks thst the episodes released, I witnessed multiple online platforms blow up with people talking about it. Weeks after the season finale aired, I'm still seeing people discuss and react to this show online like never before. This is truly lightning in a bottle, and Prime would have to be Netflix levels of dumb not to keep this series going for multiple seasons.
