Watching 10 years (to the day) after this magnificent performance! Thanks to M. Roth - and the Pierre-Francois - for posting it! I had the pleasure of hearing Daniel Roth play Mass in May 2022 - a truly unforgettable experience!

Brilliant. Surprisingly anthemic piece. Thanks for posting, I love to watch the interactions between the organist and registrants. You can see they all love what they do.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME I THINK THIS TOPS EVEN MICHAEL MURRAY RECORDING ON TELDEC (FRANCK MASTERWORKS IN MY TOP FIVE ORGAN DISCS).

When it comes to the organ, there's the French, and then there's everybody else.

Can anyone tell me where one finds a score for this piece? I couldn't find it among the individual pieces in L'Organiste. Granted, it doesn't begin to compare to the major works, but it certainly is entertaining, and I suspect many audiences would enjoy hearing it. Of course, when played on the incomparable Saint-Sulpice Cavaille-Coll, it sounds like a million bucks (or francs)!

What a load of turgid waffle. To think that this came from the same mind as the stupendous Trois Chorals...
