I've had four treatments now, and I'm very pleased at the insights that I get after each session. It's like my subconscious mind is stirred and things that I need to deal with rise to where I can see them and process them. For me, there is always a sound that reminds me of the "Shepherd's falling tone" that lets me know I'm going in. My view seems to widen and wrap around, almost like I can see behind myself - and then I lose all sense of self. I see colors and fractal geometry. The first session it was orange and green. I saw cream, white, lavender, and yellow the second time. Third time was all blues - every shade imaginable. My most recent session was black and white - very stark and bold geometry. I go into each session with "intention" a few words that remind me of what I think I need the most help with; for example it was "don't overthink things" this last time - and it *has* been easier to come to decisions since then - I don't waffle as much trying to decide.

Love these videos. I would however like to see one made on the “ inbetweeners.” Meaning, the people It kind of works for, how long they should pursue it and when it might be time to call the infusions a day. I ask because that’s about where I’m at. I feel some benefits but not a complete relief of my depressive symptoms. What kind of tweaks can be made. Thank you!

I am the same in terms of only partial relief. I am on another antidepressant as well. I find I need to stay on ketamine to stop the very dark side, including self-harm. I have been on ketamine for over 3 years, mainly intranasal generic ketamine and in Australia where options are limited.

@@drewwollin3462 which anti depressant are you taking? Also if you want to chat more about it I’m on whatsapp. I actually have another fiend I talk to from Australia

@@kevinherron6051 I have been on Parnate for 20+ years after trying all the other types. It has lots of side effects but works for me. From what I understand, ketamine is used as an adjunct to another conventional antidepressant.
Access to ketamine is difficult in Australia as there are few infusion clinics. I do it with my GP and psychiatrist. I use generic ketamine intranasally via a special spray device, "Teleflex MAD Nasal Intranasal Mucosal Atomization Device". It is much better than the spray bottles. Plus I gently blow out my mouth to create pressure to close my soft palette. That keeps the medication in my nose and stops it from running down my throat. A bit different, but the cost is low, about $100 for 12 doses. I do it twice a week.

I float around and listen to my music. I’ve remembered a lot of stuff in reference to my life. I have PTSD. It’s interesting.

Very true that the experiences differ. Even from one session to the next. I find I have a ketamine hangover, a bit like with alcohol, for hours after.
