Your coat is so lovely, I bought a kit from the Sussex Seamstress for the Arundel skirt and the instructions and tutorial were great. 😊❤

@@jackiecaine3220 it's not cheeky and whilst I normally wash fabric I didn't for this one. I didn't feel it was necessary. Xxx

Love this, I have made a few jackets but not a coat yet and I can never find a ready to wear that fits me so this is now on my list!

Having watched your video I’ve purchased the Sussex Seamstress coat pattern. Not made a coat for myself so a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind. We’re the fabric requirements spot on? Also when you lined the hood, how did you finish the seam where the hood was attached to the coat? Many thanks. ❤

Hello so sorry for the delay in replying . Of course I don't mind you asking questions. The fabric requirements were not spot on. I got mine out of much less. I think I only had 2.5 metres and I don't think I used all of that. I slipped stitched the hood lining to coat at the neckline. Let me know if you have any other questions x

@@StitchHemSew Awe thank you so much for your reply. Not sure about having a go now, tried putting an anorak fastener on a bag I’ve made, it did not end well🤷‍♀️

@@beverleymarton8188 I used poppers/snaps on mine. Worked fine with the prym Vario pliers. Perhaps consider a different type of closure x
