For me ( I have traveled and worked on every continent for several years) Australia is just as dead as the superstitious, racist Africa, since their internment camps and overreaching C19 measures. Australia went back to its beginning: Being an island full of prisoners.
Welcome back Kinga! So much looking forward to your Aussie adventures. Yes it's been very wet for two years since the bushfires but it is greening up nicely again. It'll be lovely to see the Snowy Mountains and Great Ocean Road and more. Keep it all coming.
Dear Kinga, As you know I follow every journey of yours. Especially in Africa. Very beautiful continent. Nice to see that you are back in Australia. Have a safe trip. 😘
How excellent, we have parallel paths you and I! I sold my F800GSA, named Orinoco, for a Norden as well, which I will name Tomsk. Happy Trails Kinga and I hope to see you on some trails in OZ.
Home is home, always good to be home, to be honest when you said you were back for 40days, wow I thought to myself that’s a long time to be away from riding so comes as no surprise you back into it in Oz. Look forward following your home adventure mini series!
You are so inspirational for me. I'm week 72 now of being "homeless" 😉 full time traveling. When I get down wondering if I made the right decision I watch a few of my favorite RUclipsrs like you and that rights my mental ship and off I go. Recently was at the Eastermost Point Of USA. That was cool but as I notice with you it's not about checking off waypoints on a list it's 1) about the ride, 2) about the personal interactions, the stories. Thank you for the rides and the uplifting adventures.
@@onherbike Oh I so agree. 67 and want to keep doing this now while my body still wants to do it as much as my soul does. Knowing me I'll probably push a little beyond that point. 🏍️🏕️
Bravo this is e excellent choice! For me personally i think that Hysqvarna Norden 901 it is a true adventure bike with out a doubt, motorcycle for almost every chalange. Very versatile, excellent on road, pretty capable off road.
Looking forward to see you on a new continent. About the name, of course it needs to be Nordic, but not the common gods. Being a swede, I suggest the name "Gullfaxe". In nordic mythology it was the horse of the giant Rugner. It was a fast horse which could ride on land, sea an in the air. They rode a race against Odens horse Sleipner, and lost, but the both reached the goal and were invited to a fiest. Ok, he made an enemy of Thor at the party and Gullfaxe was given as a gift to Thors son. Well, why not be a bit unique :) /Rob
I like your sense of humor and the way you present your motorcycle adventures is amazing!!!!! Waiting to see Australia trough your eyes. Hello from New York!!!!
I'm happy to follow you along on your adventures in Australia and excited how the Norden performs💪😋🤩! Good entry episode , the 16 minutes went by pretty fast, thanks a lot 👍!
Hi Kinga, welcome home! I never drove on the Harbor Bridge but I climbed it in 2012. I like your new video opening! You mentioned the Husky being a temporarily new bike!!! Will you switch once you go to The USA?? Ciao di Roma P.S. Back in 1998 in rode my HD from Darwin to Melbourne and I loved it! But it was a rough ride. Did Cairns to Melbourne all the way down the coast. No off road for me then. Now, I can't wait to see Australia through your eyes! Cheers
Hi Kinga, welcome to Australia, last i saw you in Cape Town, eish that bike is very fast, Enjoy the country with the extreme poisonous creatures, be safe dearest Kinga 👍🏻
Are we there yet? NO! Great first episode, Kinga. It's weird to think that it's bright and sun shiny here and you're going into fall there. The new bike looks awesome. Stay warm! Safe riding!
Hi Kinga. I have a family connection to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. My maternal grandmothers brother was one of the team that went out from Teesside in the UK for the Dorman Long company to do the steel erection on the bridge. After the bridge was completed he remained in Oz where my Gran said he started his own company. His family name was Yallop, same as a famous Australian cricketer in the 1970's.
and Im sure you know the loans taken out to finance its construction were only paid off in 1988, 65 years after construction began. And its most famous maintenance man was Paul Hogan, better known (later in life) as Crocodile Dundee.
Just learning to ride off road (late bloomer at 62!). I am 179cm tall and my DriRider adventure jacket sits quite short on me. Love your gorgeous ReviT womens Sand jacket, but was concerned I would be too tall for it. I am happy to see you are also quite tall and the ReviT gear seems to sit long enough on you. Just need to save the money to buy it!
Hello from England! Loving your adventures Kinga, you're a breath of fresh air! My son bought a Husky Svartpilen 125 to learn to ride on, and recently passed his test on an RT at the BMW Riding School so he's going to love this. By the way your, bridge is just a copy, the original is here in Newcastle upon Tyne 😂 Stay safe!
Welcome back to Oz Kinga. Very cold at present, yesterday my ice warning was flashing on the first hour of my ride. Took ages to thaw out 😂 Looking forward to your travels.
Kinga, You have been missed since you left my country South Africa so welcome back with your new and beautiful Husqvarna Norden 901 so kindly sponsored by Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia. They have chosen you very wisely as their Brand Ambassador and we all look so forward to your great travel videos on your new bike going forward.
Hm, being from Sweden that bike is right up my alley😁. Name, lets make it a lady... Freya...Freya was one of the most sensual and passionate goddesses in Norse mythology. She was assosiated with much of the same qualities as Frigg; love fertility and beauty. But it is a rugged handsome bike, so maybe Balder is better. He was the handsome son of Frigg and Odin and was the epitome of radiance, beauty and fairness. Big thanks Kinga, Aussie tour will be awsome!!
Excellent bike, good option. A name for it, Wallaby? I will follow you here from Portugal on this journey in Australia, extraordinary country. Good luck
You should definitely check out the dunes Around Kingston SE south of Adelaide and ride the long beach. Maybe put your bike up onto the granites and take a picture of it while you're there
Lovely video of Sydney. Can not wait to visit family in Sydney. Together with Auckland, Rio de Janeiro ,Cape Town , New York and Istanbul my favorite world cities.
Wow KInga!! Back in Australia!! So excited for you! Been following your adventures for years. Would be great to see you at a meet up if you're in or around Melbourne
You should call it after some norse god, e.g. Odin or Thor. Husqvarna is an old Swedish brand (but now owned by KTM) and Norden is the swedish name for the old norse countries (Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark). Or instead of a god, my favorite, Ratatosk. A squirrel who runs up and down the world tree Yggdrasil, A world traveller.
New motorbike looks great. It will be interesting to compare the ride when bike had no weight, to when it's full of extra gear, Cheers from Melbourne 🇦🇺
You must visit Raja Ampat, Kelimutu Lake, Bromo, Lombok etc in iNDONESIA.
♥️♥️♥️
Nice to see kinga back in Australia after 4 long years and we get to see australia with kinga👍

As for me, Australia is just as exotic as Africa. I am excited about your new adventures.

riding bike from Australia to France is going to be amazing adventure
I saw the Opera House in 1968 on R&R from Nam. Australia was great. Loved it. People were wonderful. Never returned.
Welcome back to Oz!!! Can’t wait to see some places I know and some new ones. Safe travels.
Back home, straight to the bridge & opera house. A new black/yellow 900 Husky. “Waltzing Matilda” SkyNews on TV. Show us around Kinga. wow !
SHEILA for the name of the bike
safe travels!
Wet hugs are always the best.
Love you Kinga! All the best for your adventures ... ❣❣❣
Excellent, just what I need, someone riding around Australia. I like the Husky.
New Bike, New Roads, New Adventures & same old Kinga = Awesome!
