I never saw Alanis live, but as much as I love The Foo Fighters(who I also never saw live), when I think about Taylor, I first always picture him with Alanis, because that's when I first heard of him.
100% I saw him play with Foo Fighters in 2017 I couldn’t take my eyes off him despite being obsessed with guitarists. It was an amazing show I’m beyond grateful to see him play live.
Foo Fighters was one of the only live acts that could come close to Queen and actually tended to sound better live, as Queen did... there is something that can't be caught on tape with either band that just shines live. Their influence was definitely evident!

Roger was born in King's Lynn and moved to Truro as a kid. He was going back to Norfolk regularly to see his grandma but lived in Cornwall most of his school years until moving to London to uni. However I enjoy your confidently incorrect energy here lol For extremely detailed and well documented Truro years I recommend reading classic "Queen in Cornwall".

John Deacon didn't quit Queen. He retired from music entirely because he didn't enjoy playing anymore without Freddie being there.

I never found out he was with Sass until after he passed. I didn't hear of him until Alanis, but now I know he was with Sass first.

I recommend the video of Taylor singing Under Pressure with Luke Spiller of The Struts. They did a fine job.
The blind eye which all of these people turn to people's (Roger Taylor's to Freddie Mercury's being something unreal!) bad behaviour is incredible.
To be fair, at the time of Freddie's bad behavior, no one knew that type of behavior could be a death sentence. At least not till it was too late.
