I recently purchased a boat that has trim tabs. leveling out the boat side to side was explained but this is the first I have heard about using it to control bow bouncing. Thanks for the tip!
We are so glad our video has been helpful!! Thanks a ton for the super thanks 😊 Tight lines 🎣
What I love about GFT is there is never an inch of condescension towards those of us that don't know much about boats or fishing, just plain spoken educated information that is easy to understand. :-)
Excellent point.
Right! They definitely understand how green some of us are to the boating world
I don't even have a boat but I appreciate you ladies teaching us the basics.
I am a lowly vacation boat renter😐
I was not insulted at all by this simple video and learned better use of trimming. Thanks ladies!
I respect these girls for doing their thing without targeting desperate incels or teenage boys.
I've never liked those FL girls that have a youtube channel that's just them reeling in a fish in a thong. And of course, most of them are going out on charters. They have no skills and couldn't catch anything on their own.
The GFT's are gorgeous girls. They could make every video in skimpy bikinis bending over the rail the whole time and their channel would instantly get far more views,,,but they dont.
And I respect that. Especially when you consider what the majority of girls in their age range are like nowadays.
If these girls blow up(and I think they will). They will have earned it.
🐠👍
You can spot a quality family life ! "You will know them by their fruits "
Agree
Great to see two young positive people sharing great boating skills and knowledge, useful content, and inspiring other people young & old to have go, keep it up

I appreciate that you work to give great info with out resorting to bikini thumb nails. Not that I am opposed to bikinis but I am opposed to clickbait thumbnails.
I appreciate that they actually deliver content without having to resort to skimpy bikinis for fake views. Its genuine and real and keeps me coming back.
As a child, I enjoyed books with pictures to go along with the story being told, the story would have been the same without the visuals. But with that said, i still very much appreciated the visual stimulation. 😝
The way I remember Port is Left is when you leave a Port, you've left Port!
too brilliant
When I was in the Navy- a long time ago, and as someone who worked below the waterline, I came up with this mnemonic trick to remember port & starboard. The size of the words. Red, left, port. (Smaller words.) Green, right, starboard. (Larger words.) Thanks for making all these awesome videos Ladies! 🙏🏽
You don't drive a boat you run it. I started on my dads fishing when I was 12 years old. Single screw. . Don't forget to show them what happens when someone fall over board. I used to throw a life jacket over and told them to pick me. Most almost always turned up wind. After the boat drifted over the jacked they started to over it. they seem to under stand why you don't come alone side on up wind ward side. I am 85 now and admire you young people teaching the new one. I ran and crewed on boats from 20ft. up 85 ft. power boats. Sail boats from 24ft. to 76 ft. Trans pak.Wish you well. Gman
Are you the boating terminology police?
I've just got my first boat. A 31ft center console equipped with twin 225 white Mercury's. I lost my lower engine parts costing me around $3K maintenance due to driving in shallow water without trimming up my engines. Simple mistake I could've avoided learning the basics before driving my new boat.
Essential information! Thank for the great video ladies!
Thank you for watching!! We are glad our video was helpful 😊 sorry to hear about the damage!
This was my first video on boating. I actually learned a few things.
I am learning quite a few things
Involving the stern , docking and taking off from the dock .
These lessons although already known cannot hurt watching repeat tutorials .
Your videos are helpful !
Thank you!!
Back to boating after a 40 year hiatus. Trying to absorb all the info I can. You young ladies are great, very informative, knowledgeable and keeping it simple for us old newbies! Great stuff! Out 7 times in the past two months on my new Carolina Skiff 17 LS with 90 hp Suzuki. I'm learning a lot from videos and experience. Best advice yet: "Don't go any faster than you want to hit the dock!" LOL.
We are so glad you found our video helpful!! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you ladies for a very informative lesson on boat trimming. When (if) I can ever afford something more than a basic outboard, maybe I'll head down to the Keys and beg a lesson! LOL
Great content ladies ! Love the boating 101 !! Y’all really communicate well and y’all do it so naturally! Keep it coming
Love this content !!! Great job Ladies -you guys rock - I am land locked so watching you guys is great !
I have learned more from your videos, than ever by just driving boat. Thanks, your videos are very informative. Keep up good work.
Nearly forgot... I was brought up on boats fishing in freshwater. I have learned so much from you two... you are both confident and competent captains and are most certainly an inspiration to young folks who enjoy fishing and boating!!! Keep it up!!
The two of you are so good at your explanations and actually teach us all something every time we watch. Thanks for the girls on the water, we all are pushing forward to get our respect with all of those good old boys, in service, marinas, etc which are not very helpful with new boat owners or info in general. What a refreshing approach you give us all, thanks so much.
Well done TWINS. You came across as serious and articulated your message professionally. Stick with it.
I am enjoying catching up on watching your videos. You two ladies are inspirational figures to any new boater and also to experienced boaters who do not fish using tactics that are not common to their home waters. This was a very well done basics instructional. One thing that was funny to me being an older viewer was when you said something similar to “You start the motor just by turning the key, no pushing a button like on a newer car”. My family used to own a 1943 Ford pickup and you started it by pushing the starter button. 🥂
As a new boat owner, I love your videos. I've watched some of these multiple times!
Your videos have been a huge help for this new boat owner! Thanks!!!
FINALLY this is the info i've been looking for. thank you ladies. very easy to understand. liked and subbed.
Thats a great video!! I'm going to drive a boat for the first time this weekend in Vancouver to Bowen Island & I feel fully prepared & confident after watching this video. Thank you @Gale Force Twins!!
Golf Clap 👏 simple explanation, intriguing and great humor. Thank you so much for your teachings.

Well done ladies! Very helpful and informative. Please keep ‘em coming. Stay safe our there and have fun 💕
I've viewed several boating videos. Your is the the clearest and most helpful video I have seen. Much thanks!
Great video. I learned something today. I grew up around boats but just bought my first one last summer. Your comments about the draft of the boat got me thinking, I should look mine up. I was always taught, raise the drive when you start kicking up mud. Knowing actually measurements seems safer 🤣. Thanks!
Great job! I just bought a Grady White Freedom 375 and will take delivery sometime in the next couple weeks. This video has helped and clarified a lot!! Thank you!
Great basics for any boat owner!!
You guys are really great
Very well informed ladies. Glad to see someone taught you both very well and you are better than most dudes and you put them to shame! Bravo!

Beautiful boat ladies. Good info for us newbies who are learning the ropes.
I subscribed to your channel because you guys do more than teach, and explains things very well. You tell a story you give a beginning, middle and end as to what’s going on why it’s going on how it’s going on what to do about it and you make it easy to understand… so thank you
Excellent. I'm an experienced offshore sailor, but just inherited a 29-foot center console. Excellent information! Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. And in a very easy to understand way. Me and my daughter who’s 12 and son who’s 9 are moving to the coast and looking for a family fishing boat.
