Tip to make the diy trek pak more sturdy is to add bobby pins to the bottom of the corregated plastic too. When I first did this, the top would stay still but the bottom would be shufflling around a bit. Great of you to pass this tup out though!
Awesome! I have been planning on a video, yes I'm not getting them done, but planning a video on my DIY hard case divider system as well... I love what you've done and it's great to show the community how we each manage our gear and shots individually. Everyone can take away what they need to do their own take on it. Thanks Joel!
I was literally looking at the Nanuk empty cases and wondering how to get a more cost effective divider system. Perfect timing that you posted this video! Thank you
Coraplast - corrugated plastic, I use the same system. I skipped on putting the foam pads too lol I also put little tabs on the bobby pins so I can easily adjust if needed.

Hey Joel! What kind of clear zipper pouches are you using in the cases? Great video btw! Thanks!

Glad you like them! This is so awesome to hear! I appreciate all the support on my channel.
The michael’s hack is great. I made dividers with the version from amazon with adhesive foam. Expensive for sure 😅
That's awesome! The DIY system held up great on my recent airline travel. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for this. Ordered the parts to initiate this hack! I also found the trek pack pins which aren’t too much money.
Glad I could help! I gotta look into the trek pack pins. That's a good idea. They are really solid. Thanks for watching!
I got one TrekPak for my Fs5 case also but never bought it again, same reason, too expensive for what it is. Thanks for the foam board idea!
That's awesome! Glad to hear i'm not the only one! Thanks for watching!
Hey, thanks for the shout out!
You bet! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you bro. Subscribed. Keep the videos coming.
I appreciate that! Thanks for the support!!!
I've always thought TrekPaks were highway robbery.
For sure! After doing this to all my cases I will never buy another TrekPak. Thanks for watching!
$225 per case is ridiculous. I like your diy version
Absolutely bro!!
I always take a pic of how I packed my cases so I can remember how to repack them after a gig. ;)
That's a really good idea! That would be helpful for other crew members if they are not familiar with the gear. Thanks for watching!
