I don’t think people realize how much work goes into some shots that just don’t work. I wish some clients would be willing to bend a little more. But good on you for sticking with it. I dig the content
Thanks for sharing! I've heard good things about GVM lights. The only thing that turned me off was that there were reports that the bowens mount is recessed quite a bit into the body of the light, and that some people have difficulty with shallow bowens fixtures. Can you test that in your review? It's unfortunate the issues that David has with his FX6. There are some great 3rd party accessories that are priced well, and having such a critical issue with them doesn't bode well.
Bro, lol you have a ton of v mount batteries lol hook up a light at night so you can pack whenever you want. I've used my 60d with a battery when Edison was working on the lines haha
RUclips has been serving you up these past few weeks. Very glad it has! New to the channel. Loving the content. Peeping the Christmas Tree before Thanksgiving 👊🏻
what if you get the godox s2 adapter or something similar where the weight on the Bowens mount is straight onto the adapter rather than onto the light unit. that way you might be able to use a molus or cinepeer. what sort of power would you be putting through it? ive ordered a couple of these light banks, although I think the ones that I got have a different name here in the UK. I dont do much video, but ive got a project coming up and my most powerful video light is a g200 molus.
I seriously think you're the reason why the LightBank is sold out at B&H. It's been in my saved cart for months. After you released the video of the LightBank in a hotel room, it quickly became "out of stock."
Oeh, do you like the GVM? I have been looking at that exact model.. just not sure if it is overkill and that maybe the 500 would be enough.. I sometimes rent the aputure 300d, but that can stil be not strong enough for some indoor interviews with window light coming in.
Love your videos dude! I buy one lightbank for my jobs. How you pack the lights when you must travel with the plain? Like with a small case for lights and stands.
I remember when I bought my Innovative cart. I had to explain to my wife why I needed a $4k cart... She eventually gave me permission. When she saw how much easier it made my life, she asked me why I hadn't bought it before...

Nice set-up. Too bad they don't have the lightBank on Amazon anymore.

that book light is dope
Hey man! Great video! What type of production van do you have? I'm trying to make a decision on a production vehicle and I like what I saw!

Hey Joel, how do you like those SHAPE stands? Was thinking of picking up 4 of them.

Dude! Invest a few bucks in some solar lights! Glue some magnets on them and place them where needed! No Excuses!
