I really hope that on April 1st, 2020, Rodney puts out a video where he's all "Today we're gonna play the two-to-four player game..." and then he goes for the ol' shelf-grab-box-toss but tosses it a bit higher than normal and someone off-camera above him grabs the box and it never comes back down into his hand and he just shrugs and goes "Huh, I guess we're not going to learn anything today." and then the rest of the video is a 15 minute clipshow showcasing every time Rodney has ever said "Kerds" Or not. I have no authority here.
I am also willing to accept a mashup of clips cut together to make it seem like Rodney is singing the entirety of Rick Astley's "Never gonna Give you Up"
Really intriguing game. I didn't realize sorcerers were just gerrymanders. I like the variety of tiles, too. Thanks for another very informative and entertaining instructional vid!
I like your way of explaining things. After watching your video, I feel like I'm ready to play the game. No questions unanswered. Always happy when I learn a new game and I see that you have a video for it.
I think I would really enjoy a gag-reel of all the failed box flips at the start of the videos and all the failed lid flips at the end. I mean, erm, of course those don't exist, because Rodney is perfect, but I'd still appreciate it :-P
When I backed this on KS I was but a smooth-faced young kid, just back from the war, just falling in love and buying my first house. I'm now on dialysis and have had both hips replaced and my grandchildren have put me in Windy Farms Community Village.
Hello, I have ‘ESCAPE! The Curse of The Temple’ coming in the post and would love to see a tutorial for this. Your videos are very informative and have helped me learn many games. A tutorial would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Very nice opening flip. I was betting on a drop, but you caught it! Nice job. I like the concept of the game. I love patterns, I love magic and monsters. It seems to be a faster paced game with simultaneous play, which is timed. I am going to show this to my lovely bride. It may make the list for down the road. We are a little game heavy now, and just got Court of the Dead which ate my game budget for a while. I am out of town and can’t eve do an opening until Friday. I almost had my wife do it on Skype! Thanks for another wonderful video!
I was wondering, the cards you use to convert raw magic to a resource of your choice, once used do you put the card back into the box? Or can you use it next round too.
Hey K H, I shot this long enough ago, I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Do you have a time stamp to a transformation card you are wondering about?
The rules say nothing about the raw mana transformation cards being one-time only, so I would assume all three are available to be used each round during the scoring phase.

Very kind of you to say Hubert! Happy playing :)

He posted one a couple of months ago: ruclips.net/video/9WXTNh3fsM0/видео.html
@@SilverSnaken Hrm hrm, I was expressing my sorrow over the fact that this would therefore not happen.
I think you should put a little number pop up after you flip the box showing how many takes it took to get it right. :)
The problem is, it would always just be "1".
Gidaio gets it. ruclips.net/video/9WXTNh3fsM0/видео.html
Played a prototype with the designer a couple months ago and it was fantastic
Glad you enjoyed!
Happy to see there was a Watch it played for that. Helped a lot!
Glad you enjoyed! have fun playing :)
Would love to see a super cut of your outtakes :D

And now you'll have a game to play with them :)
@@WatchItPlayed LOL. I love this!
Thank God you've made a video for this. I tried the Geek & Sundry one but I wanted to tear my eardrums out by about the 30 second mark.
They do good work, but hey, not every style is going to be for everyone. Glad you found this helpful.
@@WatchItPlayed You're right. I'm being uncharitable. They clearly cater toward a younger set. I prefer the calmer, more measured approach.

I talk a bit about that here: ruclips.net/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/видео.html&t=342
@Watch It Played Thank you, it is a simple game and we played it recently. Love your vids
Hi Rodney. Another great video!! I was wondering if you have any plans to do a rules video on either Coloma, or paladins of the west kingdom?
Thanks for the interest. I talk a bit about that here: ruclips.net/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/видео.html&t=342
I need to know how many takes the box flip took
Sure thing: ruclips.net/video/9WXTNh3fsM0/видео.html
Merci Rod!
You're welcome!
Looks interesting
Thanks for checking it out!
Thank you!
You're very welcome Lyle!
He6, hope you’re well. Just wondering if you have any plans to do a How to Play video for the board game Nemesis?😁
Hi Martin, I talk a bit about that here: ruclips.net/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/видео.html&t=342

Let’s gooooo !
During the Influence phase, only a 2nd place tie has the demotion mechanic?
Hey there, I don't know it by that name (demotion mechanic), but yes, the way it is described in the video is correct.
I was wondering, the cards you use to convert raw magic to a resource of your choice, once used do you put the card back into the box? Or can you use it next round too.
Do you have a time stamp for the section of the video you are asking about?
@@WatchItPlayed 11:55 it's when you start talking about the cards and raw material.
@@stevelarocque69 Thanks! You do not discard that card.
How long did have to practice that flip to get it right. Great videos Rodney
First time, every time - of course! ;)
Hi Rodney, can I use the same transformation card during different years? Or can I only use it one time and it gets discarded?

How many takes did that flip take haha
