Really looking forward to using this for family game day. Hopefully the pre-order ships promptly, it's still over a month away from release on Amazon. I think it'll be worth the wait.
That’s more of a strategy/design question, than a rules question, so I’d hesitate to try to answer that until I had played many, many more times. Perhaps it helps to consider that any tile can be a high value tile. If you don’t have your 4 icon settlement, you might think of that as a high value tile, but a farm you put in an arrangement that scores 6 other farms is high value too. You might even win a settlements highest points with a low icon settlement tile.

I searched for other how to play: Good thing my favourite explainer already uploaded a few hours ago :) Btw: My Dune: Uprising Video does wonders for me, which I used your video as blue print for. @@beccidoubleday If you have tiles other than what I’ve shown in the video, those are probably the extras that were on the sheet during manufacturing, and aren’t needed for play.
