That kind of moment between Sully and Nate was what I was waiting for during the entire runtime of the Uncharted movie. Sully never conveys how much the compassion which Nate demonstrated really meant to him, and how that's convinced Sully to change. Up until the climax, no matter how nice Nate had been to Sully, Sully would have always chosen the gold over Nate, hands down, no questions asked. Even after Nate got a lonely Sully the cat for a companion, Sully still tried to backstab Nate by walking off with the gold cross. He's only nice to Nate afterwards because he needs Nate to receive his brother's message in the postcards, and because both he and Nate have a common enemy to combat. Only to haphazardly hamfist "character development" - which was completely unprovoked mind you - Sully MAGICALLY decides to have a change of heart and sacrifices the gold to save Nate. It's never explained why he had a change of heart, although the hack writers were just barely competent enough to know that he had to be friends with Nate by the end of the movie for the sequel, so they forced Sully to change, and in turn, the resolution to Sully's internal conflict was so artificial, that Pam Anderson's honkers are more natural than his character development.
i was 9 years old, nice cold christmas morning. i opened my presents and discovered i got a ps3! i was extremley exited. it results i didnt get wwe vs smackdown instead i got this trashy game called "uncharted: Drake's fortune" i was very dissapointed. i guess i could give it a try, i tought. it results it became one of the best games i played in my entire life and still is. thanks for the amazing adventure i had with you nathan drake.
Now in 2019, I still remember when we buy the first Uncharted with my brother. "The jumping guy" because of the game picture, we didn't know the game. Then we started the game and we heard this music. We did all the games, we did all the platinum trophies. We spent night after night playing together. Now he is gone, resting in peace and this song is still here, reminding me the good old days. This game franchise is a legend, a masterpiece. Thank you Naughty Dog.

Better story, unexpected plot twist when Sam Lied, legit action packed, new movement and amazing climbing and jumping mechanics (especially the rope), amazing new environments, the graphics are too good to be true, the voice acting is top notch, the story is more emotional, the faster paced action just makes it better, its the final game for Nathan drake and it ended so good, I was in tears when it ended.
Am I the only one that was younger and didnt understand shit for the puzzles but now that I'm older and look back I'm like "how the hell did I not get this?"
@Spidey Guy Ya know the game is done? He hadn't died, but the game is finished. The most we could right now is a Sully game, before he met Drake, since after, he pretty much stayed with Drake all his life, except the times he stayed with hookers. Or maybe they could make a totally new adventure game staring Drake's daughter, but I doubt they'll do it. Naughty Dog isn't the type to milk a game endlessly.
Sadly I didn’t grow up with him, did not have a ps until now, and my god the greatness of these series, the grandeur, the scenery, the locations and the mysteries. Nathan drake is for the win.
i didn't grow up with lara croft or indiana jones, but i've played all tomb raider games (including the originals) and watched the indiana jones movies as well played all uncharted games as well as lost legacy. and boy, when i tell you, uncharted imo was the one i loved the most and fell in love with immediately. i've replayed it so many times i can't count, and each time, i listen to the theme song before playing :)

You literally skipped Tomb Raider and the decade it came out in, the 90s. Without Indiana Jones, you don't get Tomb Raider and without Tomb Raider you don't get Uncharted.

A good friend of mine plays this when his students walk into class, it sets the mood for learning about the past and gets them excited. A great soundtrack.
So I just beat A Thief's End after marathoning Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves, and Drake's Deception. And I have to say that they were a blast playing through and some of the most well crafted gaming experiences I've ever had.

Uncharted 4 was the first Uncharted game I have ever played (and first platinum ever), now, I got Collection some months ago (I think in end of January) and just finished Uncharted 3, like some minuts ago. Tomorrow I'll do the platinum and I'll have all Uncharteds platted, including Lost Legacy. Then, I'll replay Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, so I can get these little references in the game, so it amazes me more.

(no spoiler incomin) The way I inerprete it, is like, Naughtydog get back on their origins, and on the whole Uncharted serie until the very end of the fourth, like how Unharted 4 is the conclusion of a long story. A conclusion with a kind of opening to new thing thanks to all the experience NaughtyDog earned, personified by a certain character ;D My first game ever as a child was a Crash Bandicoot, btw ^^ now twenty years later, Uncharted ends.
- “Sic Parvis Magna”, Greatness from small beginnings. Uncharted 1 as a game to start the series off I was thrilled at the story telling of the game, unique characters, character acting. It felt like an actual game, but as the franchise progress I become more excited at each game not only seeing graphic improvements but the story telling improved drastically, revealing the characters past, nothing is more satisfying seeing Nathan Drake on all of these great adventures. To end this off Uncharted was such a massive hit in its first releases, including Uncharted 1,2,3, but the Uncharted 4 was by far the best experience. just due to its unique gameplay which was why it sticked out to me then other games like COD, GTA which was basically the same with changes to the story, Uncharted made me feel likes I was actually feeling it, like I was actually there to experience the adventures, along with its movie like cut scenes which was amazing to experience it feel like an real life movie, but better of course I am so sad to see the end of Nathan Drake, but is still looking forward for newer Uncharted games, Thank you Uncharted for these adventurous quests. Goodbye Nathan Drake :(
NG is just the best gaming developer of all time, they don´t do games, they do masterpices, they created the 3D platforming genere and they should defently go back to it, Jak 4 must be made, Jak and Daxter must be brougth to this new genaration of gamers

When i was about 10, my aunt gave me this masterpiece. At first i thought "This is another horrible game." After playing it, i later played all the parts. This game was truly a masterpiece, and i will always have memories of this game stored in my heart.
my dad had a fat OG PS3 mainly as a home theater blu ray player, and when he upgraded to a slim model, it came with Uncharted 2. He brought the box home, took the game out and just put it down--he already had plans to give me the fat ps3 for Christmas so i could play my moms house, so he just left Uncharted 2 unopened until Christmas day bc he didnt want it. I might've beat it that day it was so engrossing and almost everyone was watching because it was so well scripted and looked really good.
+Filip Seger Well, with out nate..uncharted really isnt uncharted. in fairness, if you took out Nathan, then we'd really just have a bit of a bland cover based puzzle shooter. with an OK story.
Nathan Drake may not have been from the era I grew up in which was mainly SNES and PS1's but after finishing Uncharted 4, it felt like an emotional wave just hit me that while this series (or rather, Nathan's story) finally gets to end in a great way, it dawned on me that I was also saying goodbye to a hero you've been with for around 9 years now. I didn't want the journey to end but I'm glad it ended this way, they didn't drop the ball, they kicked the ball majestically and hit the goal. Uncharted to me, never had a bad game, I don't think even the Vita one was bad. This is one of those franchise I love that goes up there with the likes of Metal Gear.
Goodbye? No... until next time. Even if we never see Nathan Drake in a video game again, I will continue to come back to his adventures for as long as I have the means to play them.

It's 2008, I'm at my cousin's house, he brings me to the living room, and shows me the newest hero of his, Nathan Drake, I watched him play the games, it was great when every game came out he invited me over, I remember when he gave me the control on the Himalayan Train level, let me play. Unfortunately we didn't experience the Fourth Game together, but I got it for free on PS+ and played through it, and enjoyed every moment of it. Then PS4 makes the remastered game collection free because of quarantine, so I thank my cousin for showing me this, and now I can play through the entire game series like he once did, except I will be the one playing. I thank my cousin for this so much.

So I just beat A Thief's End after marathoning Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves, and Drake's Deception. And I have to say that they were a blast playing through and some of the most well crafted gaming experiences I've ever had.

Then, I'll replay Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, so I can get these little references in the game, so it amazes me more.

Uncharted 1 as a game to start the series off I was thrilled at the story telling of the game, unique characters, character acting. It felt like an actual game, but as the franchise progress I become more excited at each game not only seeing graphic improvements but the story telling improved drastically, revealing the characters past, nothing is more satisfying seeing Nathan Drake on all of these great adventures. To end this off Uncharted was such a massive hit in its first releases, including Uncharted 1,2,3, but the Uncharted 4 was by far the best experience. just due to its unique gameplay which was why it sticked out to me then other games like COD, GTA which was basically the same with changes to the story, Uncharted made me feel likes I was actually feeling it, like I was actually there to experience the adventures, along with its movie like cut scenes which was amazing to experience it feel like an real life movie, but better of course I am so sad to see the end of Nathan Drake, but is still looking forward for newer Uncharted games, Thank you Uncharted for these adventurous quests. Goodbye Nathan Drake :(

my dad had a fat OG PS3 mainly as a home theater blu ray player, and when he upgraded to a slim model, it came with Uncharted 2. He brought the box home, took the game out and just put it down--he already had plans to give me the fat ps3 for Christmas so i could play my moms house, so he just left Uncharted 2 unopened until Christmas day bc he didnt want it. I might've beat it that day it was so engrossing and almost everyone was watching because it was so well scripted and looked really good.

Nathan Drake may not have been from the era I grew up in which was mainly SNES and PS1's but after finishing Uncharted 4, it felt like an emotional wave just hit me that while this series (or rather, Nathan's story) finally gets to end in a great way, it dawned on me that I was also saying goodbye to a hero you've been with for around 9 years now. I didn't want the journey to end but I'm glad it ended this way, they didn't drop the ball, they kicked the ball majestically and hit the goal.
Uncharted to me, never had a bad game, I don't think even the Vita one was bad. This is one of those franchise I love that goes up there with the likes of Metal Gear.

It's 2008, I'm at my cousin's house, he brings me to the living room, and shows me the newest hero of his, Nathan Drake, I watched him play the games, it was great when every game came out he invited me over, I remember when he gave me the control on the Himalayan Train level, let me play. Unfortunately we didn't experience the Fourth Game together, but I got it for free on PS+ and played through it, and enjoyed every moment of it. Then PS4 makes the remastered game collection free because of quarantine, so I thank my cousin for showing me this, and now I can play through the entire game series like he once did, except I will be the one playing. I thank my cousin for this so much.
