There are certain things that are undeniable, and Barret’s speed & skill can not be denied. He’s an absolute machine. I love watching him play, but as a South African, I’m not allowed to say I like him 😉
that chase on Willie Leroux is still one of the greatest things iv seen in rugby, he came from center field and caught him from a turnaround start, Leroux is not slow..pure speed.
He is the most balanced player ever seen in the history of Rugby ....An explosive runner with unique running lines...Devastating interceptor with mind blowing passes. His defense style gives no room for air.....and has incredible talent of reading game plays.He is the hybrid version of Dan Carter.
Only Kiwis think this. The Northan Hem and S.A are literally laughing at the idea of him having a decent kicking/passing game. When did we become so blind? He's not even on par with nick evans or Mehrts. I'm a Kiwi btw...
i'm newish to rugby; worked in NZ for 6 mo during my life and saw the AB's play Argentina; i'm amazed at the level of athleticism and skill these rugby players have. Good lord. Barrett reminds me of Gretzky or Derek Jeter. It isn't just his stats, or his points, it is his intangible presence, his completeness, his uncanny knack of always being in the right spot. If there's a better or more complete player, well, let's just say I didn't see one in the last World cup.

I wonder if there are any others that surpass him. Many of our kiwi fans who have denigrated him over the years should be ashamed of themselves, after all to get there in the first place is only given to a few and I am very sure they all try their hardest all the time, for us, the public.

Check out the first video i made on this channel, it was on Owen Farrell. Both him and Barrett are the best in the world imo. Though i'd rate Beauden slightly higher overall, i'd prefer Farrell in a tight, low scoring test match.

No doubt the 2015 RWC last try from Barrett is one of the best try's ever. Still gives me goosebumps watching today.
