Shea, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful setup. Sorry to hear you lost your dad. I love that you have a reminder of him that you get to see each time you reach for your TN. I have something similar in my wallet and I get to think about how blessed I was to have such an interesting, loving, kind, and intelligent dad, who told us all the time that having children was the most wonderful blessing in his life. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 I hope your holiday season is filled with beauty, joy, love, and peace.
Hi Pepper. That is so incredibly sweet, thank you. Planners for me are more than just task oriented. They’re about enriching every aspect of my life and are just another method of reflecting and holding myself accountable. So reminders of the most important aspects of life are crucial. The way you describe your dad reminds me of mine too. Our lives will always be bettered by the time we got to spend with people like that. Thank you for your kind words and I hope that your Holidays are warm and rich as well. 💕
Lol thank you! Still around and heavily into plannering, but my set-ups are much more minimal/functional now and not nearly as much fun to look at at I don't think.
Question about Pocket Planners. I have only gone as small as A6 size and am afraid to go smaller. Pocket and Passport the difference is pretty small, but to you who is used to using a pocket planner how big is that difference? And is it work trying out?
A6 to Pocket is one of the smallest size differences, especially depending on how you use it. I can't recall if this particular one in the video is like this, but I would often use A6 covers to house more pocket inserts, making it much thicker and still leaving room for pens to be inserted. It's really the width that changes between those sizes rather than the height.
A tad late here, but if those ink stains bother you, you can stamp over them with the bottom of a coffee cup or add other stamps. I did that with a totally blank Buteo Bunker and love the effect.
Hi. I just came across your channel & I love this video. I just recently (& by recently I mean within the last couple days), started using my very first pocket planner. I have used the, B6 stalogy, reg. TN, pers. rings, and currently my hobo weeks. I love them all. I’m trying to downsize cuz it’s not so heavy. (I need something light in my purse), so I can use it as a wallet. Which also means, I know next to nothing about it, as in sizes and size inserts and everything. I was just wondering what size inserts you use in your chic sparrow pocket plus? I hope you have a good day.
Hi Rhonda, thank you 🙂 ...yes I've used all of those as well, aside from the hobo weeks (not my cup of tea), but I've actually been in a personal wide rings by Moterm for a couple of years now and loving it as my EDC. It is heavy for me too, but it's my life. I used regular pocket inserts in my pocket plus but just so that I could fatten it up more. I still love that little chunk even if I don't use it much anymore. I hope you have a great holiday season!
Very nice video and presentation Shea. Your setup is simple and pretty. Do you recall which No. Foxy Fix dashboards you are using? I'm on the fence about a pocket plus for an EDC but your video is inspirational. Will you be doing an update on your pocket plus? TYFS
Cynthia Thanks, Cynthia 🙏🏻 ... I believe these dashboards are the no. 2’s. I love the feel of the pocket plus so much on the outside, but the space inside wasn’t enough for me, so I moved into larger ones for my edc. I still have this one, but it hasn’t changed or gotten much use.
@@shearivers Thank you for the reply Shea. CS is having a sale so I opted to order a creme black beauty deluxe pocket plus. Others are saying the PP fits the A6 inserts as well. I can't afford a lot of pretty planning type stuff but I'm going to get a few dashboards and turn mine into a daily plan and self care journal. TYFS x
Cynthia I also looked into an A6 cover instead the PP back when I was first shopping for one and decided against it since it seemed a little wider on the front, rather than a thicker spine with more strings like the PP. Just my preference, but they do seem to interchange well though.
@@shearivers I totally agree. I love your simplicity and your creativeness; its very real, productive and kind. I love your idea with the lotus flower and wish I could find something like that too. I especially love that your book isn't over stuffed and you mentioned that your cover is "huggable"; that just spoke to me and exactly what I hope to accomplish with my cover. Perhaps you will reconsider using your cover and do an update? Just thoughts. Q: Do you make and sell the page markers? TYFS x
Cynthia I don’t sell any of my creations currently, but I would like to someday when I have more time. I’m planning on doing an update on my b6 slim edc next, just because it’s the one in use currently, but who knows ..maybe one day ☺️ ...thank you so much for all of your kind words.
Dear SHea, please come back! this vid has always been one of my favs. If I may ask, which planners are you using now? I have not given up on CS PP but due to the bulk, its on the shelf. Still wondering if you still have yours as this size does have our hearts. Wish FF was still around. I agree with the quality of their hidden treasure dashboards considering the quality was so good and I personally haven't found anything comparable. Sending lots of holiday love 💕📖🖋🌹✍🙏
Hey Cynthia - nice to hear from you again 😀I still adore my CSs and my old FFs but mostly have transitioned them to journaling and home-use. I've been using a taupe Moterm Personal Wide Ring planner as my every day carry for the past few years and I love it, even though it is a bit larger. Big fan of Moterm though - they're so functional. Thanks for the love and hope your holidays are warm and amazing! 💞💞💞
@@shearivers Hi Shea, so I decided to go back to my PP for 2025. I'm just not going to stuff it so much so to speak. I figured that now I'm retired, I just need to pick up the Moleskine Weekly and pack a small brain dump and journal to go along with it. Q: can you please laminate a Weekly & Monthly separation page cards like your Monthly one you Washi to the edge of your pages? I can pay & send you some cash back. Please let me know your thoughts? lots of love always TIA 💕🙏
@@CydPiper Hey Cynthia, I took a look around and unfortunately I don’t have those materials anymore. I do have my laminator still but I cannot recall how I made that piece with the stickers if I did have them. I do know I used an acetate sheet from the scrapbook paper section of the craft store if that helps.
@@shearivers Thank you for the reply Shea. I'm sure I can figure something out either way. Happy Beautiful and Memorable Holidays to you and yours sweet friend 💕🎄☃🎅🌹
Nan I totally understand that! I’m the same. I love the look and feel and size, but it’s just not practical for functionality. This is why I can’t let mine go even though I don’t use them.
The first part you see is actually a plastic dashboard cover, which you can slip different papers in each side. The notebook underneath has all the same paper on front and back.
Hi there! Love your video, but could you give me the size of your pocket plus? I've ordered one, but the measurements seem big. On the Nayadori website it says the pocket plus size is 6.1x10.6. Is that right? Thank you!

🎀So 😀Lovely, 📚simple and 💖functional!😄
I know this is almost 10 years old,
Pocket is a size I keep falling in love with in video's but just doesnt work for me :( So sad!

hi! love your set up been waiting for this since your last video. where do you keep your finance section or do you still have that section? thank you.
claudyn burgos Thanks, I still have it (and live by it). I just moved it over into my wallet TN instead.
Shea Rivers thank you for answering back. :)
Where could I get a bigger one of the book?
This is a Chic Sparrow notebook, so you can choose from several different sizes on their website. It’s my favorite TN brand of all.
I just got one and need to learn how to set it up and to add to it and to use it can u help💁🆘
Phala Richardson sure, just let me know of any questions you have.
What number is the foxy fix dashboard?
Shea
just got a chocolate cs plus would love to see your setup. do you have 6 inserts in yours
Debbie Kehner I only have about 5 in mine now. Not very full.
on your last book do you know the name of the scrapbook paper that says Hello darling thank you
It's from the 4x6 card pack from Scrapbook.com's Rossi Belle collection
the first insert you talk about has 2 different scrapbooking papers for front and back. how is that possible ?
The first part you see is actually a plastic dashboard cover, which you can slip different papers in each side. The notebook underneath has all the same paper on front and back.
Are the inserts pocket sized?
papajoeplans yes they are

Beate Masslock Pretty close. When Laying Flat: 6 inches tall x 10.25 inches wide. Thanks 🙏🏻
What size is your TN?
Georgie McDougle it's a pocket plus from Chic Sparrow.
Please don't make noise with your fingernails. The tapping is so annoying!
