Click on your link and scroll down to the description and find the link "Run Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) to automatically detect driver or software updates." See if that helps.

my keyboard and mouse stop working when the windows installation's language selection screen (i.e. the very first screen) appears. both their lights are still glowing (num lock for the keyboard and logo for the mouse). Either I am not understanding your questions, or I am understanding and you're trying to find answers for Mine OS on a Windows 7 video. The best advice I can give on Mine is join a forum and ask someone who has more knowledge on Mine than I do. Sorry.
@@stefanandrei3779 when I searched for my 3.0 drivers I based it on the MotherBoard I used that would support the drivers. So your search might look like "(MB make) (MB model) usb 3.0 driver" take out the () and also check the manufacturers website.
The main difference is that software is more likely GUI making it easier for anyone. At the time of this video, I was looking for free options and came across the step by step guide and ended my search rather than continuing to look for freeware (or paid) to help make it easier.
Yes, that was a big problem I was having, assuming you are plugging in a mouse and keyboard into a USB3 slot. This is what I figured out to make mine work.

Many, but not as many as I believed it would take. :)
